I have had the unfortunate circumstance…
I have had the unfortunate circumstance of having two failed flights due to circumstances and weather both times get a flight have not refunded me the first time I wasn’t as bothered as I understood I cancelled due to my own timetable the second was down to weather and they could not refund or help me and kept giving me windows of 5 weeks for a refund almost 2k spent 0 back.

I strongly advise anyone to think twice before booking with this travel agency.
I experienced a serious issue where my flight was cancelled while I was already at the airport in Mendoza, Argentina. Instead of providing proper assistance, the agency failed to support me at a critical moment and redirected responsibility to the airline, leaving me without clear guidance or immediate help.
What is most concerning is that I was rebooked on a completely unreasonable route, forcing me to stay an additional 2 days in Chile, despite the existence of earlier alternatives to reach London. This caused significant stress, disruption, and potential financial loss.
At no point did the agency take ownership or actively try to resolve the situation. Communication was poor, slow, and ineffective — exactly when professional support is most needed.
Passengers should be aware that in situations like cancellations, you may be left dealing with everything yourself, even though you booked through an intermediary expecting support.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this agency. If reliability, accountability, and customer care are important to you — especially during disruptions — it would be wise to consider booking directly with airlines or choosing a more responsive and responsible agency.

Resolved issue- great service
I had an urgent issue to resolve which was something of my own fault, I contacted GetAFlight via my booking I made and got a fast response via WhatsApp to my linked mobile number on the transaction. I was connected with STELLA, who was absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful, she gave me my options to rectify the issue and was very patient with me whilst I took some time to make a decision on this. She kindly gave me some advice to help me make my decision, after making one I had issues it’s my payment method as I was helping my father on his behalf and had to wait to sort this, Stella kindly offered to wait for me the next day to resolve this. In the end Stella was amazing and she was so patient with as I can imagine it was a lengthy issue she had to deal with but she was so helpful and friendly the whole way through!
I would recommend using their services and if you do get into trouble and are lucky enough to get Stella to help you then I am sure your issue will get resolved swiftly and with kindness.
I hope that Stella gets the recognition for helping me!

Customer Warning: They Charge Fees in Crisis Situations
The company is requesting an admin fee to cancel a flight to Dubai while the country is at war. If I had booked directly with the airline, I would receive a full refund. Charging a fee in this situation feels unreasonable and disappointing. I strongly recommend avoiding third-party booking sites and booking directly with the airline instead.

Booked Emirates flights for a family of 6 to Dubai through GetAFlight. Due to the ongoing Middle East conflict, the FCDO is advising against all but essential travel to the UAE. Emirates themselves are offering full fee-free refunds under their conflict waiver for all bookings through 31 March.
GetAFlight are insisting on deducting £75 per passenger (£450 total) as an admin fee, despite Emirates refunding them in full with no deductions. Their own T&Cs state that supplier terms take precedence over theirs, and their Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances clause covers exactly this situation.
The customer service is a WhatsApp chatbot that simply repeats the same line. No escalation to a manager was offered. I've had to accept the refund under protest and will be pursuing the £450 through ABTA and my credit card provider.
Do not book through this company if you want to be treated fairly when things go wrong.

Stella has been amazingly helpful over the last few days. The company was seamless to book with but unfortunately we had to cancel due to the situation in Iran. Never book flights with this company
I would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking with this company.
When my Emirates flight was cancelled due to airspace closures, Emirates confirmed directly that passengers would be rebooked on a complimentary basis with no additional charges. However, this travel agent attempted to charge me £225 to rebook the same flights.
Despite multiple emails and phone calls, they refused to rebook my ticket unless I paid this so called “admin fee” — even though the cancellation was initiated by the airline, not by me.
At the time, I was heavily pregnant and travelling with my toddler. Being left stranded in another country during such a stressful situation was incredibly upsetting.
After I challenged the charge and questioned their reasoning, my booking mysteriously disappeared from their system. I then contacted Emirates directly, who were extremely helpful and confirmed that no additional fee should have been charged. They were able to resolve the situation properly.
In addition, I was previously asked to pay £100 per person to allocate seats that Emirates normally provides at no additional cost. I refused and made it clear I would escalate the matter if necessary.
In my experience, once you book, the support and transparency completely change. What initially appears to be competitive pricing quickly turns into attempts to add unnecessary charges.
I am relieved that I did not pay and that I am now safely back in London with my husband and child.
The staff members I dealt with Sidney, Deepesh and Stella - were particularly unhelpful and showed very little understanding of the situation. Rather than helping resolve the issue, they repeatedly insisted on the additional charge.

Having purchased the flights I received no email confirmation. I pressed button asking for email confirmation. I then emailed them and got no reply so had to ring them and ask for tickets. I was beginning to thing they were fake! It then took 12 mins to get through to them, email still didn’t come through so had to send it from different email! Hoping the flights exist!!
