Both of the businesses that I own are clients of Fulfilmentcrowd and I couldn’t possibly speak more highly of the service they provide.

One of my businesses has worked with Fulfilmentcrowd since 2019 and they seamlessly assisted me with the navigation of a global pandemic and the impact of Brexit.

More recently, I set up another business this year and it was a no-brainer to team up with FC again.

Only a month or so into my new businesses operations, the De Minimus shipping policy to the USA came to an end, which was an enormous hurdle for my business. But they seamlessly implemented a system which meant the operations of my business we’re pretty much unaffected.

Great overall experience for our brand

Fulfilmentcrowd have been a key partner of our for a couple of years supporting our brand with e-commerce and TikTok. We have had a great experience with their team, customer service is prompt and helpful. They have also helped us with some large scale special projects for a large national discount chain which was a great success. Highly recommended.

Had enough by 4 yr, should have left earlier

Worked with Fulfilmentcrowd for 4 years (too long). Rarely found they lived up to their contractual onbligations in terms of receiving and stocking goods (should happen with 16hrs of arrival, yet they always denied receipt when tracking said otherwise). For goods with lithium batteries delivery added another 24hrs. Overall ended up taking delivery back in house due to continual frustration which climaxed with goods not going out for 1 week due to a warehouse change around.

Good when it is good, frustrating when there's a problem.

Generally my experience with Fulfilmentcrowd was good. However, it did become frustrating when we did have a problem, because there is no phone number to ring and it took quite a while to sort things out. It seems a bit bizarre not to pick up the phone for a customer who has spend thousands of dollars with you.

Great company backed by great talent.

We've been working with fulfilmentcrowd for a few years now. To begin with there were some teething pains, as to be expected. Our account manager has been really hands on and helpful in delivering our business needs. The on-site team are also super! I visited the Chorley site and was really impressed by the warehouse and the ops team. As our business has grown rapidly, they have been able to continue to meet our needs.
Our customer service team is also in daily contact with the CS team at FC who are equally a pleasure. It makes such a difference to fulfil through a company with real people not chatbots at the other end of the line.
I'm always impressed how the software is always improving and how focused the company is on development for it's clients.

We’ve worked with Fulfilmentcrowd for a number of years, and they’ve been a truly fantastic fulfilment partner. They’re always on hand to help with anything and everything, going above and beyond to support us.

Great experience with Onboarding

I 1st got in contact with FulfilmentCrowd around July 2023 when I was looking for a fulfillment partner to support with our direct-to-consumer initiative. The initial contact with the Development Team was good however as we went through the process and was looking for more information and cost scenario's the response time got slower and there was long waiting times to receive information even after having to send a number of reminder emails. Once an agreement was reached response time from the Development Team still hasn't improved, in my view an area to improve. On the complete opposite side is Kirsty from the Onboarding Team, once the initiative was handed over to her the project couldn't have been in a pair of safer hands. Kirsty not only has a fantastic knowledge of the setup and systems she also goes out of her way to provide support and to make a customer feel valued. She very quickly became part of the project team and also liaised with other stakeholders to ensure system integration, supported to develop a full circle Consumer Care process and provided system training, to name a few. Thank you Kirsty, you are a true asset!

The online platform is easy to use and they’ve been very flexible to assist us when necessary. Horrible customer service, pretty good platform

We do not recommend FulfilmentCrowd to anyone. While the platform is modern and well-designed, and day-to-day operations are well-curated, the customer service is absolutely horrible. We signed with them on the promise of having an account manager, which left us after a three months claiming that this was only for the onboarding. Shortly after they also removed the chat and haven't added ANY way to handle emergencies (chat, phone, direct contact), resorting to a one-size-fails-to-fit-all ticket system. With a couple of exceptions (friendly employees doing their honest best to resolve matters quickly and efficiently), whenever there is a billing issue, we don't see any progress on our tickets for months on end. They are more than happy to pass along unexplained carrier surcharges (which they are a LOT of, beware), without having any clue what the charges are for. The first few months we also had to check every invoice we received and they were systematically undue charges (in our disfavour, of course). Not to mention the fact that they won't optimise storage space unless you specifically ask for it, and then will take weeks to complete it. We also still have doubts on how they calculate shipping rates, which were more expensive that their official rates...

A company showing typical signs of having too few employees for its size and ambitions, and with a clear culture of overcharging customers.

Service Levels

From moving to Fulfilment Crowd earlier this year we have received nothing but support. Our Ac Manager Kim is attentive, responsive and very helpful. This has enabled us to grow our business considerably with very little effort, we receive consistently good service and expect this to continue through 2024.

