The book 'the British pensioner's money playbook' was an extremely interesting and good value for money. It covered all 2026/2027 new changes in law regarding pensioners, a comprehension guides to claiming benefits and other subjects that could be applicable to various pensioners.
Different subjects where easy to follow and some sections like the ' handover pack' where printable for completing information for loved one's after bereavement. All up to date information is also available from Gerald Whitlock's YouTube videos, which appear quite regularly as new information comes available. Lots of reference information was also available in the book (Government relevant phone numbers, and lists of various agencies and helpful information regarding all aspects of different taxes).

I recently entered into dialogue with Gerald on something outside his usual scope. My wife is past pension age, I am 63 and currently claiming UC, I have a small pension pot that I wished to benefit from before I got too old to enjoy it.

The advice Gerald provided was accurate, phrased sensitively to my situation but most important he uses proper English, cuts to the matter with the minimum of words.

I gave him 5* and seriously suggest anybody in retirement either listens to his advice or follows it.

I purchased the Library 7 weeks ago and although it contains very useful information, I’ve been trying to get an answer to a particular question ever since. I’ve sent 3 emails, the latest on 2nd August but still no response. The unsolicited emails get through with no problem.

It is extremely well put together by a true expert in the field.
I did spend my money well.
Not something one can 'take abord' overnight, but these manuals will provide you with an indebt understanding of the IHT subject.
It enables you to ask and answer the right questions of your own professional solicitor or accountant to get your IHT affairs in order.
