We're also releasing some new features which will allow candidates such as yourself to take a more proactive approach when job searching vs the current more passive/reactive approach as I appreciate it can feel a little jarring.

Thanks for the feedback on this, for a long time on hackajob our approach has been to allow companies to apply to candidates.
However, we appreciate this can feel a little jarring, and can lack transparency - often your profile has been reviewed, but because a request wasn't sent, and the review wasn't communicated it feels like nothing has happened.
I'm pleased to announce we are currently building out a new flow for applying which for the first time allows the candidate to make the first move, this should have a huge impact on candidate experience and give you, and others, more agency.

It's a good setup
It's a good setup. Unlike the usual sites like cwjobs where you're just sending applications into a void, you know that if a company asks to speak to you that they genuinely have a role and appreciate your CV.
I've found my last two jobs via Hackajob, and - although I hope that my latest job is where I'll stay for a long time - if I ever have to look again I'll be heading straight back to hackajob.

I can assure you any role we advertised on LinkedIn will have been Live on the platform.
The way things work on hackajob is that companies apply to you vs you applying to them, so while the role will have existed it is possible the company didn't send you a request.
However, we do recognise this experience can be a bit jarring for candidates such as yourself where you see a role and can't then put yourself forward.
We'll soon be releasing a new flow which allows candidates to apply immediately if you match the role/will at least explain why you don't match the role to ensure everything is transparent and up front.

Thanks for getting in touch on this, I can see the roles you were requested for were paused by the company before you were able to respond.
Typically roles will be open for at least 7 days allowing for plenty of time to respond but in some instances where a role is very popular it can close more quickly than this, with this in mind we always recommend keeping an eye on your emails so you can get your response in nice and quickly.
However, all is not lost, you'll be back in the match list to be requested for any suitable roles added by J.P. Morgan or any other clients, and missing out on these particular ones won't jeopardise your chances for any upcoming roles.
