If you want a smooth, quick house move choose GloverPriest! I honestly cannot speak highly enough of them. We had Roxanne as our case handler, she and her team were so, so, so efficient - I never waited longer than a couple of hours for an email reply and usually they responded faster. They constantly kept us in the loop, paperwork was very quickly processed and everything was explained so well. They had everything under control and made the whole process stress free! We cant thank them enough for their help.

I am not a client and won't ever be--just the poor chap at the end of chain waiting for GPS to complete their work. If you saw a multiple pile up-would you warn on-coming traffic? Well I rarely write reviews and yes the service has to be truly awful to galvanise a poor review. 1 star is too generous.
The solicitor failed to respond to emails from the estate agent and my solicitor pretty well from start to finish, as well as making rooky errors not checking the basics until the last moment-causing yet more delays. Inconsistent replies, blame for others not sending info-which they did. I could go on. and on. Everything held up for weeks and weeks, generating anxiety, stress and frustration for so many other people's lives.
The awful thing is that estate agents recommend this company for a referral fee--and there seems to be nothing you can do about things when held ransom by casual ineptitude. This is the pile up down the road--please take great care.

I had approached Glover priest Solictors to act for my mu on remortgage of 2 properties buy to let, as the price quoted was reasonable.
The conveyancer was hloe was chloe hobb. 1 week later after getting stared wen the offer had been sent out to her, I received a email saying she cannot continue due to the complecations as POA and my mothers residence and well as dispute going on with another solictor regarding other matter, leaving us in the hole. This professional condut of a solictor, having a duty of care to thir client, backfired, and has complecated mattersfor me to look elsewher which is just time wasting.

The sale of a property has just fallen through after 16months of waiting A simple transfer of a piece of land that needed to be included in the sale that a third party paid for also using GP Tamworth office took nearly 2 years to complete. The level of service throughout has been worse than appalling. If I was told once that the “ post completion team” were dealing with my case , I was told a dozen times. To this day I don’t know who they are but they didn’t actually complete after nearly 2 years. Even at the end of my dealings with them, I told them I would be out of the country at the end of the week and was there anything I needed to sign so as not to delay anything. Guess what ? A week later as I am sitting in the airport departure lounge I get an e mail from GP telling me the attached form needs signing with a witnessed counter signature. Just one small example of the of sheer incompetence.

Our experience with Glover Priest started well — communication seemed solid, and we felt reassured. But when it came to the most important part of the process — completion — we were completely let down.
This started off well, with us being told around lunch time that our funds had cleared and we were now just awaiting the completion. We had then phoned several times on "completion day" as time was passing by and couldn’t get a clear answer. Eventually, we spoke to Savannah, who advised us to go and sit in the estate agents’ office, advising that they can't leave without giving us the keys. We followed that advice, got to the estate agents only to be welcomed with confusion from them. We were left humiliated when the estate agents told us they had no record of completion taking place. It was only after they contacted the seller directly that we learned completion hadn’t happened due to delays on GloverPriest’s side. The seller had advised the estate agent that his solicitor had stayed on overtime as they were waiting for GloverPriest to get back.

We were given no warning, no explanation — and were left stranded and embarrassed.
As soon as we found out that we hadn’t completed, I emailed both Kellie and Charlotte as their phone lines were closed. Kellie later called me acknowledging the situation and stating this had never happened in her career. We were also told that we would be reimbursed for our expenses during this period as we had no food or toiletries that we would need. At the time, we took this at face value and trusted the promise.
In the meantime, we had no home. All of our belongings were on the removal van, and we had nowhere to stay. We were put up in a hotel for three nights with our three-month-old baby via GloverPriest. From an extremely exhausting day, we'd hoped our hotel stay would be pleasant, but it was far from it. The hotel required us to provide baby bedding — something we were not told when checking in or when the booking was made and couldn’t provide even if we had been told, as we had no idea where it was on the van. Our baby had to sleep in a pushchair carrycot for three nights. The stress and emotional impact of this can’t be overstated and was deeply distressing.
We also had to:
• Pay a large amount to keep our belongings on the removal van for three unnecessary nights
• Throw away all the food from our fridge/freezer
• Take additional time off work

We were assured that we’d be reimbursed and assumed this would be handled quickly. It’s now been 8 weeks, and despite escalating the matter, nothing is happening. Our complaint was escalated to Emma who was said to be reviewing the whole case and would get back to us within 8 weeks. However, despite multiple emails we have not once heard from her since the initial complaint opening. We are now being ignored. No follow-up. No reimbursement. No accountability.

We wouldn’t normally leave a public review — we’ve tried to deal with this privately and gave them more than enough time and opportunity to put things right. But we’ve been left out of pocket, emotionally drained, and treated as though none of this matters.
