I purchased a property that had an over 10 year old Flamerite Odyssey. The fire had a fault and wasn't working so I gave Flamerite a call for advice.
I learnt during the call with a young lady that a remote control was missing, it didn't occur to me it even had one.
I managed to rectify the fault and called Flamerite again regarding the remote control. They agreed to send as a goodwill gesture which is a rare thing these days.
That's the reason for this review :-)

Had a flamerite fire for over 5 yesrs. Contacted flamerite as whilst cleaning I knocked the glass and the fire wouldnt heat. Customer service sorted it over the phone. A really good company with lovely fires.

We bought our flame rite fire about 16 months ago and it failed around one month ago during the cold snap. It started making a rattling sound somewhere under the log platform. I contacted info at flame rite and had a very quick response from Darren who sorted and engineer visit, with no fuss, no argument and stated it would be covered by warranty. The engineer has been today and I have to say he was very informative, knowledgable about the fire and quickly replaced the faulty part. For good measure he also helped us understand how to connect the remote controller. I am more than happy with the company and their staff and would highly recommend them as a company. If only all domestic appliance suppliers/manufacturers gave such good service it would be a revelation.

Had a fault with my fire there technician came out on a day to suit me and fixed it straight away no hassle.
The fires are so beautiful and there customer service is second to none.
Don't hesitate these fires are a great focal point i would buy again 100%

When we bought our house, we discovered that the previous owners had managed to lose the remote control to a lovely electric fire in the lounge. We had no information regarding make or model. Eventually, we were advised that it’s a Flamerite. We emailed Flamerite and attached pictures of the fire front and its concealed control panel. They promptly responded with the name of the model and the type of its compatible remote control. This really exceeded our expectations. Furthermore, they decided to send us the remote control free of charge after the Xmas break. We never expected such a fantastic outcome. The customer service is second to none and their approach is well and truly amazing. Thank you Darren. We would strongly recommend Flamerite for their exceptional products and exceptional customer service.

Absolutely fantastic service. We have had a flamerite fire since 2017 but recently lost the remote. The team were quick to respond to my online enquiry, identified the model of the fire from a photo, and found me the correct remote to purchase. Just before we made the purchase, Darren found a used spare remote and said he would post it that day FOC, the next day we had a new remote. What a star Darren is, very quick to respond, excellent service and very helpful. Would recommend Flamerite for their fires and their fantastic customer service. 5 stars all the way !

Always so helpful they were when I bought the fire and they have just replaced my remote control which broke said they would send one off and received it next day FOC although it was a few years old so grateful to them as it is so unusual to get genuine and helpful service these days. Im a carpenter who builds bespoke media units & Used Flamerite for the last 4 years. Must have purchased around 20-30 fires off them over the years and always been happy until the last 2 I’ve had that have came out damaged (both in the exact same place? I addressed the issue both times and first time ended up fixing the fire up myself taking a huge bow out the front of the fire, I took it on the chin as never really had an issue with Flamerite.
The next fire I ordered (3 weeks later) I had exactly the same issue again which they tried to then blame on me and take no responsibility - my client noticed the issue and asked for some sort of compensation as Flamerite couldn’t rectify the problem for 3 weeks and the fire delivery date had been moved back 2 weeks due to stock problems. They again tried to put the blame on me even though I’ve opened the fires the same way on every fire I’ve ever purchased and never had an issue.
Really disappointed with the customer service when something has gone wrong and the loyalty they have shown for my custom over the last 4 years. Will be looking for a new supplier going forward and would suggest anyone using Flamerite to consider when things go wrong they don’t care and blame the end user.

Hardly used since purchasing in the Spring. Seems like a good product but installation and operating instructions very sketchy, had to work out things for myself. Remote control for heat and flame effect is a square ugly monstrosity, hate it.

Can highly recommend the Payton 1000, it looks beautiful.we purchased the fire having been told the after service is first class .
She was right,,, we had a couple of issues after we installed it . We had to wait a couple of days ,got a phone call from megan ( lovely and friendly) and grant called the next day and sorted them out for us 10/10 for him ,he was so polite and helpful .
So glad I picked flamerite fires .

All I can say is that this fire is far better than anything we have come across. Stunning solace electric inset fire. We wanted something that looks like a real flame fire and I was blown away when I saw this in the shop and was told it was electric as I was convinced that it was gas, it really is that good. Also I rang the manufacturer for some advice and they were really helpful. It was worth paying the little bit extra for this quality product.

Our Arlo, fitted by Superior Fire, B'ham has failed twice since installation in February. The first failure was solved by a new PCB. We now have to wait ten days, for another engineer visit, to see what the issue is now. This is not great service but we will be patient. It's a shame; the fire looks great, is quiet and efficient. But we don't have money to burn on things that are unreliable.

Purchased 2 fires from Flamerite on 2 different occasions - both products are superb but what has impressed me even more is the after sales service. When I ring they always answer immediately and the technical support is first class. We required spare bulbs and they sent them by post immediately. Best company I have ever dealt with.

We had the E-FX 1500 fire fitted just before Christmas and we love it! It is, in our opinion, by far the best flame effect fire on the market and we looked at a lot of fires. The flame effect is very realistic and with the reflective glass at the back of the fire it makes the flames appear as if they are coming from in between the logs which I have not seen on other fires. What sets it apart from other fires are the chunkier logs, rather than thin slithers of wood, and with the addition of LED’s inside them giving them the appearance as if they are glowing. It is a far more realistic look.
We had many conversations with Megan at Flamerite who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as was Josh. The advice and service they provided was outstanding and the whole customer service received was exemplary. We had a few minor issues with the lights on the fire and Keith the engineer came out and sorted it for us. He was very polite and tidy and sorted the issues out.
I would definitely recommend Flamerite.
