Focused is a specialised ADHD clinic offering video assessments for just £289, as well as diagnoses and ongoing support. Our qualified practitioners are licensed in the UK and, if you are diagnosed with ADHD, they can help you find the care and treatment you need. It all starts with an online pre-assessment. Complete a questionnaire to see if a consultation is right for you, and nominate a family member or friend who knows you well to answer a short survey about your symptoms and developmental history. If our clinician thinks a consultation is suitable for you, you'll be invited to book a 2 hour slot for a video call with them. And if a consultation isn't right for you? We'll refund your £289 fee. During your video consultation, our clinician will ask you some questions about your symptoms and everyday life, and most of the time you'll get a decision on your diagnosis by the end of the appointment. From there, our clinician will go through any treatment or therapy they think might help you, and you'll have the option get ongoing care with us each month. When you start a treatment plan, we'll also check in with you regularly to see how things are going, and you'll get access to our clinicians to ask them any questions you need to.

Wow! What an experience with Focussed. From the second I booked until the second I was diagnosed I could not fault them. I was apprehensive as to whether this was the 'real deal' given the cost, but believe me it is. My assessor was incredibly knowledgeable, communicated beautifully and held space for my assessment. She needed more time with me and this was booked for the next day, so no waiting around and no additional costs either. She diagnosed me on the second day and it feels like so much of my life finally makes sense! I am now waiting for my final report and recommendations which is the final stage. If you are on the fence about going through with this given the low cost compared to other clinics, please give it a chance. I'm sure you will also be surprised at how amazing they are

I was very nervous about my assessment and if I wanted to try meds but throughout focused have been friendly, fast replying to my questions and very helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an adhd assessment privately.

Absolutely super service
From start to finish the whole process was so easy. I received an appointment to meet with Dr Lily within a few days.
She was kind, considerate, understanding and non judgemental. I was dreading the appointment but she made it so easy to talk to her. The time flew by and at the end she gave me an instant verbal diagnosis. My written report arrived the following day. As a former SENCO that has seen endless psychologist reports I have to say, this is one of the most comprehensive and through reports I have ever seen. At long last I feel validated, someone has taken the time to listen to me and not say "we're all a bit like that" no we're not! I highly recommend this form of assessment. I wish I'd done it years ago. Thank you!

Great service, super friendly and they get it...
I felt that Focused was really direct and motivated with supporting me through the beginning, middle and end of the consultation process. Any questions or concerns I had regarding booking the consultation or attending it and/or receiving a diagnosis were dealt with straight away and in a reassuring manner. Lily carried out my consultation, she was super patient, asked all the right questions and listened and empathised whilst keeping our session moving. I felt I could ask her anything or stop and take a breather at any time and she was genuinely OK with me getting overwhelmed at times. I would recommend all aspects of this service as they were very quick to get the paperwork completed and offer appointment times. I'm not sure why I sat on the nhs waiting list for so long (over 2 years) when Focused offers this seamless and attentive process and I wish I had heard about them sooner. Thanks so much Lily and all at Focused, I am now getting on with my life :)

No one joined!!!
Joined approx 10 minutes before the appointment. got lots of reminders and notifications about the appointment via email and text. at 5pm no one joined. tried the chat....no answer, tried their socials....no answer, tried email....no answer.
Very poor experience. At time of writing been in the lobby for nearly 45 minutes. No excuse for poor customer service.

I had consultation booked and paid for…
I had consultation booked and paid for on the 16/08 but received a message advising some earlier slots were available so me being me I rebooked the same day today 08/08 so that I could get some answers. Signed in 10 mins before 1400 start time and nothing, nobody host in the meeting. I'm now sat here at 1529 wondering if I've done something wrong and full of disappointment.

I do not recommend this platform.
If you’re going through menopause, be prepared for almost all of your symptoms to be blamed on menopause even if you were diagnosed with ADHD long before it started. In my case, I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 25 but that was largely dismissed during the assessment.
I was left with the impression that they were looking for any explanation other than ADHD. Very disappointing. I cannot recommend this platform.
I have now decided to continue my assessment at a SPECIALIST ADHD clinic. I have already been diagnosed with ADHD there, and I will be starting medication soon.
My advice: don’t choose a clinic just because it’s cheaper. Otherwise, you’ll simply end up paying twice.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. My assessment was professional, epathetic and enlightening. My assessor was so kind and dealt really well with my at times tearful and difficult responses. There were lots of indepth questions around my childhood as well as my life now. I know these type of companies get a kicking from some online but I would definitely recommend especially if approaching your GP is too difficult which it was for me. There was no push to medication but I said I was interested in talking further about this, this will be done at a later date by the prescribing team. My assessment lasted nearly three hours and I was made to feel like we had all the time in the world.

Really impressed with the service for amount it costs!
I felt the process was straight forward and user friendly. The "face to face" was a personable and very professional experience, with the full two hours being utilised to gather all the information needed. I just hope the written report is useful and helps me move forward with my diagnosis. Not sure yet if to trial medication, so will see about that in the future (so can't comment on that aspect). Would definitely recommend.
