This was a mature driver assessment as I felt a professional pair of eyes would be beneficial to my overall driving. Initially a little nervous but Noel was relaxed which helped with my nerves! It was a very positive experience and I’m so pleased to have had this opportunity. Anyone wondering if they should do it I’d say definitely and very good value for money. Thank you IAMRoadSmart.

I’ve had two experiences with the IAM Roadsmart programme, 1 as an Associate of the IAM going through their training and observation module, and 1 on their Skills Day which was an exceptionally kind gift from my colleagues.
The Skills Day was excellent, very well hosted and supported. I learned a great deal about what the bike and I am capable of, although it was disappointing in the middle section on track when individuals were plata to breaking the code, ruining the session for all, only to be discontinued, and then allowed back on the last module; they should have been turned away, sent home, allowing those remaining to benefit from great time on the track and with a closer engagement with the instructors👎🏻
The training and observation was equally disappointing. My observer and I had invested a great deal of time and effort into my observed rides, then on the ‘check ride’ another person (going for their national observer qualification) completely trampled over my riding, including a complete mistake on his part over indicator use on a rural roundabout; when I challenged this, it was poorly handled, and then when I walked away, the local ESAM dropped me, zero interest in understanding why or whether we could resolve this👎🏻 I know understand ‘Check Rides’ have been discontinued👍🏻

I booked this course with an open Mind, not really knowing what to expect but it was certainly an eye opener, im amazed at how much I've learnt and it's definitely taught me how to be a better driver! A big thanks to Chris carr for his patience and professionalism and a thank you to observer dave mckenna too 😊.I would recommend this course to anyone!

The host, Caroline was great. Very welcoming & pleasant. The course itself was also a big eye opener too. Lots learnt and taken in. I would highly recommend IAM Roadsmart. It's a 16hr, online course, done over 3 days. Upon completion, you then get a 25% reduction on your driving ban.

I found the iSMART Drink Drive Awareness Training informative and thoughtful. The trainer Caroline was very professional, patient and carry everybody along. The course helped me understand the serious consequences of drink-driving, recognise my triggers, and develop practical strategies to make safer decisions. It has increased my awareness and confidence in planning alternatives to driving after drinking. Overall, it was a valuable and positive learning experience for me .

I found the Road Smart course really informative and eye-opening. It made me reflect on my actions, the risks involved in drink-driving, and the importance of making safer choices in the future. The course helped me understand the potential consequences of my decisions and has given me a lot to think about moving forward. Thank you to the team for delivering the course and helping me learn from this experience.

The trainer at iam Road smart was very informational and freindly. Made me feel less worried about the course due to my anxiety. The course is also great value for money. Would definetly recommend.

Had a great time being enlightened, taking a drink drive rehabilitation course, gained so much know and awareness...I highly recommend! So happy I made the decision to take this course! Turning a better leaf!

Had a very relaxed drive. No pressure. Completed the drive without any major issues. Alan Ross, my examiner, was very helpful and encouraging. Constructive comments when required. I would thoroughly recommend doing this driving standard review.

I entered the course very nervous and totally unsure what to expect. Would it be an old grey man called Percy who would judge you with fire and brimstone??

No!!! Sarah was absolutely fantastic right from the off! Really friendly and relaxed - a bit stern in places, but that was part of the cause!

Over the three days I feel I’ve learnt a lot of information which will stand me on good stead for the future.

The course was useful and made me realise a lot of things regarding drink driving. Sarah was a brilliant trainer who covered everything to teach us how important it is not to drink drive. I had a nice group who were very engaging and helpful. Would recommend this course to everyone because not everyone is giving a second chance as things could have been worse. Highly recommend IAM Roadsmart to all

This course has been a massive eye opener. I have found the stats unbelievable and also very sad the consequences of others to innocent people. I am so grateful and relived to of not hurt anyone. The ban is small punishment for the stupidity. I am certain I will never drink let alone drink drive again. The trainer Sarah is lovely and really thorough. I wont be back here again but wish everyone on the course success and safe driving for the future.

When I decided to do this course I did not know what to expect, I was very anxious and quite worried and wasn’t sure how I would feel talking about my experience but we were all in the same boat so I’m so glad I did, the course itself was so interesting & educational .Emma who ran the course was lovely, helpful and really put your mind at ease and the rest of the group who were a mix of ages and backgrounds were a joy to work with. I’ll be honest I had no idea about a lot of the stuff we learnt however I do now and feel what I’ve learnt will stay with me for life. I can’t be more grateful and hope to never be in this situation again .
I would recommend this course wholeheartedly.

I truly thought that the course would be a massive lecture and 'telling off' where in fact, there was no judgment, the course tutor was excellent and in no way patronising, just very open, kind and honest. The course involved lots of interaction but there was no pressure to participate in opening up about what led to our convictions, we all did that freely. The group were amazing, all with very different stories and from different walks of life. There was one individual who was very disruptive and she left the group and for that I am thankful as the experience from then was so enjoyable. I have taken so much from this course, so much knowledge, information which was provided by Emma who was a real star throughout, she is certainly an asset to your company. I have learnt so much and it has really made me evaluate and reflect. I would recommend this course to anyone and actually believe it should be mandatory before anyone is given a license. Amazing experience.

Now aged 75 shortly 76 and thought I should have an assessment. Thankfully all OK with very helpful comments from Mike. Well worth the money, time spent etc. Thanks Mike for your encouraging report.
