Great experience and right support
They are able to provide eye-opening…
They are able to provide eye-opening positions. They are well-matched with my skill sets.
This was a complete waste of time and…
This was a complete waste of time and felt borderline deceptive.
Hackajob contacted me on LinkedIn about a paid project. I explicitly told them I live in Europe (and my LinkedIn clearly shows it). They still pushed me through the process, I completed the task, submitted it, and it was accepted.
Then—only after acceptance—when I tried to sign the contract to get more tasks and get paid, the platform threw an error. That’s when I discovered the project apparently doesn’t provide contracts for people outside the USA.
So let me get this straight: you’re happy to invite me, take my time, accept my work… and only then you reveal I can’t proceed? That’s not a “small mistake,” that’s incompetent at best and shady at worst.
If you’re not in the US, don’t touch this unless you want to donate free labor and get stuck in system errors.
Note:
What makes this worse is how you handled the feedback. Before replying, you tried multiple times to get this review removed (first as "defamatory," then "harmful/illegal," then claiming it was for a different business). When that didn't work, you posted a response that basically says "not our fault" because it was a partner's project. But you contacted me, you pushed me through the process, and your platform/relationship enabled the situation. If you can't verify basic eligibility (like country restrictions) and you try to suppress criticism instead of fixing the issue, that’s not "matching candidates to roles"—it’s careless at best and misleading at worst. Own it, reimburse people's time when your pipeline fails, and stop attempting to game the review system. Right now, this looks less like a hiring service and more like a funnel that wastes candidates' time with zero accountability.

So far so good
Paradigm shifting in jobseekers favour
A great service to let employers find you and invite you for roles available
Senior Full-Stack Developer
I’ve been working as a full-stack developer for about eight years now. Most of my work has been with Node.js and React. I’ve led projects from start to finish, building both the backend and frontend. For the backend, I use Node.js with Express or NestJS, and for the frontend, I use React with TypeScript.
At CVS Health, I worked on big web apps that needed to handle a lot of users at once. I built APIs, managed databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and set up cloud stuff on AWS. I also made sure the apps were secure, using JWT and OAuth for authentication.
I’m used to working with teams, doing code reviews, mentoring junior devs, and following best practices like writing tests and setting up CI/CD. I enjoy solving tough problems, making apps faster, and keeping my code clean and easy to maintain.
A very good platform to latch onto it…
A very good platform to latch onto it job seamlessly.
Platform to be seen by employers
I appreciate the fact that I do not need to chase the employers, rather your platform gave the opportunity to be seen and chased.
Just the job !
It's an easy platform to use. You have to be attentive to alerts you get when potential employers express an interest but that's easy to manage. I would encourage anyone using it to put in as much relevant detail as possible as that's what you're being matched against.
Got nowhere with this site
Got nowhere with this site, got some companies wanting me to apply, so applied and they rejected me haha!

I have over 5 years of experience in…
I have over 5 years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML systems, and scalable cloud architecture, with a focus on designing end-to-end pipelines and intelligent data products that support analytics, automation, and machine learning. My work typically involves transforming raw, high-volume data into reliable, production-ready datasets and models that directly support business needs.
I’ve built workflows that include:
Data ingestion and orchestration across distributed systems
ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark, Airflow, dbt, and event-driven architectures
Model lifecycle management, feature engineering, and MLOps
Optimization for performance, cost, and reliability in the cloud
I’m also comfortable working cross-functionally — gathering requirements, translating them into technical design, collaborating with product and business teams, and owning delivery from development through deployment and monitoring.
Across my roles, I’ve been driven by three things:
Solving complex technical challenges
Building systems that scale instead of just working short-term
Delivering solutions that create measurable impact for users or the business
I enjoy both hands-on implementation and strategic thinking, and I thrive in environments where learning, collaboration, and innovation are encouraged.
I had a great experience from start to finish.
My overall experience was excellent. I truly appreciate the quality of service they provided.
All good!!!
