Excellent service and 100% recommend .. I bought a photon it failed within a week but Ebc.co.uk not only fixed it they managed to get a brand new motor. Very happy customer will definitely order again from here

I bought a CYC photon conversion kit from here in early June/ late may. There was a longer than expected wait for delivery; this was however a normal consequence of ordering something of this nature in the summer.

I chased EBC about my order 3 weeks after my purchase as this was the estimated delivery time. This was when I got the unfortunate news on the order backlog at the manufacturers end. Mark had returned my call by the end of the day and explained the situation, he also explained that the customer support systems had also been revised in this time and were now going to be much more prompt and clear with updates on their orders and help.

The support provided has been excellent. Both Yousif and Mark are very knowledgeable and have been incredibly helpful in making sure I get the right kit for my needs.

After I had installed my kit myself, at about 100 miles on the odometer, there was a malfunction with my kit. This likely could have been from my own user error or otherwise. This wasn't an issue for long! I emailed their support and they were quick to respond with the solution and almost as quick to repair the problem under warranty within their shop in Guildford! Back to fast and happy riding!

Overall, I feel like I am in good hands with Electric bike conversions. Very happy customer indeed!

I first contacted Yousif at Electric Bike Conversions (EBC) about purchasing a CYC Photon kit in September 2023. I took a while to decide but I was impressed with the swift informed response to my various questions, and eventually put in an order on 6 May 2024. Annoyingly, just days later, CYC announced the A series battery which looked a much better fit for my project. EBC immediately adjusted my order, swapping out the B-52 series battery for the new A-52 series. The motor and battery were sent separately from the manufacturers to EBC and then immediately on to me. I was kept fully informed throughout and given tracking numbers for both items, for both stages of the delivery. Everything arrived on time, was well packaged and as ordered apart from the battery charger which was supplied with a USA grounded input cable - the correct UK lead was immediately sourced and sent out. EBC, Yousif, and latterly Mark, have been most helpful during the ordering process and after delivery. I have no hesitation in recommending EBC.

Friendly folk and I truly hope the business grows. But my experience has not been great to date. Just my experience though and I know they are trying to make changes. Onward and upward.

Product had a fault ( dead battery) just 14 months later. They refused to do anything except offer a 7% discount on a replacement. Its rubbish, don't buy it. They do not care that you wasted your money.

Bought a CYC electric motor conversion from this guy. Arrived Ok and worked well for about 4 months then developed a fault. He does not ever answer the phone and will generally ignore emails, As he is the only recognised CYC dealer I contacted them to ask if he was still trading. No response. Eventually he got back to me saying couldn't get parts. Google maps also says they are permenantly closed. Just don't bother with them/him. I'm now going to send my broken motor to E Motor repairs in Cumbria. They will try and get the parts from CYC under warranty.

Just received a reply from Mark at EBC 10 months after contacting them. Trying to convince me that the 1800 other customers have had a good experience. Good for them. Mine was eventually fixed by Alex at E motor repairs and he also got the parts from CYC under warranty. Go there instead people.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
they are just a re-seller for cyclotricity and Make YOU deal with their supplier.

My kit arrived with missing parts that were delayed 22 days, then the battery died on the first ride out.

EBC will (very slowly) fob your problems off to cyclotricity who take ages to respond. then they get attitude when you question their practices.

avoid them, buy direct.

I easily ordered my conversion kit from this website and received the kit within the indicated time. Customer service has been top notch for pre and after sale service. Months later after using my kit, a cable connection came loose. I emailed the customer support email and received a replacement part in no time.

I am so very happy with this company, the kit works wonders and they are great to deal with.

Placed order in mid-August and by approaching mid October I still do not have my electric wheel. Turns out these guys have no stock and drop ship from China. Will not take phone calls and tell lies about delivery dates. Save yourself a packet and order direct from China. Avoid this outfit.

Bought an e-kit for my bike on their sales persons advice and it turns out it wasn't compatible. This mean't a lot of time was wasted.

I bought a different bike and different fork for the bike kit and set it up and was generally underwhelmed by the power which was also said "to be fine".
The dropouts on the bike snapped and had to be welded back together.

I had a faulty battery too which was replaced. The customer service team will fix faults which is good and they have been really good for these issues however the poor advice about what bike to get resulted in a broken bike. Get a steel frame bike or one with thick sturdy dropouts.
