Pre booked a taxi for my graduation the night before. No taxi was even assigned 15 minutes after my booking time and I was second in the queue to get a car. Cancelled my booking and re booked with another provider to ensure I got to my graduation in time.

Try and stay away. Get some other company. I had the app and had used it a few times and all was well. Last week I used it twice and both times I got ripped off through the bloody app. From the vogue bingo in riddrie. To the pub called the Howgait. Right facing the royal infirmary. So 3 minutes along Alexander parade. Got charged £6.80 and also they added a £2 tip without my knowledge. Disgraceful. Then next day I got a cab from near vogue bingo again to the forge. I even got out at the traffic lights just by the railway bridge so he didn’t have to go all the way round and into asda car park where I was going. So again I used the app. £4,80 but I gave him a £2.50 cash tip because I remember the drivers saying they don’t even get the tip through the app. So i get into asda at the back entrance and I hear “ Garrryyyy “ “ Garrryyyy” I turn around and see my driver WAHAJ his name is. ( stay well clear) Garryy you’re card has declined. And me having a wee drink in me doesn’t even think and I say ohh my god mate im so sorry and hand the rat another £5 note. So fare is £4.70 ive already paid online and gave him a £2.50 cash tip. And now the rat is chasing me into asda shouting out your card declined your card declined in front of everyone. Then later on at home I think im gonna check my account 🙈🙈well im astonished. This snake has taken 3 different payments from my bank account. £9.80 £2,90 and another £8.50. As well as me giving him £2.50 cash tip then the £5 he chased me down for in asda. Im shocked and raging. Don’t ever ask for help from the actual Glasgocab office cos you’ll get treated like a pure dafty and made to feel terrible. No help whatsoever. I call the office on the Monday to speak with a manager as I’ve been directed to. Only to get this absolute horror of a woman giving me attitude and telling me how it is. No oh im so sorry about all this mix up. Your money will be back in your account right now. I will make sure of it. And to apologise for the inconvenience and embarrassment you’re next journey is on us and we’re so very sorry. Nooooo ye get this nasty woman telling you that ehh well you’re card was declined ( when I know they’re was £65 in the bloody account. I tell her you’re driver chased me into asda shouting my name and saying you’re card was declined in front of everyone, but when you first book online the payment is taken straight away so she and her daft driver are full of crap. Absolute shockingly bad customer service and support. I’ve never had the misfortune of dealing with a so called manager she said she was. Ridiculous. I didn’t even get an apology. I will never ever use these absolute cowboys again. STAY CLEAR OF THis mob

Driver arrived at the wrong location and then took 15 extra minutes to pick me up. No apology from the driver. No way to review the driver on the app. VERY frustrating and disappointing.

If only you could give a negative rating. AFter a number of attempts trying to arrange a cab on their app, and having drivers hang up on me and charge me 5 quid for cancelling my booking, I was eventually picked up. I asked the driver if the cab fare would be charged to my registered credit card - he said no and it was cash payment. I paid him the fare and found out later my credit card had been charged. I called their customer service (there's a paradox) who were extremely unhelpful and said it's the driver's word against my word. I have reported the driver and the company to Glasgow council (licensing dept) and sent a report to the Police. DO NOT USE THIS COMANY FOR ANYTHING - THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND PROVIDE YOU WITH A REALLY BAD SERVICE.

Our driver was absolutely a mess, it was an early morning I can understand that but if you dont like night shifts then don't work at that time. Pick up time was 3 am because we had a flight from Edinburgh but we just needed a taxi for Glasgow bus station. The driver arrived in time, he got off the car without saying a hello or morning he started to clean the back so we were able to put our suitcases, it was an electric car so cables were everywhere, when we ordered a taxi we gave the details that 3 adults will travel with a 20 kg and with a 10 kg suitcase. I wanted to sit next to the driver so 2 of my family member could sit in the back comfortable. It was rubbish and food waste on the front seat what he started to put between his leg when I opened the front door. The whole car was stinky, he didn't even ask any time is it okay if I pull down the windows or something he just decided to do it, doesn't matter it's in the morning maybe colder or he was driving like a maniac. He felt so like he is in formula 1.. Anyway it was a good lesson to not order them anymore. If you could or if you able just use an other company I absolutely dont recommend them. 👎👎👎

Just got out the car with a driver who was off his face on drugs. Driving like a maniac!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Phoned the police and got another taxi. This is really seriously crazy and out of order!!! What if he had killed one of my family?!?!

I've had absolutely no issues with Glasgo Cabs. The App is easy to use. The drivers I've had have always been sound with good conversation & banter. They've been on time & no overblown charges. Used them twice for 20+ mile journeys & been very happy both times.

