Enjoyed a watercolour painting holiday in Sicily. The accommodation was lovely and the food and wine plentiful. Our hosts were very welcoming and our tutor, Sophie, was lovely and very helpful. I feel I learnt a lot and renewed my enthusiasm for painting.
The trips to local towns and villages were very well organised and good fun.

A lovely villa in Sicily, in beautiful extensive gardens, which included a swimming pool. The rooms were all en-suite, and spacious . The food was amazing , and the wine was flowing .Our tutor , Celia was excellent , a very good teacher. we were a very fun group, and made some good friends. I would highly recommend this holiday .

It was my first cookery holiday with Flavours and will not be my last! It was great in every way - we were beautifully looked after by Salvo and Josephine, the cookery was fun and very delicious, the accommodation was lovely and we were thoroughly spoiled!

Another outstanding week with Flavours - this time cooking in Bologna. So easy to get booked and organise flights - our inbound flight was rerouted to Milan but the rep sorted out a transfer for us. Our chef was marvellous - a warm and very knowledgeable man who demonstrated and suffered his way through a delightful mix of pasta and lunchtime dishes. The accommodation was spacious and set in open countryside with access to local walks. The trips out were interesting and the meals out fantastic. What’s not to like? You need to happy to get involved but no experience is necessary - just a great holiday!

What a great experience with Flavours Holidays in Tuscany. From the contact beforehand, to the organisation in Tuscany itself, cant fault it at all. Our chef & host couldnt have done more for us and everyone mixed so well. The fact we were mixed with a painting group was an added bonus and it has inspired me to start painting again. Looking forward to a painting holiday next!

A language holiday in Puglia was full of laughter. Our tutor organised the learning as team work so no matter the level, every one of us was comfortable with the learning. The accommodation in Maglie is palatial - it's called a Palazzo - and the town is absorbing, with a claim to fame as the birthplace of Aldo Moro. The house staff used local produce to give us excellent food of the region. The excursions showed careful planning and interest.
We were a small group, just seven of us, and our WhatsApp group is still running with plans for an Italian meal reunion.
All in all, much to be praised and I'm surfing next year's holidays.

I travelled with my sister to a cooking holiday in Puglia. The lessons were great fun and the hostess Monia and the chef Antonio gave us excellent recipes. The meals in the evening , made by Hugo, were excellent and Prosecco and wines were always served unstintingly. We quickly formed friendships with the other guests and lots of interesting conversations.

Great cooking holiday in Tuscany this year. This is my third experience with Flavours, each one has been a delight. You are looked after from picking up at the airport until return. All accommodations, hosts and teachers have been fantastic. Highly recommend to single travellers who like an activity and opportunity to learn something new, meet new people and explore new regions.

I was very nervous about booking my first solo holiday with Flavours, but I need not have worried. Everything went smoothly, and the staff went out of their way to look after us and make sure we had an enjoyable week. The food served to us at the villa in Tuscany was excellent, as were the outings and art tuition we received. My only very slight criticism would be that the list of art materials we were given to bring with us wasn't appropriate. Perhaps each tutor could provide a suitable list? However, all in all it was a very well organized holiday.

Food excellent. Trips interesting and plenty of free time both at the villa and on the trips to explore more, or just relax.

I went on a painting course in Puglia with Flavours Holidays in June 2025. The weather was idyllic but maybe too hot for water colours which dried quickly in the sun. I am a beginner painter and the teacher was really patient with me and inspired a degree of creativity which i had no idea i possessed. My fellow artists were all ladies (not a bad thing for me as a single guy!). Most of them had done painting before. They were all very encouraging to me and helped me to produce some great results. The villa was stunning a few idiosyncracies but in the main very comfortable and inviting. The food cooked by a local nonna was great good honest home cooking washed down with enough table wine to make every meal an occasion. One of our party had her birthday while we were there and the cake was really good. All the excursions were delightful. Beautiful lunch in local village, excellent aperitifs and swim in nearby beachtown and really good day out in Lecce. Definitely will use Flavours again.....

We had a tremendous cooking holiday with Flavours Puglia in mid September. The villa, an old hunting lodge, was very comfortable, set in beautiful grounds. Our host, Monia, was brilliant as were our two chefs, Antonio (our teacher) and Hugo (who prepared delicious evening meals). There were eight guests, two couples, three friends and a lovely solo traveller (two gentlemen and six ladies). We all admitted to wondering what it would be like to spend a week together - but the common love of Italy, good food and having fun brought us together as a friendship group. We laughed until our sides ached. So much so, we have all booked together for Flavours Sicily next Autumn. We can't wait.

Amazing holiday! Aged in our early 50's myself and a couple of friends booked the cooking holiday is Puglia. We has the best holiday ever, perfect balance between fun, relaxing and learning, the organisation is like a well oiled machine. The villa was stayed in was stunning, even better than the photos on the website. We met some fantastic people, a mixture of couples and solo travellers, met friends for life, and the whole group have booked another flavours holiday all together next year! If you are a solo traveller, do not hesitate, I would go on my own, so friendly and inclusive. Run do not walk to get booking!

