HAVE BEEN WAITING 2 MONTHS MARCH AND JUNE. I HAVE NOT HEARD NOTHING BACK FROM GOLDEN CORRAL IN STOCKBRIDGE. I PUT 2 APPLICATIONS IN : 1 @ THE RESTAURANT~{ PAPER } & THE OTHER ON INDEED~{ COMPUTER } I HAVE NOT HEARD NOTHING YET FROM THE OWNER. I WAS TRYING TO GET A SERVER/WAITRESS JOB PART~TIME. BUT I WILL RETURN TO THE RESTAURANT EVERY TIME FOR THE FOOD AND THE CAKES AND THE OTHER DESSERTS.

GC DouglasvilleGa. The nastiest place I’ve ever seen for a food place. Everything was out on the buffet and what was there was cold and unfit to eat. The tea was very weak and the water had more flavor. It took us nearly 10 minutes to find a clean table because over half was filled with dirty dishes. Never again

Lots of Choices, But Quality Varies

I’ve visited Golden Corral a few times, and there are things I really like and some things that could be better.

The best part is the variety — there’s something for everyone, from salads and hot meals to desserts. It’s great if you’re with family or a big group. The price is also fair for how much food you get.

However, the food quality can be different depending on when you go. Sometimes it’s fresh and tasty, other times it feels like it’s been sitting out too long. It can also get a bit crowded and noisy, especially on weekends.

Overall, it’s a good place for a casual meal with lots of options, but don’t expect fine dining.

The HORRIBLE Mother's Day Incident (True Story!)

Good Day all. You must read in its entirety to get the full experience. Please forgive me - this IS the short version! It occurred on Mother's Day, 5/11/25 (of ALL days) I was invited to attend a gathering at GC (Golden Corral) this particular extremely busy afternoon.

First, I called the GC store 6 times before arriving at the location - no one ever answered the phone (OK, a busy day). When I arrived, I begged the manager to allow me to sit with my ten-member party which included children; and made arrangements to keep my "To Go" order ($34.32) behind the front counter as I sat at the dining table.
While there, I ate NOTHING, drank NOTHING, as GC staff checked every 2 mins to be sure that I didn't.

I was finally asked to leave approx. 20 mins after visiting with family. The mgr. told me that I could continue to visit IF I paid an additional $23.99 just to sit there.

Since I didn't want to pay more than the $34.32 I'd already paid, I went to the front counter to retrieve the packaged food that was waiting there behind the counter. That same mgr. REFUSED to give me the food that I purchased, saying that I didn't ask for it properly, the way he wanted me to ask for it.

GC's entire staff refused to give me my purchase and told me that I had to leave without it. I waited at the counter, as we went back and forth in this CROWDED (Mother's Day) GC restaurant. I requested my PAID FOR food for over an hour, to no avail. They just WOULD NOT give me the food that I purchased.
By this time, it was utter chaos, and the other patrons waiting in line had begun to chime in, also advising the staff to just give me my food so that I could depart. No deal! They were adamant!

Finally I DID leave as they had requested (without my purchase). As I waited outside the restaurant, after a horrifying and shameful debacle, a member of my party went back in to retrieve my order, and they too were told they COULD NOT have the item that I paid $34.32 for.
P.S. While there, I was cursed by atleast 3 of the staff members (yep, they used the F-bomb) as they interjected their "take" on things.

Additional info: The POLICE were called to the store over this! Since I did nothing wrong, the police suggested that I contact the GC corporate offices to get resolution, as it was a civil matter and was out of their hands.
So without delay, I reached out to GC Corporate offices. To my surprise, I HAVE NOT heard back from them either. I have been calling and leaving a message every day, 2 or 3 times a day since the ordeal. All I've been able to do is leave a message, requesting a refund for services NOT rendered.

Golden Corral does not deserve the business they do. This patron is "former" forever! I wouldn't eat there if I were you. They treated me AND my party horribly; FYI - I wouldn't have believed this story either, if only I hadn't experienced it firsthand. Thank you.

