I sent a KEF subwoofer in February, still waiting for a reply when it will be repaired. No contact from the company. I tried emailing and calling the phone number on the website, but no response.

Great service for broken Marantz receiver…
Needed my Marantz receiver fixed as it just stopped working saw this company on line and gave them a go. They we very professional in their dealings with me and kept me in form as to the needed repairs and the costs involved. they also suggested some tweaks that would improve the sound. On the plus side the amp repairs were great the amp sounds fantastic, the minus they do take some time to carry out the repairs and they could be a bit quicker on the phone. But other than that great value for money.
Useless Company!
I ask what the point is in this company?
Sent an item off, they couldn't repair it and was charged £89 for the privilege.
They answered the phone once after over 50+ calls,
their email repones is lacking too.
Item was returned weeks ago, but having to chase for a refund... and they want to keep £89 for processing and return shipping... Even though they can't fix it.
"James" has actually responded to me on this. but is less than helpful.
He actually claims the bad reviews are people trying to exploit money from them.
I strongly recommend they are avoided.

Bose Player Fixed
I was initially reluctant to send off my Bose Player into the post. Get It fixed Limited made it easy. They emailed me a prepaid label. Your parcel can be picked up from your house or take it to the Post office. I was emailed by The Get It Fixed Team to acknowledge receipt of my Bose Player and photos of all the items I had sent to them. I later received a note of what the problem and a quote for the cost of fixing it. I paid via my bank. Fix was done. Another small problem was found and I agreed to that. I thought the price was fair. Communication with the Get It Fixed Team was very good. On return of my now working Bose Player which has been returned in my original packaging and with some extra packing there were no dents or scratches. My Bose Player is fixed and sounds great. I was given a three month guarantee for the work which is not long but I'm happy enough with that. I recommend the company for the work and communication.

Fridge Freezer main board repair
My fridge freezer is now obsolete so I can’t get a replacement main board. I sent them my board for repair. On its return a week ago I fitted it and I am happy to say my fridge freezer is now up and running perfectly, great service, very happy.

Fraudsters, scammers, deceivers, and liars
I sent an amplifier for repair because it emitted a clicking sound when turned on and remained stuck in standby mode. Based on my modest knowledge, I suspected the issue could be related to a relay or capacitor in the power supply unit. On July 1st, I sent the amplifier and received an estimate of £78 based on my description. They assured me that this was a common failure with this type of amplifier. Everything seemed fine at first, but then the trouble began.
On July 9th, I received an email stating that the repair would take between 3-8 weeks, and if I wanted it done faster, I had to pay an additional £35 for express repair. This was a non-refundable fee, as it would allow the engineer to analyze the failure sooner. I paid the emergency fee immediately, and a few hours later, I received another email requesting payment for the repair, along with the cost of a replacement power block, which they claimed could not be repaired. The total was now £78 for the engineer's services, plus £32 for the power supply repair. I paid this right away and waited for their response.
Despite repeated follow-ups, I received an email on July 11th informing me that the parts had been ordered and would arrive in 14 working days. After more waiting and insistence, I received another email on July 26th, stating that the amplifier was repaired but still had fidelity issues caused by several faulty capacitors. They suggested replacing the capacitors at £38 each. I politely declined and requested that they return the amplifier without further intervention.
On July 31st, I received the amplifier. The first thing I did was check if the power supply had indeed been replaced. To my surprise, it was still the old one. Only a relay had been replaced, and it had been soldered by amateurs, not a professional engineer. Worse still, the amplifier was returned with scratches on all the buttons.
In total, I paid £145 for the replacement of a simple relay over a 3 weeks period. My advice: go to a local electronics repair shop. I am convinced you'll save money and avoid unpleasant surprises.

