I looked at FreeTrade but decided their business model wasn't aligned with my objectives.
I think FT will be under pressure to convert users who are using free services into paying customers. One method that might be employed is to move functionality from the free accounts to paid accounts.

One of the better companies for no interest credit for a given time frame. Freetrade gives you all the advice you need to open your account and the balance transfer was made in no time at all and without further ado. Being new to investing I started out by running 2 very different platforms, just with very small sums of money, to see how I got on. It didn't take me long to figure that Freetrade was the better option for me because of its flexibility and ease of use. Money transfers were also very easy to set up so I ended up closing down my account on the other platform and sticking with Freetrade and I have no regrets. Highly recommend this platform, all you need to do is commit a bit of time to research what you want to invest in and watch your money grow!

I transferred several pensions into…
I transferred several pensions into Freetrade. Two completed, but three others have been stuck “in progress” for weeks, despite the app confirming that Freetrade has already received the assets.
One transfer was stopped with an “action required” message telling me to contact live chat. The problem is that the automated chat system is unhelpful, gives contradictory information, and it is extremely difficult to reach an actual person. You send a message and can then wait days for a response.
I raised a formal complaint and clearly explained the delays, the poor communication and my concerns that pension funds may have been left uninvested. Freetrade acknowledged my email on 14 July and promised to reply within three working days. That deadline passed, and I still received nothing.
For a company handling people’s pensions and investments, this level of communication is unacceptable. The issue is not just that transfers have taken longer than expected; it is the complete lack of meaningful support when something goes wrong.
I will update this review if Freetrade resolves the transfers, explains what caused the delays and properly addresses my complaint.

Terrible service, unable to provide me with a pension statement showing contributions. I’ve been asking for months. Makes me feel like I’m with a dodgy company and am close to reporting them.

They make fun of GDPR
Years ago I created an account but decided not to trade with them mainly due to poor pricing that was set at the time and comments I read. I deleted the account and unsubscribed from communications (ANY). They not only kept sending me unsolicited messages and zeroed unwanted account statements but all tries of cancelling the message flows, contacting them or trying to reach their DPO remained unsuccessful. They make parody from data protection, GDPR and possibly any customer rights what so ever. Very bad approach!

Waiting weeks for an ISA transfer
I have been waiting weeks for a transfer of my ISA and have communicated multiple times with the customer support team through the chat (which I have been replied to within previously) and there has been no response for almost 3 weeks now. It's almost as if they don't want me to make the transfer, so they are making it difficult. If I don't have a response within the next few days I will have no choice but to report it to the ombudsman.