The painting trip to Tuscany was an utter privilege. Great villa, amazing food, superb host and teacher, and great trips out. Couldn’t recommend this enough to anyone who already paints or who wants to take this up for the first time. Felt looked after from the minute that booked the trip

This review is on the booking process. I am yet to go on the holiday.
I booked a specific holiday week to cover my birthday. As the first birthday on my own (single, empty nester) I wanted to be away and with people so was thrilled when the Tuscan cooking holiday I had been eyeing up had one space left. I swiftly booked It on line (Sunday). Received confirmation, yippee! I then went ahead and booked the flights and my travel insurance. Was going to book airport parking too but thought I’d do that another day. The next day I received a call at about 11 am from Flavours to tell me that unfortunately the holiday wasn’t available as the last space had been double booked. I asked how on earth this could have happened? The caller was disinclined to tell me but eventually I got an answer, that there system needs to be manually reconciled by a human and as it was a Sunday there was no one doing so until Monday Morning! I know, crazy! I then asked why it had taken 2 hours from opening to let me know. I received no answer to that one. I explained that the week I had chosen was done so to incorporate my birthday. No other options did and tbh I wanted what I booked. I then spent the next 2-3 hours researching their other holidays, flights etc but in the end had to settle for moving my holiday by a week, but don’t worry we will get them to cook you a cake!! It’s not about a blooming cake. Yes they offered to refund me all the penalty charges I had to pay and so they should! (although weirdly when I received the funds it was £1 short? Admin fee?). No offer of any other compensation at all for all the inconvenience, their system failure and that I’m now taking a holiday when I don’t want to. I was really disappointed at how I was treated. I suspect that the other client who booked was called first and was either a retuning client or kicked up such a fuss that the sword fell down on my side.
I am now not looking forward to my holiday tbh. I am concerned that I will end up with a room in the basement or looking at wall as they really didn’t seem to be bothered by how the situation made me feel.
Volume 2 to follow once I’ve taken the holiday. Fingers crossed!

I’ve been on 2 holidays so far with Flavours and definitely recommend them for anyone wanting to travel alone and enjoy different experiences. Whilst I’ve given a 4 Star rating (I hardly ever give full marks as believe there is always room for improvement 😊) both holidays were wonderful! 👍
My first trip was painting in Tuscany and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The tutor was brilliant, the villa accommodation lovely with a super views, gardens and a big pool 😃 We had trips out which gave us material/inspiration for our art plus excellent local meals which added to the whole experience. Our host and cook couldn’t do enough for us ( very receptive to feedback) so all in all a great holiday 🥳
This year I’ve been on another painting holiday but this time in Scotland. Once again, great fun with a brilliant tutor and likeminded fellow guests. The food was amazing (included fresh produce daily from property gardens) and we were treated like royalty! Weather was mixed but no-one can control that which makes it even more interesting.
I’m due to go on my 3rd Flavours Holiday in a few weeks in Marrakesh painting and really looking forward to it. Definitely recommend Flavours 👍

What an excellent holiday. Great tuition, great food, lovely place, very well hosted. My first Flavours holiday, but not my last

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my second holiday with Flavours holidays. From the moment I booked everything felt easy and stressfree anyone I spoke to was so friendly and helpful answering any questions I had. The holiday itself was amazing, exactly what I was hoping for and more ….everything ran smoothly from the transfers to the villa, the stay at the villa and the outings we did plus the tutoring in my chosen hobby , photography. It really felt like they thought of all the small details that make a big difference.
It is rare these days to find a company that genuinely cares about their customers but that’s exactly how this felt. I came home relaxed happy and already thinking about where I can book again.!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my week cooking holiday in Sicily. I travelled alone and although most of the group came with a friend I always felt included. We were a group of 10 women ( by chance) we gelled and had great fun.
Our host , Claudia , was excellent as was the chef, Carmella. We learnt a lot and ate very well.
The villa was isolated with no villages nearby but I was happy to relax by the pool and our evenings were spent talking over long meals.
There were 3 excursions, 2 of which included restaurant meals. My only comment is that it was too much to visit Siracusa and Noto on the same day.
I hope to have another Flavours holiday before too long

My review on my holiday with Flavours starts back in July 2022. After lots of research I chose Flavours for a singles holiday selecting Cooking in Tuscany.
It was amazing from start to finish. The accommodation was a rustic farmhouse in the middle of the Tuscan hills(views were amazing) and the cooking lessons were great fun and yummy.
The staff were incredible and nothing was too much trouble they became like family as did the group. We had some lovely trips out to San Gimignano and Volterra and a wine tasting class.
Wonderful memories made.
This year I again went with Flavours for a Pilates holiday in Sicily and was not disappointed.
Yet again the accommodation was spot on. It is not 5* but is rustic, charming and clean with lots of character. We were a small group of 5 for the Pilates and there was a group of 6 for cooking.
I had never done Pilates before and the instructor Ruth took her time with me whilst also providing a more advanced class for the others.
We had 3 trips out and had some amazing meals.
As a group we all ate together and socialised really well.
The staff were again amazing and absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
Lots of Prosecco time , aperol spritzers and laughter.
Both sites had a large pool and places to relax.
Everything was so well organised from collection from the airports to the return journey.
Big shout out to Antonella in Tuscany and William in Sicily who looked after me so well.