SCAM ARTISTS - AVOID! Item not repaired and sent someone else's instead.
The most unbelievably poor service I have ever experienced!! Convinced this is a scam setup.
Summary: Robot Vacuum not repaired after 2x attempts; charged twice; sent someone else's item; no refund after a promise of one; No communication (over a year trying to deal with this!)
Where do I even start - Sent my robot vacuum in June 2023 as it wasn't charging and didn't turn on (I am technically experienced and ran my own diagnostics before establishing it required PC board specialist to repair). Estimate came through at £120 to repair it - I paid. Chased and chased for updates until eventually receiving a response in December 2023(!) stating a further £68 is required to complete the repair. Reluctantly I paid again.
Eventually received the unit back in February 2024, and it was in the exact state as when I sent it off, unable to charge and not turning on. I had to send a video as proof before they agreed to take it back to repair. Sent it back. Chased again for months and in May 2024 received a message that it was repaired and being sent back.
Unbelievably received a package back from this scam outfit and it was SOMEONE ELSE'S UNIT, an amplifier!!!! Obviously I sent it back and eventually received my robot vacuum back in July, and wouldn't you believe it, it still wasn't charging or turning on!! Exact same state as when I sent it the first time!
I contacted them for a refund as someone named 'James' had previously mentioned in an email I would get a refund if not repaired. They responded by sending me a WhatsApp video of the vacuum working in a warehouse somewhere - clearly wasn't mine!!
Over a year down the line and no refund and this 'company' are refusing to respond back. AVOID at all possible costs!!

Refund due still not received
I booked a repair for my SENNHEISER headphones on May 14 and received a label for free postage to Getitfixed in Birmingham. I posted the headphones and docking station and received an acknowledgement of receipt that the item would join the normal queue unless I wanted to pay more. On July 8 I received an email to say the diagnostics was completed and estimated cost to repair was £78.
They stated that the power supply circuit repair was needed. And no test could be made at that stage. Once the unit is on, they could test the other functions. Before they could proceed, they needed my acceptance and payment. Although I was surprised by the diagnostics as the power lights were all showing on and the internal batteries were being charged, I thought it would be worth proceeding to see if the unit could be repaired. I tried phoning Getitfixed but they never answer the phone. They sent me a winmail attachement with the email which was supposed to be the invoice, but I could not open it. I finally got them to send me a pdf invoice 2 days later after an exchange of emails. The invoice was for £100 pounds and included £22 for postage to return the item. I paid by bank transfer and the payment was acknowledged on July 15.
On August 1 I received an email saying the actual fault was in the motherboard and the item was beyond economic reair. The cost of the service, parts and return postage was £53.89 and therefore a refund of £46.11 was due and would be processed in the next 10-14 days. I texted back my bank account details to which the refund would be made on August 5 so the refund would be received by August 23. To date no refund has been received although the headphones have been returned.
I have sent emails on 14 and 21 August but no response. Tried to phone but no answer. What a scam.
Next step small claims court.

Get it fixed successfully repaired my ageing but good quality Rotel amplifier and Rotel CD Player. The repairs were undertaken well within the anticipated time frame and the goods were returned securely packaged in good condition. I was advised at each stage of the likely repairs required, engineer's repair costs and the cost of parts, with the option to proceed or otherwise. The overall cost of the repair for each item was very reasonable and it means that my valued audio equipment is now in excellent working order for a moderate outlay. All communication with Get It Fixed was by email which was satisfactory for me but may not suit everyone. Unfortunately, although advertising a helpline on the website, this did not appear to be manned when I wanted to discuss something. However, I was able to deal with that matter by email.

early worries
I have to say that after paying up front for the repair, and paying by bank transfer, with the phone unanswered, and emails initially not replied to, i feared that I had been scammed.
But no my |Bose Lifestyle unit, which Bose themselves declined to repair, my unit was repaired, and getting it connected at home, works perfectly.
I would suggest to getitfixed, that they answer the phone, and reply to emails promptly, and I am sure once these issues are resolved, the Get it fixed team will go from strength to strength.
Tried to fix a Linn CD player
Sent off my Linn CD player, which they spent a month repairing and charging twice the estimated quote. When tested on return, they had replaced the CD transporter with an cheap version, which destroyed the look of the player and it didn't work. Forced to pay £35 postage each way after that, was shown a whats app video of it working.
When returned it still had the original fault, unfixed, having spent over £300 and have nothing to show for it.
