I went for the wheel swap with my Volkswagen CC. The price quoted was good, but I wanted to make sure it was the final amount. Kai explained that it was, as long as the wheels on my car were structurally sound—no buckles or cracks.
I think that's perfectly fair; you can't expect Kai to take the hit if the wheels you're offering are damaged. I knew my car had taken a couple of hard hits on both front wheels thanks to the terrible roads we have down south, so an extra charge was understandable.
Kai was very helpful throughout and even showed me the buckles in my existing wheels—and they were pretty bad.
The swap was done quickly, the total price was fair, and I was very pleased with the service.
I've seen some reviews mentioning that "the price changed," but I’d suggest discussing any potential extra costs with FAW before agreeing to the job and letting them explain their pricing. You really can’t expect to bring in badly damaged wheels and not pay a bit more than the listing price. They’re decent people, and they’ll happily explain everything to you.

Bust a tyre on a pothole and tyre centre couldn’t fit a new tyre as alloy was buckled. I called First Aid Wheels who went above and beyond - immediately lent me a wheel and tyre to get me mobile then mended the alloy I thought was beyond repair and finally fitted the new tyre I’d already blught elsewhere. Cannot thank Toby and his team enough

I came here after reading the reviews in here and it was absolutely great to have a fantastic experience with professional experts who are honest and treat customers with integrity and respect. I had 2x 19" OEM wheels that had tyre blowouts due to a pothole. They checked the wheels immediately and then diagnosed the issue and showed me, then with only 45.mins left until they closed they immediately fixed my wheels and had me out the door smiling and confident that repairing wheels in the future will be a pleasure!

Great value and speedy wheel refurbishment. I live a couple of hours away and the team at First Aid Wheels organised a simple exchange to avoid a return journey or loan wheels. Easy exchange and swap over, even happy to add new tyres I supplied. Thanks!

I used the alloy wheel exchange service and have to say that it was very well organised. I simply contacted FAWHEELS with my wheel type and condition then went from there. My new or exchange alloys are absolutely fantastic, the change over fitting service was fast and I found all the staff were friendly and experienced. With everything becoming expensive these days I also thought the cost was very reasonable too, I would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking to get their wheels refurbished.

Had agreed a price for the swap of my Bentley wheels. When I got there the back left was buckled to the point it could not be repaired. Downside I had to pay for a 2nd hand value of the wheel on top, which was not cheap. They did replace the wheels and they were lovely. Great service

Excellent experience from start to finish. Everything was explained clearly, photos sent and evaluated.
I ordered 4 exchange wheels with new tyres for my SAAB 93. Travelled down from Cheshire and all fitted within 1 hour. Staff were friendly and helpful. No surprises on the bill. First class in all aspects.

I drove from Essex to exchange the wheels on my Merc for some black ones to match the black paintwork. It only took an hour to do the job and the results exceeded my expectations. I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks

These guys are great, and the service they offer is very convenient to say the least. To get a set of alloys refurbished, you'd usually have to take it down to get done, and wait a few days. Although First Aid Wheels offer a service like this, they also offer like for like swaps. This means that, if they have your alloys in stock, they'll refurbish them to your liking, and then you simply go to collect them and trade in your existing alloys. This is extremely convenieent, and saves you from making two trips! If they find that any of your alloys are damaged, e.g, buckled or corroded, then they'll charge a small fee, which in my opinion is fair.

I am very happy with the results of my alloys, and would highly recommend First Aid Wheels based on my experience using their service.