Excellent Service

We went to the Asheboro restaurant! This was my first time doing the breakfast buffet! IT WAS HEAVENLY!!! I had French toast, sausage, eggs with cheese, and hash browns with sausage gravy! I loved the orange passion fruit guava juice! After a short break, I had an ice cream cone! I was too full to make it to the fruit!🙂
The food was fresh, hot and delicious!! Both the manager and the staff provided excellent service!! I really enjoyed the visit! Thank you for a wonderful outing!!🙂

1902 Töwne CentreDr, Mesquite, Tx

I asked cashier a question about the location, since I was from out of town and had never been there. Her reply was “Muy poco English”! I could not believe anyone in business in Texas would have a cashier that could not communicate with English speaking customers ❗️I guess that was the reason I only saw 2 other caucasian customers and NO Caucasian employees during our visit.
I wanted some fish and shrimp and when I found their location, I was disappointed because there was one small piece of fish and three cold shrimp available 👎🏻. There were several employees talking and laughing farther back from the counter but I failed to get their attention 👎🏻❗️
The time was about 5:30pm and I thought that the Dinner rush would be in soon and there would be a priority to have all food containers filled!
I never saw anyone that I thought might be a manager or supervisor.
Numerous food trays were very low or almost empty and I saw very little effort to fill them or clean around the counter tops!
The pizza that my wife tried was hard and dry from setting under the heat lamps I presume. The crab salad was good, but there was a limited amount available! The sweetpotato casserole was very good!
EVENTUALLY the fish and shrimp trays were refilled and then within 5 minutes each were empty again 👎🏻! I waited again until those trays were refilled and again they were empty within 3-5 minutes!
I wanted some chocolate ice cream to wrap up my dinner, but I found that the 3 handled ice cream machine had only 2 working handles and both had a VERY LOW QUALITY vanilla cream👎🏻❗️
We are from the Tyler, Tx area and we visit the Golden Corral on So. Broadway in Tyler regularly and I would RECOMMEND THAT LOCATION TO ANYONE 👍🏻❗️
This Towne Centre location in my opinion, is an embarrassment to the Golden Corral Name❗️If this had been my first visit to a Golden Corral Restaurant, I would NEVER set foot in another Golden Corral ❗️
I do hope that this can be seen from a customer who visits your Establishments across the Country 👍🏻❗️

We went to Golden Corral in Lima Ohio…

We went to Golden Corral in Lima Ohio on Elida rd. and had broccoli and fish and mashed potatoes, all was cold . i spoke with manager and she refunded my money and proceeded to the buffet to check and remove cold food from steam table. I believe retraining of staff may prevent any future complaints .

Golden Corral on 4021 Spencer Highwaty .My mother 86 years old, I, 60 and my cousin 54 years of age visited this restaurant on 4/5/2025.
Terrible customer service. We been visiting Golden Corral for over 35 years, Waitress and General Manager Javier Ornodez assumed we did not pay for one of us, which he argued Infront of customers and it was embarrassing. The error was from the person who charged us, which we did not have no idea. The General Manager never apologized.

I have been calling for 4 days to try and book a party room and all the mailbox are full and I kept letting the phone ring for 20 minutes with no answer I started calling 10 am when they first opened, no matter what time of day I try I get no another answer

I ate there tonight

I ate there tonight. I asked for my steak to be medium rare. But the Hispanic with a mustache kept giving me a rare meat. And when I pointed it out he smacked my finger with the tong. When I asked for a big piece he kept giving me a small piece. I asked him for a bit more and he said I gave you enough. When I started walking out, he opened his mouth smiling like those people in the movie "Smile". Hope Golden Corral quickly replaces him with someone who wants to work there long term.

This was a terrible experience

This was a terrible experience. I use to come here all the time as a kid. I came in and paid 42 bucks toke a few bites of my food before I had to take my child to the bathroom that had shit covered and piss covered toilets I was so upset and even lost my appetite I asked if I could get a refund for not anyone else except myself because I didn't get to eat before being absolutely disgusted. This place has lost it beauty and has gone absolutely down hill.
When I asked for a refund the guy said " nah I seen y'all walking around y'all got plates" I explained I did not eat off mine and he said no so I left.

