Dear Mr Steve,
Thank you very much for your valuable feedback posted on our social media. However, after checking with the team, we couldn't find any such queries in our system. We had already requested more information, but you didn't respond. We will wait another 7 days for your response. Otherwise, we have to escalate this to our cybersecurity team and the NCSC and seek legal advice by tracking the IP, as this could be a fake review and you are trying to ruin our reputation. More than 7000 people have enquired with us, but no one has raised this issue before, and in our records we could not trace any queries from you.
I encourage you to share your details so that we can have a look, or we have to take legal advice for staining our business reputation.

Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. We apologise for the delay in our internal investigation. After a thorough review, we found that since day one, you have refused to share your bank account details, which indicates that the payment was made from the same account. As a regulated business, we must adhere to certain procedures.

You may be aware that many of our service users are vulnerable individuals, and it is our moral duty to protect their financial interests. After issuing you the refund cheque, we noticed that you attempted to cash it multiple times. As a fraud protection measure, our bank, NatWest, blocked that payment.

Following your email evidence, we contacted NatWest, which took some time to confirm the transaction internally. Upon receiving their confirmation, we processed the refund on the same day.

I understand that, from your perspective, it may seem the delays originated on our side. However, if you review our communications, you will see that it took you nearly four months to provide the bank statement. The refund was issued as part of our standard process, not as a response to your threat of legal action.

We sincerely regret that you had to go through this frustrating experience. Unfortunately, many financial scams affect vulnerable individuals, so we must prioritise protecting our service users and their financial interests.

I hope this clarifies our process and the reasons behind the delay. We have all the evidence supporting our claim, and if you are interested, we can share it with you.
