Etisalat service technician horrible not good since I installed my connection 4month ago I’ve been facing issues connecting a new device because of this I need to call Etisalat at least once a month. This mr khan bilal came first Time and solve the problem and told me to call him personally when next I face same issue. If not if not he will make Etisalat to charge me I face same issue and call Etisalat he was send again he told me he will make Etisalat charge me so I will call him personally next time and I was charged. Not good at all. During Etisalat friendly visit I was informed my router will be changed I’m still waiting why will this technician make me have unnecessary charge?

The worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with in the UAE. Their customer service / sales people are totally disingenuous. They will not disclose in detail what the cost will be. In fact they lie. I asked to downgrade to the eLife unlimited starter pack (as they wanted to increase the sports pack by 80 dirhams a month).
I specifically requested a non commitment contract (paying an extra 20 AED a month so that I can cancel without any penalty) so the customer service agent said yes that is done and you will get an email shortly.
I received the email and immediately it was obvious that the agent deliberately had put me on a new 24 month contract instead of what was agreed. So having rung the helpline (the next to useless virtual assistant simply could not help) I had to drive to a physical store to discuss. They said they could not do anything Instore for me and they would register a complaint and someone would call me in 24 hours.
After a protracted amount of time I got a call and the agent said he would review my call with the first agent then get back to me.
Cue more waiting... after another 24 hours I got a call and they confirmed that the call recording did indicate that I wanted the non commitment contract and accepted that the agent was wrong in what they did.
So, this agent then said he would correct it for me. After a few minutes I get an email confirming the change... BUT... this agent had decided to add a router on a 24 month contract in addition to just downgrading my line to a non commitment contract.
Cue another visit to the store... again “we can’t help you sir, we will lodge a complaint”...
I get another call just now. This time the agent says they can’t do anything and will have to email the agent who did the change to get the router cancelled otherwise they would have to cancel the whole request and start from scratch again (why do I need a new router when I was just downgrading my existing contract is a mystery to me)...
I now await the agent who added the router without my acceptance to call me and cancel the router from the contract.
I’m convinced the customer service agents are being deliberately misleading and at time just plainly lying to customers.
It is a pity DU is not available in my location otherwise I would have just told them to cancel the whole contract and I’d gladly take my business elsewhere.
Very very poor service. I would not recommend this company to anyone at all.
Shameful and abusive
This is the worst, most deceitful company I have ever had to deal with, and employees who trick customers. In the US, customers are protected from misleading representation by firms, and I was bullied this business.
Last month I got an unsolicited call from an Etisalat agent asking if I would like to upgrade my plan. While not really needing one, after spending 20 minutes on the line with an agent, who informed me of all the additional benefits, I agreed. I just received my first phone bill under the new program, and it turns our their agent had been very specific in defining all the new benefits I would be getting by increasing my monthly payment, but did not once specify that “you will lose your benefit of unlimited calls to the UK”. What does this mean? It means my monthly phone bill turned into an amount that is my usual annual bill. What used to be an unlimited phone calls package to the UK where my family are turned into a 100-200 dirhams per day cost, over the course of a month. When I made the complaint and someone listened to the call, they said “the agent told you you will be entering a new package so you should have known you are losing the benefits of your old package.” I responded that when an agent goes through the specifics of everything new in my package, but not ONCE stated I will lose a feature that costs hundreds of dirhams a day if not activated (Etisalat admitted that not once did the agent warn that I will be losing my unlimited calls, though simply said you will be changing plans, so you should have known better).
No, if I am getting a call to upgrade my account, and Etisalat does not specify that I am losing features by upgrading, then that is abusing the fact that the customer knows less than the agent. In the US we are protected through consumer protection laws, and are not treated this way by agents who abuse customers. If an agent is calling to upgrade a customers account, they should not only talk about the added benefits, they should also discuss each of the features that are being removed. If the whole story is not covered equally, then this is abuse of customers. It destroys our personal finances because of misinformation by Etisalat representatives. Shameful, and abusive.

Worst telecom service that I ever seen, doesn’t have the minimum manners to renew my offer to the next month even if I’ve enough balance. My Etisalat app is an another utter failure. Only god knows what the app is exactly meant for?????🤷🏻♂️

Look back to all the reviews already given by Etisalat customers, you can see that Etisalat didnt even bother to reply, that says everything about their customer service strategy in place. First of all forget about paying bills online(quick pay) it doesnt work. 2nd, the employees will try everything to sell you new packages but stop calling you or responding to your calls, if you only want relocation. I am out of the country and unable to pay my bill of only 387 aed due to their faulty online services. A telecomunication company having faulty online services sounds like a joke.

I'm really very frustrated and tired by the attitude of these people. And I would say it's the worst company to take an Internet connection with. I had already been stuck in a really bad situation in the month of November'20 wherein I was ready dealing with some really bad employers. And had to immediately leave the country as they had canceled my Visa without even notifying me and when I called Etisalat to cancel my account, one of their executives/agents told me that it was canceled and I left with a free mind. Even my Visa had got cancelled and I left the country so there was no consumption after Nov'20. But when I came back one of an Agent called me and asked me to pay him AED300 and the whole procedure took place like the way it does and then suddenly after 3 months I see that they suspended the connection again. And since that day I have been getting so many threat mails and calls to pay an amount of AED 2800 something for no reason. And these customer executives calling and irritating me again and again. I'm so tired of telling them stories and complaining. I tried writing on their mail but their server blocked me. I even asked for a settlement by paying for the month of Nov'20 and then they said you can pay AED 400 first and then we will file your complaint and when I asked them for something in written they said they won't be able to provide it until I pay. Is this a Fraud Game going on?. This has been a horrible experience for me and in my opinion, you should never get a connection from them.

It's sad reading all the other reviews and having a similar experience, knowing they cant even be held accountable, they win, we lose, they take advantage of this and absolutely do not care (only pretend to) about customers, I have had multiple issues with them where I have lost money and even after being the good customer I get hounded daily either by their sales staff to buy a VIP number or by them to pay my bill (which I have always on time), it is ABSURD.
