We are in the process of relocating from US to Portugal, still working, not retired, and were looking for information to better understand our future tax cituation. We went into a meeting with not knowing exactly how we should proceed with our income sources and what would happen after we move. Now we know what our plan is and have more clear understanding of what we should and should not do. Zeev comes across as very knowledgeable person with understanding how different countries tax codes interact, and also very pleasant to talk to.

After being a member of “Tax benefits for expats in Portugal”, Zeev’s FB group, for a few months, my husband and I decided a consult would be a good idea as part of our retirement planning for a 2025 move to Portugal. 30 minutes was not cheap - are lawyers ever, lol, do check their website rather than rely on my definition of “not cheap” though. But Zeev cleared up a couple of misconceptions we had regarding our tax situation that were a big relief and allowed us to focus on other things we need to address as we move forward. We also really appreciate that even though Fresh Portugal won’t be able to file our US taxes for us, Zeev is knowledgeable about US expat taxes and can coordinate with our US tax advisor if necessary. Our biggest takeaway from the meeting was that Zeev is very smart and very professional, which is exactly what we are looking for as we begin this adventure.
