I called Home Serve on May 29, 2026 and was told that they would get somene out on June 16, 17 or 18. I suspected a leak. Three week too long to wait to get a leak looked at. I declined that date. They called back and set up June 1 at 9:00 am. The Plummer called at 8:30 am and cancelled with an emergency. Set up an appointment for Tuesday June 2 without me confirming. I had to cancel an appointment. I am very disappointed with Home Serve and am thinking seriously about cancelling. Inside plimming does not cover faucets.

Anytime I needed help, you responded timely. The one downfall is I do not get to pick the provider for service. Some bad experiences with some contractors, others great. I wish we had a way to choose who does our work.

I file the claim on Saturday and was told my AI that someone would contact me within 4 hours. I did not get the call or text. I called again on Sunday and was told my appt was set for Monday between 10 & 2pm the tech did not arrive until 4:45. I spent the whole day waiting for the tech.

Sam showed up this afternoon and did find where the water was leaking from! I'm still not convinced that the 1 Inch Water Line is in Stable Condition after one of the fittings came off the line connecting to the house water supply line. The Water Line is 35 years old and I'm afraid this Main Water Supply Line is going to break again soon.
Sam told me the Insurance Company will only Fix the Part in the line that either Leaks or is Broken.
We were lucky this time and WE WERE HOME WHEN THE LINE BROKE. I ALSO FOUND OUT FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT THE INSURANCE COMPANY DOES NOT PAY FOR THE WAISTED WATER WHEN THE PIPE BREAKS. A WATER BILL COULD END UP COSTING ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS IN WASTED WATER GOING DOWN THE DRAIN. OH WELL I GUESS THAT'S WHAT LAWYERS ARE FOR!

I was glad to have purchased this warranty. When contacting them without AC they sent it to contractor and they scheduled it the next day. It was scheduled for 11 to 3, they didn’t make it out until 7pm. When they arrived they didn’t a good job and solved my issue of a bad capacitor. I would recommend them to everyone! Thanks again!
