Returned rug but did not get refund. It looks like this company closes then opens in a different name. Beware these scam artists!

Avoid at all costs! Ordered a rug on 13th March 2024 - now 6th August and I’ve been chasing them for an update with no response only to find the website is shut down. That’s over £100 that I won’t get back!

I ordered a Monaco Rug for £83.99. Although the rug was of good quality, it did not go with my decor so i immediately returned it. After two months, I had to chase for a refund and £14,00 was deducted for ‘tax’. I have sent several requests asking for an explanation as to what this ‘tax’ is but have received no response. This is a deduction of just under 17%. I will be contacting the FCA regarding this. Future buyers be aware!

I ordered a rug on the 31st march, it wasnt in stock, i waited until june then asked for a refund! They refunded than cancelled the refund 🤬 i complained with paypal who opened a case for them to tell me that homelooks has until 21st of july to reply, i didn’t understand that i had to do anything as there was not an option on paypal, only for 21st to arrive and the case closed! Home looks have stollen £100 of my money and paypal wont refund me! Fuming! Avoid at all cost

I ordered a rug that did not match the decor of my living room. I went through the grueling process of returning. After the thirty days from them receiving the rug back I still had not received the refund minus the postage to return. I contacted them again and they sent a payment to my paypal account only to withdraw it immediately afterwards! I then sent multiple emails with no response and in the end opened a complaint through paypal. The company never responded to them either. In the end paypal refunded me the money. Its taken months though!

I ordered a rug which said despatch would be in 15-45 working days. After emailing to chase for an update, I was offered the opportunity to select an in stock item instead, which is why I am giving two stars. I wanted to wait for my chosen design, and actually waited well over the quoted 45 working days, before emailing twice more to ask for updates and then having to choose an alternative design rug anyway, with ongoing manufacturing issues quoted as the reason my original order couldn’t be fulfilled. I think this is very poor service, and misleading to advertise and take orders that won’t be fulfilled, especially as my credit card was charged straight away upon placing the order, not months later when an item was actually supplied. The alternative rug is ok, or at least I hope it will be when the kinks have settled. I was surprised it was delivered folded instead of rolled, and wouldn’t have ordered had I known this.

Needed to return the items, no response from them after following their contact process for 2 weeks, then they arranged a courier, who did not turn up (no contact from DX, waited in all day), since then, another 2 weeks, no response to my emails, Messenger or contact form.

Need to return and homelooks have failed to reply to any of my messages avoid this company at all costs

Very poor customer service. It's impossible to return if you change your mind. Send a message to cancel my order before it was dispatched. No response. The order was delivered and I request to return the item. No response to date.

The rug itself was perfect, just what we wanted and at a very decent price considering its size.

The ordering process was really simple and easy and delivery quick.

However, the rug was folded several times instead of rolled when packaged and dispatched - guessing to save on postage costs. This has meant that the rug hasn’t laid flat on the floor and has various lumps and bumps which may take a while to flatten out. It’s not a deal breaker but I would have expected it to have arrived rolled even if there was an additional charge for postage to accommodate the size of the parcel.

Easy to view on website with pictures of different views to get a full vision of rug. Must be mind full that photos do alter colouring slightly and this rug had a bit more brown than it looked but still beautiful design. Quick delivery and lovely soft rug. Very happy with purchase.

Purchased the Amsterdam rug, arrived promptly. Returned rug as colours are nothing like the web page (I appreciate pictures are difficult on web) but these were so bright it did not match my decor. Requested Home Looks arrange collection, which they did on 24/04/2024 & receipt confirmation by Home Looks on 25/04/2024. On the 10/05/2024 I sent an email requesting my credit (less collection costs) I received a rather stern email stating T&C state I will have to wait 30 days from my credit.
Very unhappy with the customer service received.
