Was a client for years but had enough during my last visit yesterday.

When it came to handling an issue I had, the customer service was worse than cheap airlines.

What a fantastic experience - a treat for an impending big birthday. I arrived feeling grim and looking very grey. I left a blonde bombshell, feeling fabulous. Both Lea Harrison (colour genius) and Daniel Jordan (master cutter) worked wonders and were a pleasure to spend time with. Thank you!

I was disappointed in my experience, particularly after the great reviews and high price. First, it was right before the holidays, so perhaps they were just overly busy, but the place was chaos. Customers seemed to be overbooked and were constantly being mixed up, little personal attention was paid to what I wanted, they were short on space/chairs so I had to move a few times, and it was all very rushed (I actually got Covid after leaving, to get a sense of how crowded it was). Maybe it isn’t like this during non-peak seasons. I asked for a color refresh to my roots and balayage, and due to time constraints they just did a single dark color glaze and assured me this look is better for winter (I live in dubai so I like to stay summery year round). It was nice, but nothing I couldn’t have done at home or for a much cheaper price. I then got a haircut from a senior stylist who chatted with a colleague the whole time and looked at the colleague about equal time to looking at my hair. I have straight hair so an uneven cut really shows up, but it wasn’t checked afterwards for evenness and was instead blown into waves which looked great in the moment but as soon as I washed them the uneven cut and harsh layers appeared. The whole experience was £500 and I am only leaving a review because I’ve just gone to to another stylist who jokingly asked if I cut and colored it myself. I wouldn’t have minded how it all turned out as much if it hadn’t been so expensive, and it certainly didn’t live up to the glam London experience I was hoping for. Friendly staff and nice products, however. That said, I’m sure they would have fixed things if I’d gone back, but it was Christmas hours and I was quarantined with Covid so I didn’t bother.

I spent half of my Sunday at Gielly Green for a hair colouring and a haircut and I got out super happy with the result. I am super reluctant to get a colouring at a new place ( as I go for a blonde balayage and it can be quite tricky ), but Karolina Augutyte did a great job. She was super friendly, caring and gave me many useful tips on how to keep my hair healthy. My haircut was done by Simon Resta, I received many compliment for it. He was too super chill and friendly. After this first experience at Gielly Green I would recommend the place, hopefully the hair color will behave over time.

Jolie has now given me two of the best haircuts and salon experiences I have ever had. Highly highly recommend and will be coming back to her!

I had a wonderful experience at this salon. My hair was cut and styled by Simone Resta. A very highly skilled individual that is passionate about his work, and has outstanding attention to detail. He has listened to me intently and advised me on how he would create my desired hairstyle. I was over the moon with the final result! Highly recommend!

A friend recommended one of their stylist. I tried them twice for hair cut and both times I regret it because the service was poor and unacceptable. It was a hot day when I arrived there, the staff didn’t even bother to offer water! When I asked for water they served me water from the tab in a stinky glass. Reception was rude and unhelpful. After the haircut I still had hair all over me ,they didn’t bother to help to clean up and rushed me to leave. Definitely don’t worth what they charge .

I’ve been coming to Carl & Lewis for many years and moved to Gielly Green Salon with them. They are absolutely amazing and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. I highly recommend them! The salon is beautiful, staff is very friendly and top class!

I have been with this salon more than 6-7 years, only because of Pascal and Breyl ( stylist) But unfortunately, the salon’s poor customer service which doesn’t live up with their prices is a let down and eventually led us to leave them. I got injured there because one of their staff dropped a heavy object on my leg whilst I was getting hair wash but they didn’t bother to to check if I was ok and didn’t apologise! until I emailed them pictures of the injury!

Fabulous salon with a super talented and professional team. Jolie has been cutting my hair for 5+ years and always does an amazing job (and my hair is very difficult to cut and style…)
She is a magician!

I’ve only started going to Gielly Green this year and will definitely not go anywhere else. Jill is an amazing stylist - she can do wonders with my hair, despite it being a bit thin. Bobby Jo is a brilliant colourist and Sky turned my frizz into silky locks. On top of all of this, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

I love Gielly Green. Jordan is fantastic and has been looking after my colour and cut. I wouldn’t go anywhere else 🌟

Maria is 100% the best hairdresser in London. I have pretty easy hair to style but it will drop and frizz within 10 mins of leaving the salon if it’s not done right. So many hairdressers will just do it so it looks great when I walk out the door but it’s shocking within 20 mins. Maria has curled my hair for events, I’ve danced all night and woken up the next day still looking like I’ve walked out of the salon. She always cuts my hair with my style and face shape in mind, making sure it’s what I want and what I suit. Cannot rave enough about what a fabulous hairdresser she is! And a lovely lovely person as well 🥰

I had a hair cut done by Maria Giammanco "senior stylist" at Gielly Green and I cannot express how disappointed I was with the final result.

My advice, please focus on one thing until you become very good at it, for example ladies haircut, of course if you are really passionate about it.

I had Jolie as a stylist and it was the best hair cutting experience i’ve ever had! She was so sweet and we talked together about what I wanted my hair to look like and it ended up looking great. If you go to Gielly Green, I highly recommend Jolie!

I had an excellent experience with Devin the colour specialist.
She made a magical change to my hair colour and I had so many complements from my family to my friends to my colleagues at work and even customers in my work field.
I really loved it and I am enjoying this new colour as I never did it before and I felt that I am willing to back to her again to experience new colours and discover my self in new different looks.

My first visit to Gielly Green truly merits the many other highly complimentary reviews left by other clients. My stylist Jolie is a superb professional and I have rarely, if ever, had such an amazing haircut which I am absolutely delighted with. She completely transformed my style into a very chic bob and I am already looking forward to my next visit. The staff are all very welcoming and the salon has a great atmosphere.
