FedEx were great. Got it a day before it was due, delivery man was lovely, very polite. Would definitely prefer over Aramex and NZ Post.

This week they dropped my parcel off to a rural pit stop and it was signed for and marked as delivered! It isn't delivered to me so stop bluffing that fedex is efficient. Absolutely useless I shld have received parcel yesterday and as usual they havent delivered. The only service they delivered is hopeless..

Fedex is so useless they manage to make NZ Post look good - and that is saying something!
Very fast to get parcel from USA to NZ, but it all falls down once it gets to Auckland; meaningless tracking updates that continue to say 'it's on it's way' when it patently is not, no response from customer service contact form on website, waste of time calling their phone number as that is just some call centre in the Philippines(?) who don't know anything and quite obviously don't care.
Takes longer to get from Auckland to a provincial North Island town than it does from USA to NZ.
And that's just for personal parcels.....waste of time for business as they deliver your parcel but it takes a week or more to get invoices for the freight charges and customs certificates!
Oh and woe betide you if your contact email address changes from the last time they contacted you, as despite numerous contacts via phone and email asking them to update the email address they continue to send documents to the old address they have on file.
It is quite obvious that this is a broken organisation where nobody cares about their core business.
FedEx are by far the worst…
FedEx are by far the worst transportation group I have ever dealt with. They deny all claims that equipment was damaged, and then pass the blame onto the last mile contractor, who also denies that damages occurred in their care and that blame FedEx. And the whole vicious cycle repeats.
They don't care about their reputation, and they don't care about your freight. If damages occur (which we have PROOF) then expect them to pay a MAXIMUM of $2000, if they will EVER admit that it's their fault.
Avoid using FraudEx, because all they'll ever do is take your money, and provide substandard services AND excuses as to why they WON'T honour the claim. They love to obfuscate their terms and conditions with various one-sided clauses most of which automatically dispels them from paying anything.
By far, FedEx is the WORST freight company ... EVER!

waiting on a parcel to be delivered, like you guys, after contacting them on 3 occasions still not getting anywhere.
They said there driver could not find the address, have they not heard off "goggle maps".
Still waiting. like some of you have said, might have drive to Auckland and pick it up myself.

I am not happy!!! My package was meant to be delivered on the 3rd of December. I called up on the 4th and they told me today.
Checked the tracking and it said 8:30-12:30.
12:30 came and went and now it's saying before 6pm. I called them up and asked where my package was refused to help. Just said they will check it out and call back, they didn't.
Stick to you schedule and stop fuffing us around!!! We have better things to do. This is nz, not America .

Takes 2 days to ship from Canada and…
Takes 2 days to ship from Canada and then it sits in their East Tamaki warehouse for 5 days. Paid for expedited shipping and then all of a sudden changes to economy when it arrives in NZ. Customer service is useless. Have to drive to the depot to get my stuff in time.

We wonder why our shipments take so long and cost so much more. Well here's a good reason for what I am currently experiencing.
My shipment left Hong Kong and all I get on the tracking is there is a clearance delay (absolute rubbish) it is because you do not want the customer to see the ridiculous journey and wasteful cost of shipping and fuel to get to mainland China 130 Km away.
This is its current journey, Hong Kong to Japan, then to Guangzhou China, 130 Km away from the start.
I had to update this because I am so angry as the latest update has just arrived in Narita, Japan again!
The latest update has gone backwards for the second time. It is now in Singapore, are you for real?
You have not only delayed my shipment by sending it to a country nowhere near me. It's now been to 5 countries and still no sign of it going anywhere near my destination and at what additional cost of that shipment paid for.
This is deserving of a zero-rated review, it is pathetic, especially when you hypocrites beat on about being carbon zero by 2040. A great example of that hey!
So. I have decided you will get poor reviews with updates on every shipment you send on ridiculous journeys, split my shipments up or just poor service which will be every shipment going by the last 4 years I have had to endure with you.
I will let you know, I also have two more shipments on the way with you clowns currently and you will be getting many updates if the same happens to those. The reason for such a damning review is from years of failure from FedEx, this is by no means a one-off issue, this happens to 99% of my shipments. I spend over $50k per annum on international shipping and I have had enough.
I have given up being lied to by your customer service team, so poor reviews will continue until you fix a poor, broken service.

Yes, another review that starts with "If I could give zero stars, I would".
Maybe Trustpilot needs to rethink its policies to allow zero star reviews - there might be more honest scores for many companies!
Had an expensive consignment on the way from Fed Ex.
Already delayed because Fed Ex's billing department had dropped the ball with sending out Invoices, but was scheduled for delivery tomorrow (5th June).
After a lengthy phone call with "Customer Support" (which is a miracle, because Fed Ex now HIDES their phone number on their Website), I was ASSURED that the delivery would be TOMORROW (5th June).
I was LIED to by the operator, who told me the goods were still physically with Customs, and it was unlikely that they would send them today.
So I leave and go about my day.
As soon as I'm gone, I get two missed calls from presumably the driver, and when I'm back home, there's an E-Mail saying that the delivery was attempted, but that I wasn't home!
If Fed Ex hadn't LIED about the scheduled delivery date, this wouldn't have happened.
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
If Fed Ex isn't a SCUMBAG COMPANY that REFUSES to allow THEIR CUSTOMERS, who in this case paid over $1000 for the delivery, to TALK TO THE DISPATCH TEAM TO MAKE SURE I'M HERE TO RECEIVE DELIVERIES, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED.
So they'd rather WASTE THE DRIVER'S TIME, WASTE MY TIME AND KEEP ME PRISONER IN MY OWN HOME WAITING FOR A DRIVER TO ARRIVE, and they'd rather PERPETUATE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN HISTORY than offer anything decent.
CHANGE YOUR WAYS, FED EX.

Do not ever use Fedex....the pickup was missed, the next day I called to re-arrange and they said the cutoff for collection had been missed. They then tried to say it would be picked up between 9 and 5 the following day.....when I complained about that, they promised (on the phone) 9-12.....and then put it in for 9-5pm anyway.

I used to think FEDEX was elite, I was wrong, FedEx close my parcel in the states, then tells me to contact the shipper to send another one, the shipper then sends another parcel, it arrives in East Tāmaki with delivery date as 08/01/24, as of today, my parcel does not have a delivery date anymore, it’s been “delayed”, exactly what happened before my parcel was “lost” over in the states. So because this happened before, same exact steps, I know by Monday the 8th of Jan, my parcel will be lost and FedEx won’t do anything about it. Their customer service here in NZ and overseas with the 0800 number is honestly the worst service I have ever experienced, NZ POST being who the are with their reputation, beats FedEx by a MILE!!! cmon FedEx, DO BETTER!!

Avoid at all costs. Claim my package >$25k was not received in country but still ask for duties.
Visited in person to speak with a manager only to be told too busy. Crooks!

Dreadful service
If I have a choice with no star rating I would’ve. International priority parcel sitting in East Tamaki for 3 days now and still waiting. Blames NZ couriers, saying parcel has already been collected by their 3rd party courier but these two together is a disappointment! Dreading every time when using this company. DHL is highly reliable, no stress they deliver on time and the customer reps actually calls their 3rd party couriers to deliver on time. The reps in FedEx are like politicians, all promises but nothing done and some rude.
