Fraudsters
Fraudsters! My partner booked the Escape Lounge at T3 Manchester. They asked for flight time, accepted the booking and gave a lounge access time just 25 mins before the flight! Complete con artists! Needless to say we will get a refund or make a small claim via the Court!
Dont bother with the lounge unless you want dim lit seats that are rubbish
I pre booked the Lounge before we flew
When we arrived at the lounge I asked to be placed by the runway, a more brightly lit area, I was told this wasn't possible as all the seats were taken. after a trip to the loo it was evident this was not the case as there were an abundance of seats there with no reservation. We were sat on a low table and because my husband has arthritis I asked to move to a higher table.
We had been there an hour; I overheard a conversation between a member of staff and a visitor that she was a single booker but her friends were due in the lounge and she would like to sit with them
we were asked to move to a small table further up and it became evident that we had been moved to accommodate the group that wanted to sit together, having to move 3 times is not what I call a relaxing experience that is promised.
When I complained to the lounge they told me as i had booked with Bristol airport i needed to speak contact them, i did twice and surprise surprise no response.
Bristol airport is another level of bad service.
This was awful
This was awful - we tried to get in the MAN lounge but they wouldn’t let us in. Apparently we had to go to some queuing system but that didn’t work at all - we scanned a QR code and nothing !! So we never even got in. Don’t even try it’s not worth the hassle.
Don’t waste your money
Honestly, not one bit surprised at the poor reviews for escape lounges at Manchester Airport.
I’ve used them twice before this visit and both of those were excellent but my god how down hill can it go? VERY!!!!
Walked into the lounge and it was like I’d gone back to the 70s. The air con wasn’t working and it was 30 degrees outside, so just walking in made things uncomfortable.
Breakfast choice was bacon (swimming in grease), scrambled eggs and beans. That was it!!
Barely any drinks on offer and those that were there, warm and just not acceptable. And the men’s toilets was just covered and smelt of urine.
You’ll be better saving your money on this booking and just using the airport facilities.
I’ve complained twice and they’ve not even bothered to come back to me. They take your money; give a poor experience then just fob you off. Disgusting!! Never again!!
Escape Lounge at Manchester T2
Booked the Escape Lounge at Manchester T2. Extremely limited selection of food for a Monday lunchtime. Alcoholic drinks limited, it’s not quite the open bar that you might expect you’ve paid for. It was particularly busy and they actively enforce the time limits, so if your flight gets delayed it’s tough luck. Wasn’t particularly impressed. Raised concerns with the Manager on Duty on the day. Tried to raise a complaint by emailing them and didn’t get a reply. I then tried to raise a complaint through the ‘Contact Us’ on their website and they’ve not replied to that either. Reading some of the other reviews ignoring customer feedback appears to be common practice, which is probably why they’ve not claimed this profile on Trustpilot.
Awful Experience Executive Escape Lounge Manchester Terminal 2
Had a free upgrade from the 1903 lounge to the Executive by Escape on the 3 Jul at terminal 2 Manchester Airport.
We thought, what a treat going to a brand new lounge, couldn't be further from the truth.
Food was undercooked and we witnessed the chef handling various raw ingredients with her bare hands, not washing before, in between or after.
Made a complaint on the day and online through the correct site, only to be ignored.
I just wish we didn't accept the free upgrade and stuck with our original booking.
Guys, dont waste your money, was awful.
Don't waste your money here.
Don't waste your money here.
They're charging £29.99 for access to the Escape Lounge – Express Breakfast, but there's a catch hidden in the small print:
"You can access the lounge for up to 1 hour before your flight time."
So, if your flight departs at 7:00 am, you can't even enter until 6:00 am, but by the time you've checked in, found a seat, grabbed some food and kept an eye on the departure boards, your flight will probably be boarding 20–30 minutes later so you'll need to leave the lounge and make your way to the gate, which could easily take another 10–15 minutes.
In reality, you're paying £29.99 for just 15-20 minutes in the lounge—assuming there's a seat available and you don't have to queue up.... it makes it a very expensive bacon roll!
I think I'll save my money and join everyone else at Pret instead.
Impossible to cancel.
They make it impossible to cancel despite the website saying you can cancel 24hrs before hand. The customer service line can't cancel and there is no cancellation form on line. Theres just a contact form that can take 10 days for a reply. The reply can and said to cancel on line.
Judging by the reviews the company couldn't careless.
Do not book security fast track as an…
Do not book security fast track as an add on as offered, you cannot retrieve the booking once paid for!
Go to Macdonalds instead
Waited patiently in a que to pay a walk in fee of £110. Despite the soaring temperatures on the day I was greeted by staff member Ruth with a icy cold reception. Taken into an empty lounge where it seemed there was few reservation cards on the table (lounge was fully booked on the website) and asked very politely whether I could sit on a lower table because I had a bad back. Was told it was all reserved but sitting there for 2 hours nobody sat on the lower seating.
