Had no communication since I ordered & it said it was out for delivery ages ago & still had nothing or no delivery, just not been happy with the service at all

I had a great experience with HD Brows, the online learning platform was really accessible and easy to use. There was lots of information and the training online and in person was very thorough.
The training day was really intimate which I thought was good, so lots of guidance and support from the instructor too. I am really enjoying using the products, and my clients love the results.

Slight blip, but all good

Ordering was easy and streamline. I didn’t receive a delivery notification this time, which led to my order being say in the rain and getting wet and retail product packaging was damaged. I had to call HD to be told my order had been delivered. Had I not called, I wouldn’t have known.
This is the first time this has happened and was more frustrating than anything. It was random occurrence. Usually ordering process is very good.

Yorkshire HD Brows training

I attended the HD Brows training in Yorkshire this week and paid over £1,500 for the HD brow course, HD lamination course, and the starter kit for each. I scheduled both training sessions on the same day: HD Brows in the morning and lamination in the afternoon. Although I received reminder texts about the course dates, there was no communication from HD regarding whether I needed to bring the kits with me or not. I brought them just in case, but it turns out you don't need to; everything is provided.

The morning session went well. The trainer was friendly, professional, and patient. However, I feel that a practical demonstration on the trainer's own model would have been very beneficial. It was extremely daunting to go straight to waxing eyebrows after only watching a video. Additionally, some key details were missed in the training videos and weren't explained to me until I was already in the application process.

FYI - If you book two courses, you cannot use the same model for both. This was NOT communicated to me beforehand. I brought my friend as a model, only to be informed just before the second course that I needed a different model. Fortunately, the salon was able to find a model they regularly use for patch testing, but I should have been informed ahead of time that I needed a separate model for each course.

If you're considering booking both the HD Brows course AND the lamination course, don't. Just book the brow lamination course, as it includes everything from the HD Brow course. The only difference is the use of the lamination product, which is just a sachet of cream. Beyond that, there is no significant difference. I feel extremely cheated and ripped off.

I can't justify paying all that money when the only difference between the two training courses is so minimal. If I could get a refund for one of the courses, I would, because paying for virtually the same course twice is unacceptable.

Additionally, I am disappointed that I paid full price for both training course, only to find out there is now a 20% sale on the same courses.

Would I recommend the training? Since I have no other eyebrow training to compare it to, it's a difficult question to answer. I feel I paid a lot of money mainly to have the HD brand in my salon. Having access to buy HD products at cost price and being able to purchase HD promotional materials for my salon is beneficial. However, I am very disappointed with the lack of personalized communication before the training date and that I paid so much money for two courses that were virtually the same.

BEWARE

BEWARE! Their practical apparently has no value! Why? Because they refused to refund any payment after I didn’t find the theoretical bit of any use and contacted them before the practical for a refund/partial refund. Asked for money back under 14 day money back guarantee and they refused and pointed to a bit of text in their T&C. If they were confident of the quality of their course this wouldn’t be their behavior.
Writing a review here after receiving no reply from the company.

HD brows have threatened me via email over leaving a negative review.

“…a review that is based on truth or honest opinion is permissible. For example, if a customer had a bad experience at a restaurant and left a negative review based on that experience, as long as the review does not go too far, the reviewer is likely to have a complete defence to any claim being pursued against them.”

Waste of money

I attended the HD Brows course on June 12th and have since then sent a complaint on the feedback sheet that I was sent after the course I have waited what I consider to be a long enough time to be contacted in response to that complaint hence this review as to this date I have received no response from the company.
I did not find this course to be worth the cost during the practical side of the course the trainer replayed a lot of the videos that made up the theory part of the course at home!! We played cahoot all questions again from the theory part of the course which I had already passed so in my opinion this was a time filling lazy exercise
I asked a question about threading which the trainer responded to by saying I haven’t got time to go through that you will have to practice at home but she seemed to have time to chat to some Italian attendees ?
The end of the training was rushed the trainer turned off my light before I could take photographs of my model for my portfolio. We were not taught how to use the finishing products which make up a large part of the kit so if this was a first time course for anyone it is pretty low standard and very expensive for an on line module and a 4 hour practical in which you cannot ask questions and get any help