Use their tech and all works well

our company has been a fulfilment crowd customer for 3 years and overall i have been happy with the service they provide. orders go out quick even during the christmas season. BUT, you have you get your head round the way they work which is highly systemised and dependent on stuff like item information being kept up to date. if you dont use their app in the way it has been designed, problems occur and these can take a while to fully resolve. the people we deal with are nice and like any successful partnership, you get out what you put in.

The grim reaper of small businesses.

I’ve been waiting to write this review for what feels like a lifetime, having been stuck in FulfilmentCrowd Hell for well over 2 years. We couldn’t leave because it would have been far too expensive with the volume of stock we had. It’s taken me selling my business and the new owner moving it all to their own warehouse to allow the business to escape.

AVOID this company if you value the health and reputation of your business, and your own mental health. They have a complete and total disregard for their clients’ businesses, customer experience, time, and money. I personally feel that being a customer here is worse than rubbing raw chilli in my eyes whilst having my toe nails pulled off (not that I’ve tried that, but I can imagine it’s worse).

I can categorically say that FulfilmentCrowd was BY FAR the most stressful part of running my business. Without a doubt. Even worse than international shipping and logistics, difficult customers and factory issues combined.

When everything works, it works well. It’s all automated. Orders go straight to them and things get sent to customers. Great. But that’s where the good stuff ends.

Things go wrong, and when ANYTHING goes wrong, it’s an utter nightmare to fix. You get ignored for weeks (or months in some cases) on end, when you are finally forced to kick off enough to get a response, you’re gaslit, made to feel you’re an idiot or you’ve caused the issue when it’s proven to be them at fault and told you’re acting inappropriately by daring to express your frustration at being ghosted, and not so subtlety threatened about being kicked out. They’ll sweep things under the rug and ignore you some more in the hopes that you will forget or grow too tired to continue pushing for help or compensation.

The issues I’ve had with them are far too many to list out in their entirety and many of them have blissfully become repressed memories, but here’s a flavour:

- One shipment arrived into the warehouse and they told me well after the fact that 25% of the shipment “didn’t arrive” and blamed the factory saying it must have not been shipped. This ‘missing’ stock was worth over $25k. I was horrifically stressed and had to spend HOURS going through the entire supply chain getting proof that it did all arrive. Then a couple of weeks later, they suddenly found the stock in a dark shady corner. They didn’t inform us about this. Oh no. We just randomly noticed it all on the system one day. After we’d cancelled numerous orders telling customers it hadn’t come and sent replacements etc. It was VERY rare that they managed to put away any delivery correctly. This kind of thing happened frequently on a much smaller scale.
- Delivery, storage and packaging costs shot up without any warning on the US side. I’m talking up to 10x the agreed costs. Took me months to get them to listen, resolve and partially compensate for this.
- Stock went missing continuously with no proper explanation or compensation. At once point recently we had an unexplained 30k ‘negative stock adjustment’
- The stock sync system was constantly broken, causing huge issues for us. We constantly had backorders where their system told our Shopify that we had stock that we didn’t, so customers would order then it would be ‘not on shelf’ backorder. So annoying for customers but we also lost transaction fees for every cancellation. Again, we told them of this on numerous occasions and were ignored or told it was fixed when it wasn’t.
- They went through a long phase of constantly splitting orders without our permission, doubling up our shipping costs. We raised it and were told it would stop. It didn’t stop and kept reoccurring.

That’s just a taster for you. The 5* reviews are either recently onboarded people who haven’t yet experienced the full joy of FC, or probably fake. Avoid at all costs.

• Throughout our partnership we have fully supported your account by offering various communication channels. This included a direct line and point of escalation as your business expanded into the US.
• All queries have been dealt with professionally by the team and comfortably within SLA.
• Compliance of your inbound stock has been a challenge throughout the partnership and despite numerous attempts to support your conversations (with suppliers), little progress was made.
• There was a receipting error related to one of your inbound deliveries, and mistakes do regrettably happen. However, this was swiftly identified and accurately dealt with by our team.
• The cost-effectiveness of setting up in a new territory (the US in this instance) is always dependent on accurate forecasting, both regarding storage and throughput. Unfortunately, your stock levels were significantly higher than anticipated and your order volume was significantly lower than anticipated, thus having a negative impact on your Cost per Order.
• Our team will always try to make the best decision to maintain customer experience but will always seek the clients input prior to implementing.

As always, we are happy to discuss your challenges further as there could be learnings for both parties.