Terrible Saturday evening 6pm food bar…

Terrible Saturday evening 6pm food bar was trying to get some stake the guy said 15 min. So i came back he was serving everyone in front of me & behind me he seen i was still standing there he said 10 min. i finally got a piece & then he just slung it on my plate half fell off he said oh im sorry .then food bar & salad bar was empty plates was scarce dishes sitting every where in totes & to top it off the WAITRESS DOUBLE DIPPED a customer glass STRAIGHT IN THE ICE BEND I said something to the WAITRESS about it & I went management about it he just looked confused WE LEFT WITH NOTHING TO EAT IT WAS DISGUSTING

The food is okay.

The food is okay, but the restrooms are stinky and dirty. This is every time I go to this restaurant in the Pensacola area. Please clean your restrooms. The lighting is dim as well. It is a saying that the restaurant is as clean as the restrooms. Think about it.

This is my review for a Golden Corral here in Las Vegas Nevada, in my opinion it's one of the best buffet's you can go to, the food is fresh and always good, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable, I don't know why it gets some negative reviews, the Golden Corral here in Vegas is great, I eat here all the time and I've never had a problem with the food or service, I think it's a great place.

Crap

We went here for a family dinner since we had quite a few people in town. There were 10 of us and we had made a reservation for the back room because we were doing a late Christmas. We ended up waiting 20 minutes past our reservation time even though it wasn’t busy AT ALL and there was no one in the back room. They never gave us a reason for the delay. I know not to expect a lot from a buffet, but it was beyond disappointing. There was so much that was out and weren’t replenishing. The salad bar was almost empty and even when asked, it never got replenished. The dessert section had cookies, ice cream and a smashed pie. No spoons or clean bowls for the ice cream. I went through 5 plates before I found a clean one and then I used a Clorox wipe on it because I didn’t trust it. Our server was great and friendly. I’m just really disappointed in how far downhill this place went.

Golden Corral in Springfield Mass is a really underwhelming experience. The broccoli, and most other vegetables all tasted washed out, as bland as the town water supply, lacking flavor, any kind of bite, and poorly prepared. The mashed potatoes tasted like biting into a ball of cotton. The steak was the only thing that tasted fairly o.k., but it was still rubbery. All the deserts had too much overwhelming artificial flavor. And way too overpriced for the experience.

This was my second time visiting Golden…

This was my second time visiting Golden Corral, Columbia Mo. The second time around was no better. The renovations are nicely done. Upon arrival, they asked us to wait to be seated which was no problem. The problem was after we paid, there was no place for us to stand. The people behind us had to squeeze in front of us to pay for their meal. We tried to move on the other side of the rope and the guy had us move back to the crowded space. There were 6 people in our group and they sat us at a small table with no room to eat. Our waitress introduced herself and we didn’t see her again until a manager happened to walk by and we stopped her. The manager went to find our waitress so that we can be moved to another table. Once again our waitress disappeared for quite awhile. She finally came back and we had to ask for refills as she was walking off. Once again she disappeared for quite some time but finally brought our refills. She was a nice lady but she kept disappearing from the dining area. We still tipped her well but her service could have been better. The food could have been better. The chicken and fish could have cooked a minute or two longer. We couldn’t eat it. The salad bar was the only thing I could enjoy along with the rolls and mashed potatoes. The roast was very dry and a little tough. I feel they were rushing because of the lunch rush. I would rather wait for food to make sure it’s completely done. Please stop crowding people at tables to make room during a rush. People will wait to be seated in order to get good food.

Bad service

Bad service, rude general manager. Treated me poorly. Located on I35 Austin, Texas. Refused me entry after taking my money. Received credit but no food. I am 91 years old and walk with a cane.

It's on the website that they're opened…

It's on the website that they're opened up till 9:00 on Thanksgiving. We had family coming in late so we got there about 6:00 that night. Wouldn't you know it people are still in it but the doors have all closed signs on them. Why did they close up at 6:00 p.m. instead of 9:00 p.m. when the website says that's the time that they're open till. I guess this means that they really don't want people's business here. I'll just go ahead and put them in the column with Westernsizzlin. And put a forget now sign on it
