Celia our painting tutor was incredible at facilitating our success. The host Omar is an remarkable man with so
many talents and as for our cook she produced the best food with so much love. Thank you Flavours.

Great location. Host was fantastic as was the art tutor. Organised trips were fun and interesting. Excellent company to travel solo with.

This was such a disappointing holiday! It was a weeks painting holiday in Puglia. The other guests were charming, and if it weren’t for them I would probably have come home earlier. The food at the villa was dreadful. The evening meals were especially bad, and we all left most of the food. There was no choice, few vegetables, and very unappetising food. A real shock as one of the reasons for choosing Italy was my love of the food. I complained via email on behalf of my fellow guests after two days. The company’s response was along the lines of “now we know I’m sure it will improve”. It didn’t. Unfortunately there were only two opportunities to have meals outside of the villa, and we were stranded in a villa miles from any town offering decent food. I would never consider another holiday with Flavours. Lynne VG

An amazing week, a good balance of activities, cooking, in the morning, excursions in the afternoon or evening. Staff were very skilled in their fields and, in addition, attentive and caring dealing with individual needs and questions. Do they ever sleep?
I returned determined to try out what I had learned, much practice needed! Thank you to all the Flavours team.

Well organised from start to finish. A beautiful location and villa, the food was outstanding, everything freshly cooked and delicious. Travelling to different locations was fun with the group and sampling all the local food + shopping, was great keeping fit with our fabulous Pilates teacher. A wondeful experience all round all round and would recommend to anyone travelling alone.

Excellent cooking holiday in the Veneto region. The chef Vanessa was amazing. We learned so many tips and got to sample her delightful cooking as she cooked our evening meals. The Villa is lovely, my room was gorgeous and had a really comfy bed and we enjoyed trips to Treviso, Prosecco tasting in the Prosecco hills and a very fun trip to Venice. I have never laughed so much on holiday - the group of ladies and Vanessa were just fantastic. Also everything was extremely well run and organised from the airport pick up to the excursions and the daily cooking lessons!

Beautiful villa, beautiful room, great chef, lovely wine. What’s not to like? The trips to the villages to sketch and the meals in local restaurants were great. The tutor was very knowledgeable and helpful. When a problem arose at the villa it was solved quickly and efficiently without fuss by the management. Altogether a great holiday and will be choosing another soon from Flavours.

We were located in Ortelle Villa which was very beautiful but quite quickly, became like a prison. Our first night the food was dreadful, none of us could eat it and then the staff left leaving us all sat at the table wondering what we do now ? And it didnt improve. The food in the day was nice but the evening food was inedible. I don’t know what was poured on the bowl of lettuce we had as our side each and every single night (Note: no veg or variety of side dish) but it turned my tummy. There were 8 in our group and we were all dissatisfied. We collectively complained to flavours by email only to be told how much they pride themselves on giving their guests a good experience and “hopefully” it would improve. Which of course it didn’t. Our Art tutor was lovely but being inside all the time limits what you can paint. Puglia is meant to be beautiful but we didnt get to see it. She did try to take us into the town but it was quite run down and there was nothing there ! She was also placed outside the villa and had to take herself home each night so didnt want to stay late with us in the Villa. Who could blame her ? Our host was nice and helpful but was only with us during meals and trips. I did also notice she ate lunch with us but not the evening meal ? We had 3 outings, one to Castro Marina in the evening for a few hours to swim but it was too cold, one to Specchia for a few hours to have lunch, which was delicious and an evening trip to Lecce to shop and have supper which was great food too. I would have loved to have spent a day or two somewhere sketching Puglia’s sights and scenery, to then go back to the villa and paint ! We spend so much time stuck inside the villa, had it not been for the lovely ladies who were on the holiday, it would have been very droll indeed. For the price you pay for a Flavours holiday and what they advertise, I feel like I have been robbed. I will not be attending another Flavours holiday again.

The balance between leisure time, excursions and Pilates was spot on. The whole experience for me was incredible. There were eight ladies on our holiday and we all gelled instantly. The villa was situated in the middle of the countryside and had everything you possibly needed for your holiday. Our villa host was simply lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Our Pilates teacher was equally as nice and helpful. All of our meals, cooked by our own personal chef, were amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Flavours Holidays to anyone wishing to go on this type of holiday. I am already looking to plan my next trip!

This is my third Flavours holiday - Pilates in Sicily in 2019 and then a taster week in Scotland in 2023, which led to me booking a Painting holiday in Emilia Romagna. This was of an equally high standard, Excellent accommodation and wonderful food with helpful and encouraging teaching by Jaclyn. The staff in Edinburgh are always helpful and informative. I definitely recommend this company if you are looking for an interesting and stimulating holiday.

