Rented a car from Copennhagen airport …

Rented a car from Copennhagen airport from these folks and was charged £357 for a small scratch that was 35mm long that i had either caused or failed to spot when the car was handed over to me in a dark garage at the rear of the rental centre.

The guy said everything was ok when i checked the car in but later after getting to the airport i received the charge via an email for 3000 DKK.

I asked for proof the car was actually damaged when i attended the hire centre the following monday but the car had been re rented and as alaways its your word against theirs and they have the deposit in there account already ......

The cost of repair was would be nowhere near the £357 charged and this is daylight robbery as they are charging for repairs that they have no intention of ever carrying out !

Avoid hiring if possible

Enterprise Old Kent Road, London - FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Enterprise car hire at Old Kent Road is FANTASTIC - Always!! From the Manager Aaron to the other staff we have encountered, it has always been a fantastic experience. They are efficient and service is always timely. We have been hiring cars from them for many months now and I can honestly say that their attitude is always 'can do' or if they do not have cars they always break it to you gently.

I have always taken my time to observe how they deal with other customers, and they are treated with respect no matter what the issue is.
To be perfectly honest I asked myself if all staff at enterprise had this excellent attitude or was it just Aaron and his team? To be honest, I think Aaron and his team go over and beyond their remit in ensuring that customers are happy.

If Head Office at Enterprise Car Hire ever read this review- you need to acknowledge how good Aaron is at his job and promote him to your Head Office Team - he is truly a asset to your business. He takes his time to find out what the customer really wants and he delivers- always!!

If I had a successful business like Enterprise car hire I would go all out to ensure dedicated, hard-working and sincere staff like Aaron are kept happy, supported and rewarded for going that extra mile.

The customer service they provide at Enterprise Old Kent Road is the best I have ever received from many companies I have dealt with and also better than a lot of big brand names' customer service.

I've been ripped off

I've been ripped off for 230 quid from enterprise as storm Ophelia hit the day I was bribing the car back I brought the car back on the Wednesday and now I'm massively out of pocket and no response from enterprise no receipt I will be taking this further now.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

I hired a Luton Van from their Embankment Wellingborough branch on 31st May I took the van back on the 2nd June with the indicator repeater light on the wing mirror damaged. I had got some advice from a local Ford dealer who told me the cost would be 26 pounds so thought I should be given some of my 200 pounds deposit back. I have phoned on numerous occasions and found out that the repair was done on the 5th June at the cost of 65 pounds. I am now owed 135 pounds and it seems that Enterprise does not want to pay me back. I have been told that they can keep my money for 90 days and I don't believe I will ever get my money back. This company is just after your money I will never hire from then again they will cost you dear if you use them and just do a little damage to their vehicle.

NEVER, AGAIN, LOT BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE. AVOID

What a terrible company! £35 admin charge for writing a letter redirecting a dart charge, not only that but they withdrew the £35 from Westwood depot and HO also withdrew £35 - of course both amounts were taken from my account instantaneously! Do they return the unauthorised £35 from my account - of course not! This will take a few days they tell me. So here we are in 2017 having to wait days for money taken from my account to be reinstated. Hogwash! They are just fleecing the unsuspecting punters. Would I go there again ABSOLUTELY NOT! This review is posted for my wife Carol.

Nicest service!

Just returned rental at Edinburgh airport. I was upgraded to a higher class car. The vehicle was really great. I was served by Andrew and on return by a gentleman, whom name I don't remember. Both of them were really efficient and got my on my way really fast. Really good customer service, smile and pleasant conversation with both employees. It will be my first choice for car rental from now on and I recommend to everyone!

There are many Hire companies to chose from - but NOT this one!!

I needed a large van to exhibit at a show. Since Enterprise in Shrewsbury are local and they had the right vehicle I booked a week before needing 3 days hire. A bonus was that they would collect me and bring me back. Charges were not too bad either. On the day, I received a series of calls. each one asked for information, some of which I had already given. Just ONE HOUR before collection time they called again and said they were having trouble locating my home address on the internet and that since I wanted to pay by DEBIT card rather than credit card this would be a problem. I offered a bank statement with my home address. NO!. I pointed out that my address is on my drivers licence. NO! The only acceptable thing would be for someone to pay by CREDIT card. I have never heard of anything like it and suspect some sort of scam...who knows? So I was left without a Van! Fortunately another Hire Firm have no such problems.
Meanwhile, my advice is...these shysters couldn't run a party in a Brewery and I will NEVER use them again!!!!

