Sales guys will tell you something and contract obviously say something else .
There sales person will tell you that the home owner is choosing you first, yeah ,and four others are getting the same call.
All four contractors are getting charge for the same lead .Nothings change
You will also get false leads that don’t include your field .
Totally not organize .
Save your money

Sales man promise high quality and very specific leads for my field of work. Leads are very vaguely detailed and none had anything to do with my work scope. 90% of the costumer would not even answer when called. Feels more like a scam then a legitimate business. You must call them to cancel your subscription and when I did they gave me the run around and transferred me to three different people. Finally I demanded they cancel it. Unless your a handy man willing to do any random little thing Angie is not for you!

Absolutely horrible. A few years ago it was useful but now I promise you'll spend more money on all the fake leads than you'll make from the few jobs you get. IT COSTS YOU MORE THAN YOU'LL GET! Ive actually gotten over 50 5 star reviews over the years but am exteremly close to just deleing it all together. The only reason i keep it is for when I'm absolutely desperate for work and even then its starting to be more of a financial liability. ADVOID THIS LIKE THE PLAGUE, I REPEAT YOU WILL LOOSE MORE THAN YOU GAIN WITH THIS PIECE OF SHIT APP.

I am a service provider buying leads from this company. They are dishonest, lie, and are so close to operating a fraudulent business. if I treated my customers the way Angi treats its service providers the state Attorney General in my state would shut us down and prosecute us.

And Angi doesn't care. They promised me a call from a manager. Still waiting after a week.

To say they have zero ethics and operate fraudulenly is an understatement

Angi Leads is a scam.
We own a cleaning business and we made a contract with Angi, paying $350.00/month for 13-17 leads, and the leads would be given to 3 other contractors in the area.
1. The leads are given to 20+ contracts in the area
2. They send us scammers, fake leads. Angi claims that they have no responsibility to verify their leads.
3.They charge for the same lead more than once.
4.They dont send the ammount of leads they promised.
5.They take 0 responsibility for their poor service and lack of quality.

DONT USE ANGI!

I’m a contractor for Angi, this company rips off good contractors. We have a 5 star rating with Angi dating back to 2020 when it was home advisor. We were assured they’ve changed since becoming Angi… they have not. They Charge us $200 average for a client lead that’s empty, or sent me leads during non business hours then charged me for them citing I did not call back within the 1hr time frame I was contracted to. Brothers In Arms Construction LLC 5 star angi reviews, 4.8 google reviews, 5 star Yelp reviews… Veteran Owned and operated. Taken advantage of.

Terrible!!!! Run don't trust Angi list. They charged me for leads when I didn't even get the job. I think they have people working for them to act like a potential customer just to get you to read their request so they can't charge you. It's a set up that's my opinion and that's why I will no longer be using angi list. Total Rip off

Not worth a contractors time for our line of work. Leads are terrible, overpriced per lead charge. I’d steer clear and look into something different. Customer support is a total failure as well. Here is some helpful material to contractors: Google or search the lawsuit they had to pay in 2023.

I recently switched my pool service company 3 months ago to Pinnacle Pool Service and I am so glad that I made that move. Pinnacle does a great job cleaning my pool. They are very consistent with their schedule. The pool guy always takes his time with cleaning my pool and always leaves it clean and no mess. The water is always clear and no sight of algae. I definitely would recommend Pinnacle Pool Service to my friends and relatives.

Tried them for a second time when I relocated to Dallas, Tx. from Atlanta, Ga. Same ole same ole, but even worse. Now the leads you get don't even have why the customer filled out a request to be contacted! Instead of showing what the customer wants, it says "contact this customer for more information" Of course, when you call, you get no answer. Text and email are equally non responsive. If you contact Angi, since they can't reach the customer either, they deny your request for credit because they can't verify with the customer any information! What a scam! I cancelled the service last month and will never use them again. Don't waste your money, because you will not get any return on your investment. I basically wanted them for the ratings for potential customers to see I do good work and have a great reputation. I can live without the aggravation.

Been with them for almost 5 years and they are not worth it. I get leads in the middle of the night and all weekend and since I dont work on Sunday its past the 24hr deadline. I call the lead and its a bogus lead, they dont even need electrical work. but Angi wont credit you back. In the almost five years I would almost say i have spent more on crap leads then I have made with the company. Crooks, keep your monty and advertise elsewhere.

