I have a really good experience with them, it's been years they do my Landlord Certs and this year I was able to try their electrical services. I was really surprised with their professionalism and they were very helpful in quoting the job in advance. I had the chance of their great employee Elvis to come and sort my issue.

I recently had a gas safety inspection carried out, and I’m very pleased with the service. The engineer was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. They completed the check thoroughly and issued the gas certificate promptly. Highly recommended!

I booked for the exact day that I needed my gas certificate. They came at the right time and also got in touch with my tenant the day before so that was very professional service. I also got my certificate within 2 days.

Shocking service from this company. Needed an EICR and booked in for Friday morning. The day before the cancelled the booking and instead could only come in the afternoon. In the afternoon they failed the EICR for a blank being missing on the fuse box and flagged up a lot of other minor things and mentioned the whole fuse box would need replacing. I put a blank on myself which literally took me 2 minutes and got another company to complete an EICR and it passed the second time.

I was under time pressure, so needed this certificate and the EPC asap and I must have called them up close to 10 times on the phone chasing up both these certificates. They answered up until 3pm on Friday and after 3pm no one in their office bothered to answer the phone. I spoke to the engineer who was friendly and did answer his phone and he advised to call back on Saturday morning after 9am and no surprise again there was no answer after trying numerous times.

On Monday, again after calling numerous time I was promised the EPC certificate which still didn’t arrive. Every time I talked to someone in the office a someone kept telling me they would chase it up but from the time of voice, he didn’t sound too bothered in terms of the urgency of this.

Finally On Tuesday, after a couple more calls I managed to get the EPC certificate sent to my email. Should it really take this long for a simple certificate??
Anyway I received a quote for remediation work for the electrics in the property totalling up to £900. After a little while, I received another email mentioning the original price was incorrect and the new price was £1050.

I have to admit it has been a big headache and this company is not being run very well in my opinion. I have been using them previously for 2 years to do the gas safety certificate and never experienced these issues before so I’m not sure what has happened here.

A bit of advice, the staff who do the Admin need to be a bit more proactive and it shouldn’t take a customer calling up numerous times to make things happen.

Let’s just say I will not be using them again in the future.

Very friendly and professional electrician who can solve your problem in an efficient manner. The electrician also managed to give me a quote for a rewire job while he’s here. Plan to have them over again. Hope the same quality job can be delivered again. Thanks a lot.

I booked an appointment with Efficient Home Energy Ltd and paid for it in advance. No one showed up at the scheduled time, so around 12 o’clock I called the company. The receptionist said she didn’t know what happened and couldn’t reach the engineer. I explained that I had to leave after 12 o’clock, but she insisted that I wasn’t at home which was not true. I even have camera footage showing I was there. She said she wouldn’t refund my money. I asked to speak to the manager, and they replied that they  want to give my money back either. Later, she booked another appointment without informing me. I only saw from my camera that someone  out side my door while I was at work. I tried to contact the manager and sent several emails, but received reply. In the end, I had to speak to my bank l raise dispute  get my refund. The company even told the bank I wasn’t home, which was false. Their tone was aggressive, and I decided not to rebook as the whole experience became a nightmare. Eventually, they asked me to remove my review and offered £15 as a goodwill gesture, but only after I removed it. The company then took the money back😞

I originally booked an energy assessment in August, because I saw they had availability on the day I needed the work done by. Efficient Home Energy canceled my slot at the last minute and I had to push the appointment out to September. The engineer finally arrived on time and conducted the inspection professionally, but that’s where the positives end.

Since then, I’ve been chasing the promised 48-hour turnaround for my certificate with multiple phone calls on the 9th, 10th, and 12th of September. Each time I was assured it would arrive “by tomorrow,” yet it still hasn’t materialised. Staff can’t—or won’t—provide a definitive delivery date.

Their customer-service attitude is abysmal. No one takes ownership, and there’s zero accountability or escalation path. I’ve now waited over a week past the rescheduled appointment and remain without the certificate I needed.

If you value reliability—both in booking and follow-up—look elsewhere. Efficient Home Energy may do decent on-site work, but their after-care and online availability system are completely unprofessional and not worth the stress.

Spent the time to do all measurements and survey the apartment.

I booked them for EICR and an engineer came, did some checks and explained to me a few things. All good, very good communication so far. But that's it, nothing after that, no reports, no follow up. I wanted to proceed with them for a fusebox upgrade, I never heard back from them. I sent email, no response. I called a week later, the woman on the phone told me that the person responsible for those appointments was busy and will call in 5'. That's it never received a call back.

So to summarise, I paid £99 for someone to show up, he used a flashy thingie on some sockets, told me that I need fusebox replacement (I already knew that btw, thanks) and disappeared. So yes, leaning towards a scammers website