Our flight was delayed by 2 hours. We were almost finished with our drinks when told very abruptly that we had to leave because she needed the table but she said we could finish our drink. We moved table and were then confronted by a manager who told us we had refused to leave. This was a lie! Lounge was empty at this point by the way Other customers commented that we had been treated unfairly. We then finished our drink and left.
Side note. Aircon awful. Young bar staff member was being rude to her colleagues in front of customers. Toilet not cleaned.
Food was okay
Escape lounge has now been relocated to…
Escape lounge has now been relocated to gates long haul 1-19. Doesn’t accept Ryainair or EasyJet apparently but takes your money when you book with car park and fast track even though you have given your flight number. Food cold buffet only stale bread and croissants.
And drinks in plastic cups! We only
Noticed that there were no Ryanair flights on information board so asked the incompetent staff telling us gate 37 when in fact it was gate 50 completely different building other end of another building. Can’t get back to terminal very easily and with lack of guidance from airport staff. Never again it’s not worth the money or time ladies and gentlemen
Bristol lounge
Bristol lounge.
Not worth a £5 never mind the actual price. Food is laughable, seating broken.
Avoid the Stansted lounge
If you’re going to the Stansted Escape lounge I wouldn’t bother. It’s been moved to near the gates for long-haul flights, so if you fly Ryanair/easyjet etc it’s of no use to you.
It’s also offering very little, no hot food, very little cold food.
I would not recommend going here, even if it’s ‘included’ with other options as a bundle package and certainly do not pay the £20-40 for a guest pass.
Disappointing.
John Smiths advertised on the website but not available, lady said thats the other bar. Guinness managed to get 1 cold one then the other not refrigerated. (Warm Guiness). The staff weren't that helpful either .Lady who checked us in was nice but the others not so .Personally I prefer the old Aspire lounge ,this was trying to be up market but failing desperately. Food was OK. Sandwiches were a bit stale . Not value for money . This was Bristol Airport.
Not an executive lounge .
A sad example of people pretending this is a VIP service, I’m a frequent traveller used this lounge for years , it now supports all the old T1 lounge traffic so it’s full , the poor staff can’t deal with the volume and the poor customers who paid to access soon realise that the exorbitant entry fee would have been more well spent at one of the food vendors outside the lounge . I get access for free but choose to have a nice coffee outside where it’s actually more peaceful. Do not buy entrance it’s like an IKEA cafe on its busiest Saturday. This is not an executive lounge .
Rude man in escape
Just in the airport now. Rude staff told we are full ish to capacity Go and scan outside if we can get you in we call you. Not even a thanks. Customer service ? This would be a great place to show your staff how not to do it. We had Amex plat so access should be straight in.
I feel sorrry for him he needs a holiday or a p45
Avoid - if you need service
We booked the lounge then over 30 days later they were fully booked that date. We had booked 120 days plus in advance.
Our son suffers from severe autism so we use lounges to help him and out family.
We don’t want special treatment but why let us book if the lounge isn’t available.
Now we’ve made a compliant and no response. Nothing. No communication.
1903 Manchester airport lounge
⸻
⭐ 1 star
My confirmed booking at the 1903 Lounge at Manchester Airport was cancelled due to overbooking, which is entirely within the company’s control and completely unacceptable. Customers should not be penalised for poor capacity management.
Although a refund was issued, the only “compensation” offered was a 20% discount valid for 12 months, which is effectively meaningless to me as I will not be travelling again within that period. Offering a time-limited discount after cancelling a confirmed booking due to your own error is not reasonable or proportionate.
Cancelling a confirmed service in this way demonstrates a clear lack of reasonable care and skill and caused unnecessary stress and disappointment immediately prior to travel. The response from customer services has been inflexible and dismissive, showing little regard for the inconvenience caused.
I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking, as even confirmed reservations clearly cannot be relied upon.

Its 6:30am and its like a disco in the Escape Lounge at Edinburgh airport. You ask the lovely staff to turn it down or off and they say they can't. Why would anyone find a disco at 6:30am relaxing. It's just ridiculous.

There were two queues to get in even though we booked in advance. Gone is the fresh bread, instead they have the cheapest of cheap bap rolls. The jam and marmalade is awful too making the supermarket basic range seem like pure luxury. The coffee machine has been out of action for months. Instead guests can enjoy the experience of dipping their teaspoon into a catering-sized tin of Nescafé. The Escape Lounge experience is one I could no longer recommend. Their offer has been value-engineered to the point of extinction. I feel for the staff that work there.