I RECEIVED A BATHROOM & HALLWAY FLOOR ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF MY HOME. IT WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY BY NATIONAL FLOORS DIRECT OF WHICH I'VE HAD FLOORS DONE BY THEM PREVIOUSLY AS WELL. THEY'RE PROFESSIONALISM ON THE PHONE B4 THE JOB GETS DONE IS EXCEPTIONALLY COMFORTING FOR BUSINESS. THEY INFORM U AS TO EVERYTHING U NEED TO KNOW IN ADVANCE B4 THE WORKERS ARRIVE TO UR HOME. WHEN THE WORKERS ARRIVE EVERYTHING IS CARRIED OUT ACCORDING TO WHAT THE OFFICE PREPARED ME FOR WITH THE ENTIRE JOB. THE FLOORS CAME OUT BEAUTIFULLY & THE WORKERS CLEANED UP EVERYTHING AFTER THEY WERE DONE. I WILL DEFINITELY CONTACT NATIONAL FLOORS DIRECT AGAIN FOR FUTURE JOBS IN MY HOME & I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND NATIONAL FLOORS DIRECT TO ANYONE LOOKING TO GET A HARD OR CARPET FLOOR INSTALLED INDEED.

Total scam. Originally told I would get at least 3 leads a day. Got two leads in one month that weren't in my line of work. They wouldn't let me cancel and kept charging my card. Just got an email saying I owe them an additional 448 dollars. Tried to cancel 4 different times. I have Wells Fargo investigating them for fraud now

This is a scam! I caution any small business owner from taking this bait. They promise to send you leads to improve your chances of getting more work, but they don't even have to send you leads that are related to what your company does. They also refuse to give you back any of the money you pay in even if it is unused. If a customer finds your number and calls you directly then it isn't "valid" because they can't track the call times. They currently have $800 of mine that they refuse to return and said I can only use to get new leads in the future and even if I close my account they do not refund the money that's in my account, they just keep it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. As a masonry business we got the following leads: cabinetry, concrete footers, moving furniture, outdoor wood stove installation, pilot lights being out, etc. Learn from my mistakes and don't be scammed out of your hard earned money.

This company uses misleading tactics and constant harassment to get your business/money… They give leads to 3-4 contractors at once, which forces us to compete against each other but they also charge every contractor $100-$300 per lead doesn’t matter if you win the job or not. Most of the leads I have received can’t afford it or go with the cheapest option. Let’s stop supporting people or companies that make it a struggle for us to become successful. This is absolutely the wrong company to use for jobs. YOU WILL GO BROKE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY FROM YOU.

Contracted for snow removal on driveway was quoted price, and said pro would be available following day. Called Angi next morning and advised service not needed Sun had already removed snow so cancel request. Found out later they had charged my account for the service. Called requested refund for charges, advised could only refund 50% since over 30 days. Supervisor not available. will complain to BBB

No hagan ningún acuerdo con esta empresa, son como dicen en muchos comentarios ESTAFADORES!!, te hacen firmar un contrato donde supuestamente te envían un volumen de leads de los cuales nunca nadie responde y el otro por ciento son de bajísimo valor, como dice un comentario más arriba, una vez que quieres cerrar su contrato pues estás pagando por NADA, te quieren cobrar un 35% del resto del contrato, pues dicen que ellos solo hacen advertising, que ellos no garantizan la calidad de estos leads, mi consejo, busquen e investiguen, no se afilien con ellos, no vale la pena, vas a terminar perdiendo dinero.

Worst company ever! It really is too bad because this company could make money hand over fist actually providing the service they claim to. Unfortunately, potential customers "AKA Leads" are tricked into clicking on fauls pages that sign them up as a so called 'Lead" that we as contractors are charged anywhere from $50-$100.00. In most cases unsuspecting home owners are just looking for some general information; like possible cost or "how long" a project will take. Instead, these people are put on a list as a "qualified leads" and we are wasting our time because the "Lead" does not even know they have been put into the system and are pissed off for getting multiple calls that they did not solicit
Also, there is a so-called process for getting credit for a bad lead; however, the company only gives you like 4 or 5 boxes you can check as a possible reason for a refund on a bad lead. Like" wrong zip code"; it is just foolish and set up to make sure you do not get credit. I would be lucky to get 1 legitimate lead from every 30 requests I get; costing me $900.00 to $3000.00 for these fake leads. I hope somebody starts a class action lawsuit against these guys; these people are corrupt and are simply out for your hard-earned money.
