A very helpful experience. The manager spent a great deal of time explaining things, but also left me and my guitar tech alone to try out various guitars. The final purchase was very generous.

I ordered a custom National guitar through Guitar Village, and couldn't have been more impressed. All the staff I spoke to were knowledgeable and helpful, but a special mention to Adam - the best customer experience I've had in a guitar shop!

My latest purchase from the Village has been a Les Paul Junior. I actually went in to try a few second hands, but ended up coming home with the LPJ. Very helpful staff and though I haven't used it this time, I've always found the after sales free set up to be really useful. I was also really grateful that I got the LPJ at the BGMS 10% off rather than the full price a day early. That was great honesty by them and it's a privilege to go in again and again for repeat custom. That said, better not buy anymore as I'm running out of room at my house....

I was looking at Roger Mayer pedals and as far as I can tell, Guitar Village is the only retailer that has had Roger Mayer himself come in for an extensive interview (which is out on YouTube, btw). I felt like they would be able to ensure good inventory of Roger Mayer stuff, and they had the things I was looking for, indeed (Visage 45, Octavia, Voodoo Vibe +). Shipping to Malaysia was super quick too, but shipping cost was a bit on the high side.

Ordered a new guitar a few days ago (late in the afternoon) and it arrived today. The packaging was a thing if beauty. There was lots and lots of padding everywhere. Guitar was in perfect order and had been packed with the strings detuned (well done for that) and additional padding within the case to protect the headstock and neck. The guitar is excellent and I am very pleased with it but the attention to detail with regards to getting the guitar to me in perfect condition is the best I have seen.
