Currently waiting for a follow up but being verbally abused and sworn at by a car park bus driver isnt acceptable.

We had booked and prepaid parking for four days at the South terminal long stay car park. Arrival and parking went smoothly & the transfer to the terminal was quick & easy. On return we drove to the exit where the automated exit system advised us that we needed to pay £130 to exit the car park. We pressed the help button and explained that we had prepaid our parking charge, we were advised that this sometimes happens & without further explanation the barrier raised & we drove out. I can’t help thinking that this happens quite a lot & I’m sure some people feel they have no choice but to pay the additional fees

late June booking in short term parking. Ok. its not cheap so expectations are high and not met. Why? the first car park was FULL fortunately someone shouted that at me before I entered and we went to the next RED car park. The red car park has valet and other stuff on 2 floors so alot of it is for "other" people - but how would anyone know. Then off you go hunting the sole space left while the people who spent along time driving around then leaving the red car park are agitated and pushy. We found a space. we had not allowed 15 minutes of driving about waiting in line time in the car park.
Go straight to the red or - is it orange - if you need to get going.
I will consider the VALET next time as the price was not that different but i prefer keeping my keys.

The parking and ease of booking was not a problem, but had my towbar stolen while it was parked

Very easy, close to the South Terminal and lots of regular buses.

Extremely convenient and reasonably priced

The booking and pre parking instructions were clear and parking and retrieval of the car worked very well.

I was amazed and Happy with the price, Directions were easy to follow, Didn't know where to catch the bus to the carpark, it was just outside the exit from the airport. Happy Days.

So convenient, you drive in - drop the key & its then a short walk to the terminal

Easy to book easy to park- smooth experience

We parked at the Mid-Stay North Car Park, pre-booking from 19 to 21 June 2026. We were due to be travelling back on easyJet from Paris CDG to Gatwick (Flight Number: EJU8410) on 21 June, arriving in good time to pick up our car by 10pm, per our parking booking.

However, the flight was cancelled with just 2 hours notice by easyJet while we were at Paris CDG airport, and there were no alternatives to get back to Gatwick same day. For that reason, we could not pick up our car until the next day, after we found alternative transport back from France.

Did Gatwick Parking care? Not a bit of it. £60 for overstaying by just over 12 hours, even though it was completely out of our control. No way to amend the booking online or by phone (lines were closed on Sunday). They suggested afterwards I could have made a new back-to-back booking instead, which looks like it would have been around £47, saving £13. Not that it was mentioned on their website anywhere as an option, in these circumstances.

I make a complaint and received what amounted to little more than a form email with a few pertinent details added in. The overstay fee was more than the entire pre-booking fee but Customer Service basically says: "We're sorry but we're still going to charge the £60" - as if they have no choice.

As I said to them, you have secured £60 but lost a customer, permanently. I will never use Official Gatwick Airport Parking again.

East and piece of mind parking, very good price and your car is very secure. Bus transportation to the airport is quick and stree free

I have used them before for parking and they were brilliant and this time was no different. You get clear instructions when booking on what to do on the day. It is smooth, easy and the person who greeted us was really professional in his dealings with us. Collection of the car was also really easy. We knew where to go and could see the car sitting waiting for us. Really smooth parking experience and would certainly use again.
