Lack of security and very aggressive staff with insulting accent
A Jason Isbell event was cancelled…
A Jason Isbell event was cancelled twice over two year period. Eventually requested refund. Money was transferred to an obsolete account which I had expressly told them not to do. They will resell the tickets but I have potentially lost £60. Do not deal with these people unless you are prepared to not get your money refunded to the account of your choice.
Show was amazing but staff were rude
Show was amazing. Theatre is beautiful. However, staff were extremely rude and borderline aggressive. There was no signs or people saying you can’t take food and drink in. However, once you got to the door they try to confiscate and bin all food and drink. With the rise of living costs this is absolutely awful. Going to the theatre is a luxury and expensive. It is not unreasonable to take in your own food and drink. They tried to take ours away from us but we ended up taking it back and putting it in the cloakroom which on its own costs £2! There is no need for the rudeness and aggression and if the show had not been as amazing as it was this would have completely ruined the experience for us.
I will never book this venue.

On entrance to the venue,all my drinks,sweets snacks were removed from my bag and thrown in the bin in front of me.told i cannot take them in...
I was there as the doors opened.
I wasnt given any choice to go back outside and eat them then come back in....
THEY WERE REMOVED FROM BAG AND STRAIGHT IN THE BIN WITHOUT MY CONSENT.
i go to venues,buy the ticket and like to spend lots on programes,ice creams and souveniers of the shows.
Only thing i like is to have snacks and drinks of my choice that no venues sell.....

Refund policy for rescheduled events
Very disappointed that Eventim Apollo doesn't refund booking/admin fees (in my case a whopping GBP13.50 for two tickets at GBP30 each!) when an event has been rescheduled. I have had to cancel a few tickets of events rescheduled due to COVID but no other venue I have dealt with has this policy. When an event is rescheduled the ticket holder has no control and should not be penalised.
Staff are rude and abrupt
Fantastic venue unfortunately the staff let it down. They are extremely rude and abrupt. They talk to people like dirt. The show was amazing so that helped ease the disappointment when we first entered the Eventim Apollo.
The venue was really bad
The venue was really bad. The staff were not helpful or friendly. The staff keep shouting at people. Also the staff did not help people that were not well. It was not very well lay out. There was no room when waiting inside for go in. The staff did not give out much water when it was so hot in there.

So the event is cancelled but they don't provide a refund on booking fees for something they can't fulfil (yes its buried in the booking conditions) Understand if I can't go but the fees are not insubstantial and should be refunded if they can't provide the service. Beware. Very disappointed
Apollo lost/stole my umbrella
I paid to check in my umbrella at the clockroom at Hammersmith Apollo and forgot to collect it when I left. It was expensive and had sentimental value. After two phone calls to the Apollo and one email to the lost property address - none of which were responded to - my friend went to pick up the umbrella and was told it was no longer there.
Question 1: Does Eventim Apollo have a policy for left items? If so, what is it?
Question 2: Why do you have an email adress for lost property if you don't bother responding to it?
Question 3: Why do you find it permissable to charge a fee to store items in the cloakroom if you won't take responsibility for them?
Eventim Apollo Access Box Office
I am disabled and spent over a week literally for the first time ever using up all my mobile call minutes in an attempt to purchase theatre tickets for the Eventim Hammersmith Apollo as the website clearly instructs people to do if they need disabled access tickets. The calls just rang and rang with the usual 'all of our operators are busy' messages...in one case I hung on for 60 minutes straight before giving up! The phone line continues to connect you to the recorded message saying operators are busy even after the box office is closed wasting yet more time and money for callers. Finally got through today after another 30 minute wait....only to be told that they have now sold out of access tickets...I guess disabled people are not wanted at this venue. I suggest people go to more disabled positive venues like the O2 instead!
