My first forever young festival was cancelled due to covid so held tickets of until it returned what a day it was in 2022 and worth holding onto my tickets as I got a lifetime discount for return festivals. My pals and myself availed of it this year for a full weekend camping trip and despite the weather we had a ball. While some people where unhappy due to not being able to gain access for health and safety I personally was already there and we got on with it a fantastic weekend was had and some great friends made over the few days can't wait for its return in 2024 and it can never be as bad weather wise again but no matter what I will be there with wellies or sunglasses . See you again soon fyf thank you to Sharon and all her team heres to the future.

Have attended the last two festivals. The first in fantastic scorching weather without a cloud in the sky. The latter with mud baths and torrential rain. Regardless of weather, the festival has been fantastic as the music brings you back to the best decades of music. The maturity of the people at the festival is a pleasure compared to other events. It is just one of the best weekends of the year and would be a tragedy if it didn't go ahead.

Have attended the previous three festivals and they have been absolutely amazing…what a wonderful way to relive the 80s and our youth…always fantastic music, great people and a brilliant set up that has improved each year! Unfortunately the weather was against it this year but it definitely did not spoil the good vibes, the fun and the experience!!!! Roll on FYF 24…and please please please try to sort out the weather!!!

If you love 80s music this festival is a must. The first year I attended the music, the people, the atmosphere all made the weekend a wonderful experience so I couldn’t wait to go back again, which I did for the next two events and it just got better and better, Mother Nature did her best in 2023 to wash us all away but it only added to the experience and making more memories. The organiser Sharon and her team go above and beyond to try give everyone the best weekend, I would 💯% recommend this festival.

Fantastic festival all the 80s bands I been to every one even the winter festival as I wish their was a winter festival too. I had 4 tickets for this year but unfortunately couldn't get in sat because of the weather can't be helped put the money to 2024 festival hopefully its took out when buy tickets for 2024 as its me and 3 friends . hopefully the weather be like 2022. The only problem is getting refunded as it happen to us as codiv
party down it was called it take a couple of months. I think it should be done true ticket master as its easy to get your refund. Great bands all 80s food and drink. Silent disco is brilliant. Keep up the good work Sharon and volunteers . The only down side yous need to answer in one post or email to people about refunds and don't delete their question or block them is the only down side

It's the best festival in Ireland the whole weekend of singing dancing eating and drinking. Brilliant fantastic seeing all our 80s bands I don't know how you do it Sharon every year its amazing and fantastic volunteers and friendly can't wait for forever young festival 2024 roll on July

If you grew up in the 80's, loving the music, then this is for you. The range of artists, facilities, silent disco, etc. and a cracking atmosphere all make it a weekend to remember. Looking forward to FYF #4.

I was still on a buzz when it was over, best festival I have ever been to. Amazing artists, great accommodation and so well organised. Everyone we met were so friendly and the atmosphere was something else. Even the really bad rain didn't dampen it. Roll on 2024 😊

Best weekend ever, no matter what the weather…

I’ve been to Forever Young festival for all 3 times it’s been held. We’ve met so many like minded fans of 80’s music and have made friends since our first one in 2019. The atmosphere is fantastic and the acts are all up for joining in with the crowd because they can see how much everyone enjoys it. Unfortunately last year’s weather conditions couldn’t have been worse but the organisers did the best they could in really bad conditions. The other year’s the weather was really good and there was a real party atmosphere in the sun. Let’s hope 2024, stays dry because I can’t wait to go back.

Had a brilliant time. Even the rain didn't dampen my spirits. We went camping from Friday til Monday morning. Everyone I met was in good form and laughed about the weather. This was my third Forever Young festival. For the first two the weather was glorious and they were the best weekends ever.
The music was brilliant. We brought our camping chairs to the arena each day and enjoyed the show. There were 2 bars with plenty of staff so queues moved quickly. There was also plenty of choice for food with a number of stalls. There was a big tent showing the GAA semi final matches if anyone was interested. We went there to watch the Dubs.
Definitely going again next year.

If your an 80s fan say no more! I've been to the last 2 years and it's been brilliant. The first year we had a heatwave this year was a mudfest but thoroughly enjoyed both. The lineups were amazing too can't wait till next year 💃💃🎵

2023 was my first year. It rained, in the biblical sense. There were rivers of mud. Tough decisions had to be taken for health and safety. I was massively impressed that the organisers did take the hard decisions, instead of giving into pressure from annoyed punters. The festival was brilliant, the atmosphere despite the rain and mud was electric, the camaraderie in the camp sites, the buzz in the arena, the enthusiasm of the acts were all mind blowing. Sharon Alston and her team deserve the highest accolades for what they achieved! In the middle of one act, lighting ripped through the sky, for safety they switched off power to the stage, the crowd spontaneously burst into a huge conga line till the lightning passed and the stage went live again.Myself and my wife will absolutely be there again in 2024 in our little red and white caravan! And if we need to be towed out by a tractor again? Who cares, it was all part of the adventure!! Highly recommend it to everyone!!

Loved FYF each of the three times we were there. Spoiled with weather the first two times and Mother Nature made it very difficult to enjoy the 2023 one but music fans let no weather stop them from enjoying the festival.
Well done to Sharon and the whole team that went out of their way to accommodate everyone as best they could under the circumstances with no control over the weather and Safety advising under the conditions
So hopefully we get good news that we will have a 2024 festival to look forward to

This was our first forever young festival and it was epic!! No amount of rain could take away the atmosphere there. If anything the mud made it more fun! Really had an amazing time! Bands were brilliant as was the dr doing the compèring. We did a hotel package and the craic on the bus was hilarious. We’ll definitely be going again

The best festival I have ever been to. 3rd year this year and can't wait for the 4th.
Artist are the best there is.
Silent disco is the icing on the cake.

Have been to all of the FYFs in rain and sun and we always had the best time. We will go again no matter what. Roll on 2024.

The best time machine experience of my life for the second year running. The weather couldn't have been in so much contrast between both years but the atmosphere and quality of music was the very same. As soon as the festival is over I feel as if I'm leaving a lifelong friend.

1st year 2023 amazing weather crap but sure we live in Ireland.
Acts where fantastic can't wait for 2024.

Ive been to all 3 FYF, fabulous athmosphere, fabulous bands and acts, lovely people all out to have the craic, no trouble. I felt safe, i felt secure. Best gigs ever, roll on 2024.
To those who thinks food and drink is overpriced, tell me a venue that isnt, tempke bar, 3 arena, bord gais. At least we are very well entertained.

We've been twice. Fantastic venue & great acts. We're going again in 2024. Even the bad weather in 2023 didn't spoil our fun. It's a must for any 80's fans.