Avoid these this company at all costs.

Several weeks after I hired the vehicle I had £35 stolen from my credit card without my authorisation.
When I called them they told me that they charged me £35 for forwarding me a letter. The letter was a fine for £30.

Con artists.

TERRIBLE

I had a car accident and had to use Enterprise for the courtesy car while my car was being fixed. My car was picked up because it was undrivable, and I was given a 4 hour window for the courtesy car to be delivered to me. 4 hours later... no car. I called and they said 'someone will be there shortly' another 30 minutes goes by and the car eventually arrives. I had plans where I had to leave on time so this completely ruined my plans of the evening.
The car I got was a huge 1.5 diesel automatic family car. A Renault Captur. I was told on the phone I would get a like for like of my own car so that the fuel expenses are similar. I have a 1.3 petrol manual Toyota Yaris. I had never driven an automatic before and it was so hard! When I asked the man how to do it he just says 'well there's the go and stop pedals and the stick, I'm sure you can figure it out.' Brilliant.
As I had the car for over 28 days I had to take the car in for a safety check. I was told this would take 10 minutes. Which for the car, it did. Someone took the car done the tires and checked everything over so fast and parked it back outside for me. I was there for over half an hour. The man who served me was new and don't know what he was doing. So everything he done he had to call people over to check for him. I don't blame the man, because everyone needs to learn! But why was no one with him helping him? Poor team management! He even said to me he's never done this safety check before and didn't know how to put it on the system. At this point it's worrying for me, what if he does something wrong?
When the car was due to be collected it was just a nightmare. I kept being put on hold to check a calendar or diary or something and coming back saying no they can't get it. I had to make arrangements with staff members to hold the keys for me on a Saturday and hand them over to Enterprise between 10-12 when they come to collect the car. At half 12 my colleagues call to say they've still not come. I call enterprise and they said that it was in the wrong diary and they can't get it till Monday! Not good enough. I said NO that is not an option you have got to get the car today because I can't move it and my colleagues are not insured on the car to drive it so it has got to go today, do not give me time slots, not turn up then try to arrange for 3 days later!! He then said they would send someone right away to get it so they did.
I then get a call later that day to let me know there was not enough fuel in the car. That was completely my fault, with the excitement of getting my own car back I forgot to fill up the tank of the courtesy car! I said I'd take it to the petrol station and fill it up. The tank costs £38-40 to fill from empty and there was over half a tank of petrol there. The lady says, we will take £30 from you to fill it up. I went insane! She says that their fuel prices are higher than the usual rate. I said that's not good enough I will take the car and do it myself! She then said she can 'apply a discount' and bring it down to £22. Sooo why couldn't she do that in the first place? I then said the whole process has been a joke and I would like to place a complaint. She took down my details and details of what has happened and said her manager would call me. That was 4 days ago. Still no call.

I will NEVER EVER use these people again. The WORST customer service I have ever received, absolute joke

Very good, but comes at a price

We've always had very positive experience when hiring a car with Enterprise. The customer service is superb, they will even offer to pick you up or drop you off at your location, if you so desire.

The cars are mostly clean, and most of them seem to be fairly new. The payment and deposit works flawlessly, either online or behind the counter. The service does come at a price, though. Prices for a daily rental tend to fluctuate a lot, probably based on demand. They are definitely not the cheapest service out there, but they are very reliable.

Very disappoint cutomer

On 18.07.16 hire a van from Bexhill on sea branch for 24 hrs, been told on 19-07-16 my £200 deposit will be refunded and will be in my account in a couple days time, nothing happen until two weeks later, rung them Lot of times asking for my refund but always make an excuse, been told to get the manager (Sarah) to ring me back but never receiving any call from her, so went to see them in the office, again been the refund been done, what's a stressful to chase my £200 refund back.i never want to hire any car from this company ever again, think about the refund of the Deposit, it's so scary, stressful and worried.

Thieves

Airport staff must be on commission. Said we'd gone 300 odd miles over our limit til we told them we had photos of the mileage, then it turned out to be a computer glitch. Not to mention the extras we had to pay on arrival (200 odd). Glad I record and take photos of everything. Don't use them. Tinks.

