85% of the leads Angi sold could not contact. The pricing for those leads were never disclosed in the initial sales pitch. We were promised 12-20 leads per month and we never never given more than 11. Of the leads we were able to contact and close with were all for jobs that fell well outside the type of jobs I was paying for. We paid for panel upgraded and ev chargers and instead received small maintenance requests like fixing a lamp and trouble shooting power issues. We are extremely dissatisfied and when I canceled my subscription they charged us a cancelation fee of several thousands dollars. We feel they defrauded us with false sales claims that they could provide quality leads. We made $400 in gross revenue from those leads at the cost of over $6000. That is not a great rate of return.

I DO NOT recommend using Angi Leads! They scam you with a 12 month contract, and then provide you with fake leads and states to use the number they provide with an ext number that they NEVER give to you. When you do get through to the lead they have no idea why you called them because they NEVER requested that service. It a waste of time and MONEY! Plus if you cancel early you have to pay a 35% of the contract!

They don't qualify their leads. I asked the sales lady for 30 minutes if they verified if they are real leads and she kept promising they did. Well we've had several people calling seeking employment, and then we requested our credit back Angi denied our request. Now they are demanding us to pay over 2k to cancel our contract.

This is by far the worst app I’ve used in the history of apps. While Thumbtack may be more expensive, it’s a million times better in terms of quality and results. I’ve been with your platform for over six months and haven’t received a single lead. The experience has been incredibly disappointing, and the customer support hasn’t helped either. Very poor service.”

What went Wrong with Angi / Home Advisors.
1. Quality of leads- After 85 days I received 50 to 60 leads. The most of them were fake or dead leads. Some out of state and out of country.
2. Most leads do not call back
3. A lot of leads have all ready be accomplished
4. Majority of leads were not aligned with my scope
5. Large portion of leads were price shoppers
6. The company placed a lot of blame on the consumer for their system not set up right
7. I canceled my account do to the fact they could not provide me with verified leads of which they promised me were verified.
8. After canceling my account they did go ahead and charge me a termination fee of $968.00 I had to cancel the card and transfer my money to another account until the new card arrives as they keep sending me bad customers

I recently worked with a representative from Angie named Chris. During our conversation, I spoke with two gentlemen who were both heavily pushing for our company to commit to a year-long contract at nearly $1,000 per month. When I inquired about the possibility of canceling the service if it didn't work for us, Chris quickly became defensive and stated that Angie typically doesn't allow cancellations, though he mentioned they might offer a partial refund depending on the situation.

After discussing it further with my business partner, we decided not to move forward. When Chris followed up to see if we planned to proceed, I politely informed him that we would be declining at this time. His response was a long message essentially implying that we were making a mistake and stating that he would now offer a discount to one of our competitors, Molly Maid. The tone of his message came across as petty and unprofessional, as if he was trying to provoke a reaction.

This experience only reinforced our decision not to partner with Angie. We expect professionalism from the platforms we work with, and unfortunately, this interaction did not reflect that. Our company will be pursuing other platforms that better align with our values and business approach.

Angie leads is truly a scam at its best!
I spent $750 for $1000 worth of credit for leads have only been able to reach three people over the course of a month there is no transparency with this company. They do not even give you the phone number of your lead that you have paid for and they said I spent $1300 for these bogus leads! Whatever you do, do not, I repeat do not give these scam artists your money! This has been a horrible experience! They refuse to refund, even though they know they are lying!

Do not use Angi. I've been watching my husband make call after call to potential leads and having zero luck securing jobs. The leads are bogus and Angi locks you into a contract unable for you to cancel without having to pay out the entire amount.

Terrible experience. Avoid. Deceptive practices and shady. Leads are fake. Don't believe a word they say. The salesperson will ghost you after you sign. They could not care less about your success. Did everything I was asked to do and still nothing. Got calls but no one answered and NEVER get back to you. Countless calls, texts, emails, etc. to clients and no response. Its all a scam. Beware!