Item left in drivers boot, phoned straight away (5.30pm), said they would contact driver and hung up. Phoned again at 6.30, told driver hadn't answered and to phone back in 20 mins. Phoned again and driver still not answered them, told to leave about an hour and phone them back. Finally at 9.30pm was told they got driver and he would drop off item in an hour. 10.30 came and went, 11.30 still no driver appeared. Phone again and spoke to someone else and he said 'oh if you want the item dropped off you have to book the driver'. If the first person I spoke to had done their job properly it would have cost roughly £6 for fare, as driver would have still been in this side of city, but NO it cost me £13 and item dropped off after Midnight!!!!!!!!! I use the taxi service on a very regular basis, after this bad and useless staff service I will never use again. Rather pay the extra for black hack, least they take time to listen and advise

And not knowing better long routes sometimes charging as much as £10 more to get to destinations longer ways. Yeaterday was the worst my partner got picked up and went a few places picking up things for my birthday that she had to get from shops and one item from. My mate. From the point she got in the car he was hitting the patter you are very beautiful etc the issue came when she wanted to going back home. She got in the car and was stationary he asks do you hqve a husband she advises yes the man that made the booking. I pre-booked a taxi early morning for 4pm to come home from work as I had an injury and I am not able to walk(broken knee and torn ligament). I got an alert saying that my car has arrived. White Mercedes.It was nowhere to be found so I tried to get in touch with the driver but was just going to voicemail. After the 3rd failed attempt I thought I speak to customer service so they can navigate my driver as he was not at the spot where I asked. Customer service was shocking. I got no help or any kind a empathy or support and advisor terminated the call. So I phoned back again (bear in min at that point I was waiting at the side of the road for over 10min with a broken leg)...I tried to explain my frustration the missing car and a shocking customer service...the second advisor started to shout at me and cancelled my car and again terminated a call with me....I had to phone back a 3rd time when I finally got an advisor who was not very nice but at least she was not rude or shouting...this 3rd advisor allocated an other driver to me at 15past 4 and car arriver just after half past. What is the point of pre booking a service?? I had to stand at the side of the road for over 40min with a broken leg despite booking a car in the early hours of the morning..I got shouted at and let down. Not even apologie or any kind a empathy other then screaming, rude advisors and a vage line "pre-booking is not a guarantee"....First car was there if advisor would have taken just a second to listen and help then all this could have been avoided.

Pre booked via the app. Booking was confirmed for 03:35 for Buchanan bus station Glasgow. Needed to be on airport bus to Edinburgh to catch a flight. Phoned and they said they still didn’t have a driver to accept the job at 03:25. I explained it was booked. He explained this was not a guarantee. Waited until 03:35 and phoned again. Still no driver. As I got a lift from family, waking kids up etc etc through the night the app said a driver was on its way but we had already left at 03:45. Never again. Completely unreliable for something important.

Pre booked cab on app for 4pm and it was sent immediately (11:30am!) Tried to phone but no answer. Explained to driver what had happened. He phoned them and explained and told me that it was now booked for 4pm. In the meantime I received an email saying I was being charged £5 for being a “no show”.
Explained to female on phone what had happened and asked her to waiver the £5 or I would never use them again. She refused. She also told me there was no booking for 4pm!!! App/account now deleted and I will NEVER use again!

Booked a cab for 08:00 on the 4th June, I pre booked it to save any hassle, 7:45 message saying assigning you driver, 8:05 I called them, driver dropping off near me, 8:15 I called back,NO driver been assigned, had to cancel, if I miss train I’ll be back in touch, ridiculous, no point in booking

Driving home today, encountered one of the friendly drivers. They were driving rather fast along a road with cars parked and demanded i reversed back to allow him "his line of way". It would have been far easier for them to pull back 10 yards but no common sense or decency. Will not be using this company if this is the standard of driver.

This company take full advantage of teenagers trying to get home after a night out with their ridiculous prices. Charged £95.30 for a 27 mile journey? Staff on phone absolutely useless. Step forward the "lovely " Taylor. Zero hcustomer service skills with the worst possible attitude imaginable. We were advised by another operator that the journey was no more than a £45 hire and told to submit a complaint via their email address. Step forward Peter the "manager". Peter tries justifying the £95.30 hire because the driver took the motorway? It took the driver 45 minutes to complete the hire meaning £120 p/h is the going tate for a taxi driver in this current climate? If I wasn't so angry I'd be asking for a job.

Waited 35 minutes, phoned an answer machine..got an automated reply.they were running late! Waited another 15 mins, my phone died! So here was me.stood outside the supermarket,at 8.30 pm...food defrosting,dead phone then went back into the shop and they phoned a taxi for me,who turned up within 5 minutes..Thank you Asda and East Mearns taxi!

Booked a taxi to airport didn't show I missed flight and holiday never use again joke of a company

Absolutely terrible. We always used this company when it was Glasgow Private Hire but since they have taken over every other private company they are absolutely S@&T.... My mum (pensioner) is receiving chemo for cancer and she booked a cab the day BEFORE her appointment. On the day she waited outside for the cab to show up and they didn't so she called them repeatedly only to be told you CAN NOT book a taxi now.....WHAT???? So anyway she MISSED her chemo appointment. Then today i booked a taxi (automated calls only) for 3p.m. The taxi showed up at 3.50 p.m. Nice going GlasGOCabs. We will NEVER be using you again!!!! I hope you go out of business....