Friendly and Efficient. Stress Free

Had a hire car from Enterprise London Standsted over the weekend. Car checked out by Richard and returned to Rob on Sunday. V friendly and professional. I was in the car within 5 minutes and the return took only a couple of minutes. Great when people know what they're doing and just get on with it. After nightmares at Europcar I'll stay with Enterprise from now on.

told on arrival no van for return journey - end of, no interest in helping at all. if you think that your booking confirmation/reservation actually means that you will have a vehicle then think again. To enterprise this doesn't mean they have to have a vehicle for you. Also if you think that booking the vehicle you want on enterprise means that they will actually provide you with that vehicle then think again. In fact you'll be lucky if they have any vehicles at all, as I found out. They then held onto my deposit for TWO WEEKS. watch out for this - enterprise will charge the full deposit amount to your Credit Card. other rental companies don't do this. Enterprise then hold onto your deposit as long as they can because they are crooks.

Very crafty approach to signing out your vehicle

I hired a van from enterprise, when I checked out the vehicle the staff member told me they were not bothered about marks you could polish out, the staff member was very laid back about the condition. The vehicle had not been washed or cleaned out prior to me hiring it. It had bad damage on the rear and I had to make sure she wrote this down. Also various bits missing and damaged which were not automatically pointed out.. Well watch out when returning your vehicle!!!!!They were out in a shot and were quick to point out a mark on the vehicle that I know I hadn't done. My fault for trusting the member of staff who checked out the vehicle. The mark was very light and on a plastic bumper but they proceeded to take £1150.00 off of me for a repair, that after consulting with a garage would cost a maximum of £89.99+ vat to repair.. To replace the whole bumper is only £125.00+vat which would have been total over kill on a rubber scrub on a small part of the bumper but shock horror not heard a word back and they still have my £1150.00 safely tucked away in their bank.. Be aware of the approach and go through the vehicle with a fine tooth comb when picking it up.. Also remember it takes an average of 4 weeks to process.. Not what the staff member stated when I was in the branch.. The staff member said they would advise me of the quotes prior to getting the repair carried out and it would be dealt with in a matter of days. The damage centre at Enterprise say this is not the policy so yet again a very confusing process that staff obviously make up to get you out of the door when they have taken £1150.00 off of you.....My advise is to pay a little more somewhere else and say clear of the cheap up front price as they have ways of recouping the difference, it would appear..

TAKE PICS OF ANY MARKS/CHIPS ETC

I work for a company as a driver that rents & sells commercial vehicles. My employer has an account with enterprise & they rent 'one way' cars regularly for me & their other drivers.
* I have found that if you find 'damage or bits missing' on the initial inspection with their rep, they either say that they are not bothered about it (see their evaluator) OR they will not let you write this on the white part of the contract before you sign it. They will however write it on the pink copy 'you' get. This, i was told is because the branch 'loses points' (not really what a contract is for).
* On occasions where their vehicle has been dropped off at our delivery destination (where we are delivering a vehicle), the contract is left with the keys at the reception. When we inspect the car & find issues, the contract obviously doesnt list them (as they lose points for not renting out a perfect vehicle). When the car is returned to another branch closer to our home depot its checked in with no issues but within a few weeks, a claim has been put in against our company (& its not cheap).
THANKFULLY, we are wise to this now so we always take photos before we move the car of:-
* the car front & back
* perceived 'damage or missing' bits
* the speedometer (the contract lists this also)
* wheel locking nuts (make sure they are there in the first place)
* window chips however small

The latest car i had last week had 3 deep scratch marks on the rear bumper but nothing on the contract. Im now waiting to see if a 'claim' comes my employers way so that they can submit my pics.

IF YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO HIRE FROM THESE COWBOYS AT ENTERPRISE, MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PICS or can afford to pay for something that wasnt actually your fault.

Peckham Car & Van Hire

Enterprise arranged a vehicle for me within 6 hours of being involved in an accident. All of the staff at the Peckham bank were very helpful and friendly. Even when the car had to be returned, they offered to pick the vehicle up from my work or even have someone drop me back if I decided to deliver the car myself - Fantastic service, would strongly recommend.