Scams got one lead in one year maybe two.
No customer replys after you contact them. They say the leads only go to you. Even if they do they dont exist. One customer said the job was done a year ago. Don't trust them

Angie has been one of the most frustrating platforms I've worked with. They send fake or completely irrelevant leads,many people I contacted said they never even requested the service. Despite clearly outlining my business scope, I kept getting charged for leads that had nothing to do with my work.
What makes it worse is the customer service. Representatives repeat the same scripted lines without listening, and when you ask for a supervisor, the response is shockingly unprofessional and rude. Instead of helping, supervisors come across as defensive and dismissive. Their email communication is just as bad—cold, careless, and totally lacking in basic customer service standards.
Do not lock yourself into a contract with them. It’s been a waste of time and money. I can’t wait to finish my contract and move on.

They charge us for leads for things we do not even do! Then we call for credit and then because this even in our scope of work they would not give us credit. They charge you for nothing. That is just throwing money out the window. What a horrible company.

I am absolutely appalled by Angi leads and their complete failure to honor their agreement. They promised qualified leads but only delivered terrible, non-qualified leads that were a complete waste of my time and money. On top of that, when I tried repeatedly to reach out and cancel due to their poor service, they ignored every attempt to communicate. Then, despite failing to uphold their end of the deal, they slapped me with an astronomical cancellation fee—something I absolutely should NOT have to pay when THEY didn’t honor their part of the agreement. Their customer service is nonexistent, their leads are garbage, and their business practices are downright shady. I strongly advise anyone considering Angi leads to look elsewhere—this was one of the worst business experiences I’ve ever had.

Do not use Angi Leads. If you try and cancel, they charge you over $1,000 dollars. This is of course something they won't mention at the signup.

Dont even inquire with them cause that will get you on their list and they will call numerous times a month even when you ask them to stop calling. They use a phone bank so its a different phone number every time. They promise you the moon but they are not the ones who qualify the call, their customer is. So you will still get leads for types of work you dont do. The last couple reps who have called me have gotten pretty snarky with me too.

I want to leave a review for Angie. Leads home advisor pro I am a contractor and I started paying for Angie leads to get jobs. I made an initial $500 deposit for Leeds. And they gave me $300 credit or something. After that, so I think I had a total of $800 in lead. Before I even started so they started sending me jobs. I'd say about ninety percent of the jobs were flakes. And the job that I did get.I couldn't charge the customers enough to even pay for the lead service. With $800 starting credit.Within 2 weeks I racked up a $1300 bill with them.And I only made about five hundred dollars from the jobs day that I actually got. Now they're threatening me charging me two thousand dollars for I don't know what. False promises. Unethical behavior.

Angi’s sales rep rushed me into a 12-month contract, promising I’d get furniture assembly leads. After signing, I found out they don’t even offer that service anymore. When I asked for a refund, they delayed, disconnected calls, and sent me a $2,646 cancellation notice.

They took $630 for nothing.
I’ve filed complaints with the FTC and Florida Attorney General.
Total scam — stay away.

Angi leads is a complete scam. More than half of the ‘leads’ I received I was unable to contact and I still pay for it.

If I could rate 0, I would. This company is an absolute scam. I was told by the women who signed me up that I would be getting leads for one thing, and that there was no issues. She ended up putting me under leads for something completely different. The next day I tried to cancel, she said leave it with her and she would fix it. She kept saying this to me for 10 days, saying it just takes time, etc. But, I would be getting leads for the correct thing and that I just needed to wait for my onboarding call and everything would be fine. Once I was out of my time to cancel, the onboarding team called me to tell me that I couldn't get leads for what I thought I was signing up for. I've been trying to cancel ever since. I was told I would beed to pay the $329 a month for the leads regardless because that was the contract. Then, come June 1st I could cancel. I called June 1st. Surprise surprise! I couldn't cancel! I still needed to pay 30% of what I owed. I wasn't told this either. I called customer service who took all the text messages from me showing that the women promised me one thing, and never fulfilled. That I wanted to cancel the next day but she said she would fix it, etc. They sent it off for investigation. I was told in 3 business days I would have my decision. 7 days later, a women called me to say "Did you want to cancel your account?" I had to reexplain everything. She said the last person I talked to didn't start an investigation and there was nothing in my file or notes to say why I was cancelling. I sent her the email trail from the previous person saying that it would be 3 days, sent her all the text, etc. It's now been over a month and still, not heard back from a 'supervisor'. It's an absolute scam. I'm now dealing with lawyers and instead of trying to cancel the account, I am now looking to get my money back for the fraudulent item they sold.
