Please do not bother these people were slow to see out product and when there web site is not clear about the purchase you are making like we receives a non rechargeable head lamp when we were after a chargeable for a specific weekend planned
the time cam with a non lithium battery they would not refund it we had to spend $12 to send it back then they wanted to charge $9 restocking fee and there was a part payment for delivery
please people better deals else we as we now no and better people to shop with . They blamed us for wrong selection and they wonder why we wee annoyed as the web site was not clear .
So now we have to pay $80 for a battery we will never shop with this company ever again.
making it a extremely expensive head lamp for 450 lumens nothing to write home about

I am the husband that wrote to you and never received a reply . How dare you state we are the ones not conducting ourselves in a manner when your staff already stated to my wife it was her fault and that set her off. After she stated don’t try and blame this on her as the web site was unclear all of this was written to you in a email by myself . She excepts she made a comment she should not have , but that was at the end when she offered no reasonable fare solution .
This review is to warn others not to bother over a simple order was not fulfilled and the time it took to place with a courier company 4 days post order
We are not interested in purchasing from you ever again we have since invested in a $80 batteries due to your unreasonable return policies the cost of sending it back your restocking fee and only giving credit not a refund . Why would anyone bother dealing with you based on these facts alone .
It would have cost $12 to return $9 restocking fee then repurchase and wait another 7 days for replacement that was what we wanted in the first place
When it was purchased for an event this weekend .
Good luck your version verses our version. Differs and we happily won’t direct anyone to do business with you far too risky of cost frustration time delivered for item it was not sent until 4 days after order was purchased .
We don’t need to purchase in future our tramping camping needs .Many other great companies to deal with .

Great experience buying online. Nothing to do with you but the courier company Post Haste has some shortcomings. There were no delivery updates between the pickup dates on the 13th and onboard for delivery on the 19th. And absolutely no way I could leave or give authority to leave in a secure location.

I purchased plastic camping dining plates from gear shop. I used them once and the plastic was so inferior it caused numerous cut marks. I sent the items back via courier post and asked for a refund but have had no reply. Gearshop has lost me as a customer !

The two maps (Te Anau and Manapouri) which I ordered on 11 December 2024 and which I expected to be delivered by surface mail had not been delivered to a street address in Perth, Western Australia by 12 February 2025. The company issued a receipt for the maps and the Visa payment was processed two days later
Two emails sent to the company to enquire about the maps were answered by an automated reply which did not address my enquiry.