I have enjoyed a fabulous first holiday with Flavours Holiday and felt at ease from the moment I arrived. The stay was at an impressive villa/converted farm with beautiful old olive trees in the grounds and I loved my large ensuite room. Our host and our chef/teacher were both lovely and made a huge contribution to a happy and comfortable experience. For me, the stay plus flights add up to quite a lot of money for one week's holiday but I'm very glad I splurged. It was good value for what was included and the balance of lessons, excursions and downtime were well thought out. The head office staff also deserve a mention as prior to the trip they were reassuringly helpful and strong on communication. I'm very happy to recommend Flavours and I hope to holiday with them again some day.

Fantastic first solo holiday. I would thoroughly recommend Flavours company as from the first initial enquiry I made to the holiday, the team were very helpful and organised every step of the way. The 14c villa we stayed at was beautiful also the owner who was also the chef produced exquisite meals and nothing was too much trouble. Fabiana our host for the week was organised and knowledgeable of the area. Mark Holden our art tutor made learning fun and would help with any techniques I was interested in. I would definitely go on another Flavours holiday and recommend them to all.

Went in June for Language In Sicily. Enjoyed the week. Carlo the teacher was lovely and even went out of his way to accompany me to Scicli set of Montalbano. Villa and food amazing. Other guests were lovely people. Carla and Catherine (The cooks)also lovely. Non stop food which was so tasty. great. Amazing Cannolis. Have been to Tuscany too and Francesca the teacher was great too. Flavours are not the cheapest and you have to pay extra for flights. However, I would go once a year if I could afford it. Villas are beautiful. Tuscan food not as nice as Sicilian. Just love speaking Italian all day. Great for single people, couples or groups of friends.

The Villa was absolutely stunning. Beautiful rooms and outdoor areas, pool and gardens.
Cooking classes are great to get a taste of the local cuisine.
Abundance of food and wine for meals.
Great day trips as well.

Enjoyed my first Flavours holiday with friends very much. Great customer support from Flavours. Our hostess, Michaela, was excellent. She did so much to make our holiday extra special. Lovely villa, trips and food too.

A really lovely holiday.
The beautiful location and inclusive atmosphere of Flavours’ personnel and organisation made me feel relaxed and welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble.
The Italian classes led by Irene, were a lot of fun. She managed our various levels of competence extremely well. I find Flavours holidays very good value, with so much included. The meals were delicious.
It was my fourth holiday with the company. I aim to return.

My second Flavours holiday. This time Puglia for Pilates. I had a fabulous time. The accommodation was really great, lovely and clean and the pool and gardens were beautiful. Mina our cook and her assistant kept us very well fed with gorgeous vegetable meals as we were all mainly vegetarians. Kate our great Pilates teacher and Ilenia our host could not have looked after us better. The villa owner was visiting for a few days and offered to take us out on his yacht, for a sail, swim and Prosecco. How lucky were we. I would have liked to have had a trip to do a little bit of shopping maybe to a supermarket ( we were able to stop at a small one on the way to a gorgeous village for superb dinner). Only complaint was the impossible feat of turning down the temperature of the heatwave but great air conditioning in the villa. I will be back.

Flavours were really helpful from start to finish. The villa accommodation was just lovely and the Flavours staff at the villa were exceptional. It was great to try regional food and the cookery lessons were well thought out and conducted with professionalism and fun! Antonio, Fabriana and Luandre were amazing. The only thing lacking for us was the excursions. The places we visited did not have much in the way of foodie experiences - there was a distinct lack of shopping opportunities in Lecce and Santa Maria de Leuca - Gallipoli was a little better but time was a bit limited to hunt out the non-tourist shops. This is not Flavours fault of course but it would have been nice if we could have visited some specialist food shops to buy some of the ingredients that are hard to come by in the UK. Other than that, we could not fault it. Thank you.

Just booked my second Flavours holiday to Sicily for next year. My first, in Tuscany earlier this year, was a real joy. I had been looking for a holiday that was truly an experience of the local area but focussed around cooking. I'd seen other holidays which seemed to offer a couple of days cooking and the remainder sight-seeing which didn't meet my expectations. When I found Flavours, it was just what I was looking for, and the holiday really met those expectations. The host, chef, and fellow travellers were amazing as was the location and facilities in the villa. I really can't wait for the Sicily trip!

Fabulous location right on the cliffs looking down over the sea. Beautiful pool (but not much shade around it) and rooms with their own private patios and space (where there was shade). The food was amazing (much of it sourced from the garden in the grounds). The chef Mina was brilliant and accommodated allergies/intolerances and dislikes with ease. The host was totally gorgeous and couldn't do enough for us. She flexed the itinerary for us to reflect weather and our requests and made everything run smoothly. Ruth, the pilates teacher, was very experienced and helpful. She dealt with the varying levels of experience very well, giving us easier or harder options depending on our needs. An absolute joy to do pilates twice a day. Ruth also acted as an extension of the host, going well beyond her Pilates responsiblities and being a welcome part of our little gang on our trips out and about. Met a great bunch of strong, wonderful women in my group. Wonderful to hear all their stories and life experiences. Holidays seem to attract older people
