We had our windows and doors replaced by GAP. When we visited their comprehensive site in Roxton, we were greeted by of their sales Managers, Wayne Herbert. He immediately put us at ease with his warm friendly, personable approach. He listened to our needs before tailoring his presentation. We had spoken to a few other companies, wish we had gone there first. He talked through our options, gave us advice, but left the final decision to us, no fear close, or hard sell. The work started on time, the two fitters (Kieran and Callum) were brilliant. Professional, very friendly, a credit to their company. At the end of everyday, they cleaned up everything, and left the place as they found it. Pricing was competitive, quality excellent. Would recommend thoroughly.

Employed GAP back in June to build a single store extension to kitchen plus replace all windows in property and two sets of Bi folds.

Windows done in September without a hitch.
Start date for Extension was agreed for mid October but as with everything due to COVID was delayed a little.
However the quality of the work and those carrying it out was exemplary.
Paul Temple and his team were a pleasure to deal with, great communication quality of workmanship beyond question and project completed in 5 weeks ahead of schedule .
Also Stuart and team for the skylight and Bifold installation again excellent.

Given the high levels of demand and supply chain issues that are affecting us all, GAP did an excellent job and both their own builders and the sub contractors for things such as electrics and plastering were of a high standard .

We had an existing conservatory on the side of the house: the brick base was sound, but the superstructure was all glass and wood, some of the wood in poor condition, thin double-glazing, some panels having moisture in the void. It was too hot in summer and too cold in winter. We approached several companies with a view to replacement. GAP offered what we though was the most attractive replacement. It was also the most expensive, but the company was flexible and after a little negotiation we came to a solution that suited both parties.
GAP removed the entire superstructure and rebuilt the conservatory on the existing base wall, with UPVC double-glazed panels all round. They also installed a solid ‘warm roof’, the benefit of which we have already noticed, and fitted lighting in it. The work took the best part of two weeks, but was done to the agreed schedule, one that fitted in with our autumn holiday to boot. All the contractors turned up on the days appointed.

I have no hesitation is saying GAP is a company worth using.

We picked GAP for our biggest project since moving here 36 years ago because they are a local family run firm. No rushing around cutting corners to get to the next job because everyone is paid a weekly wage. Best decision we ever made. Top quality doors, windows, glass etc. Attention to detail second to none. Top quality workmanship. And the fitters were the nicest bunch of guys you could possibly meet.They did get through an incredible amount of tea, coffee and custard creams though! Could not possibly rate this Company and the work they do any more highly. Simply the best.

GAP replaced our old conservatory which was noisy and too hot with a modern glass conservatory with a solar roof. The whole process from Sales, survey and installation was very well organised, quick and without problems. The workmanship was second to none and the installers were friendly and hardworking. We would highly recommend GAP for a replacement conservatory.

Back door fitted well and quickly, issue with lack of keys being supplied sorted with temporary barrel and within 2 days completely sorted...great job

Recently had two sealed units replaced....not a happy experience.......Inital delays in contact ....having to chase three times over three weeks.....initial survey visit surveyor not confident to complete survey....would arrange for fitter to template....had to chase twice again....first delivery arch incorrect glass finish.....second installation arch and rectangular pane incorrect sizes.....third installation visit all ok....However after 4 weeks arch sealed unit internal seals breaking down....contacted by e.mail still awaiting reply......paid in full on completion ...so not holding my breath.....let us see what happens

Having recently moved to St Neots, I employed GAP to repair/replace my Roofline, Facias, Soffits and Cladding. I was impressed with their overall service. The two workmen (Jamie and Hugh) were a pleasure to deal with and did a first-class job.
It would have been 5 stars had a quote for another job had been more realistic.

Although I am happy now with my conservatory, it has been exhausting and frustrating. The salesman lied about the time to do the work and also that all workmen were employed directly by Gap. When I brought this up to MD he said the salesman was telling customers what he told him too. My 2 week job started on 7 Oct and finished today 3 Dec. There was no follow-on by the different trades, I had to chase the office for every single phase to start. The majority of the workers who came to my house were a pleasure to deal with once they got there, but not all. Please do not believe all their promises.

Fantastic service from start to finish, no pushy sales, amazing helpful staff, fitters did an excellent job, worked hard, left everything tidy, no damage to wallpapers or paintwork. One window pane was sent incorrectly, (from their suppliers) but the whole problem was resolved promptly. The product was explained well,and Nick came round a a time to suit us.Would highly recommend, we ordered windows and a new front door, and they have really transformed our house.

What an incredible operation , from their sales team, their managers to the installers I cannot recommend this company enough. I have had a full house of windows, a front door and all the fascias and guttering done, never have I had such attention to detail, cleanliness and politeness from workmen before, Stuart, Dave and Tony - I salute you !. There were a few issues that were resolved quickly and in the old fashioned way of the customer being put first.... well done GAP - just wish more companies were like you - Vernon Bonser - Milton Keynes

GAP: Fantastic ethic and culture - totally customer focused, 100% can do approach. Every worker employed by them who has contributed to our extension and our garage conversion has been totally friendly and customer focused. Projects closely and very professionally managed, gave total peace of mind and excellent in demonstrating a totally caring "after-sales" response, something that is not always evident. They did us proud and we are so pleased with the improvements that have been made to our home.

After obtaining 3 quotes from local companies, although not the cheapest, we chose GAP.
Nick their salesman, took the time to listen to our needs, answering our questions in a very informative and professional manner.
He was happy to return on a number of occasions as we changed the specification to our potential order. The final order being the purchase of a front and back door, 4 windows, weatherboard cladding and fascia boards to dormer window.
The excellent installation was completed by Stuart in a quick, efficient and tidy manner.
We would highly recommend GAP for home improvements.

We have recently had all the doors, windows,soffits, guttering and bargeboards replaced by GAP. They also installed French doors in our dining room. We cannot speak highly enough of them. The workmanship was second to none. The installers were friendly and hardworking. They cleared up each evening before they left. We have no problem at all in recommending them to anyone who is considering having similar work done.

Just had new doors and windows fitted. Right from the first survey to the last door fitted it has been a smooth process. All the staff involved were courteous and professional providing quality products and workmanship.Would definitly recommend.

We recently replaced our back door using GAP Home Improvements. I was keen to have a Solidor having installed one at a previous property. The service we received was excellent from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with at this company was friendly, helpful and professional. I was very impressed; I would definitely use GAP again.

A very happy customer, we replaced 6 windows, the whole team from the ordering process to install was brilliant. The fitters Hugh & Stuart were very professional - a job well done - would highly recommend.

My wife and I have recently decided to 'stay put' and retire where we now live thus we decided that we needed to replace a pre-existing conservatory roof, for a orangery/flat roof and change all the existing conservatory windows to the latest specifications as we wished to use it as a garden room for both Winter and Summer. We contacted GAP and Jon duly arrived to discuss our options and gave us advice and guidance as what would be best for our requirements.
Now I will state that GAP were not the cheapest option, but with the reassurance shown by Jon the quality of the product used and the workmanship and standards displayed throughout our initial project, I can assure you, you get what you pay for and I am pleased that we went with GAP Home Improvements, having dealt with less honourable companies in the past. The quality of materials and workmanship on our building is excellent and has enhanced our house and the use we shall put it to tremendously.
Whilst GAP were working on our initial project our en-suite window mechanism broke. We asked Jon to come visit and give us a quote for a quick replacement and also to discuss a further project which was to replace our house doors with two composite doors and a further replacement window.
Again we have been delighted with the service, quality of materials and workmanship and efforts of all the staff throughout.
Just a quick tip ............... If you do have GAP to carry work out for you, please afford their workforce the decency of allowing them access to your house and keeping them furnished with Tea / Coffee in the Hot/Cold conditions, I know the workmen appreciated it and it must help them to deliver the quality service requested.

GAP Home Improvements recently changed 9 windows and 2 doors (one front, the other were patio) for us and have done an absolutely sterling job.
Alex and the team were extremely helpful and patient (with my several hundred questions) whilst we were planning/reviewing options and the 2 chaps who did the install were friendly, tidy, efficient and (whilst working through Baltic conditions) have done a top, top job.
The products themselves feel very strong and well-made, and have made a huge different to the noise and temperature in the house - particularly the front door.
Having never purchased windows/doors before, we felt a bit out of our depth, but I can honestly say the entire experience was a pleasure and we’re super happy with final product.
5 stars from us. Can thoroughly recommend.
