Reasonable, but be aware ULEZ.
Up until the last part, the experience was good.
We booked, we had good communication.
We advised 30 mins prior to arriving at Heathrow, we were met and the car was collected. No issues.
Be aware that you will need to pay for ULEZ if applicable and also the airport charge - understandable.
Upon return, they track flight, also advise when in baggage. We did this and we were met after we departed airport. Again no issues.
However, the car was driven the day before return, in a ULEZ zone. It was only through checking dashcam footage we had seen this. We were not notified and therefore would have received a fine.
Thankfully we noticed in advance.
Technically TWOC (Taken without Consent) if you hadn't agreed to this.
They agreed to refund the ULEZ, however this took 3 days and numerous phone calls to receive.
Not a bad service, nor great, I don't think they care if they get you any fines, nor will they let you know. Would strongly advise dashcam and review footage upon collection.
I am extremely disappointed with my…
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience using this company’s Heathrow parking service.
I left my car with them while my family and I were on holiday, trusting that it would be looked after and returned in the same condition it was handed over. Unfortunately, when I collected the vehicle on our return, it was clear that it had been damaged while in their care. This damage was definitely not present when I dropped the car off.
Finding your car damaged after a holiday is stressful enough, but what has made this experience worse is the lack of accountability and clarity around how the damage occurred. When you leave your vehicle with a professional parking company, you expect a basic level of care and responsibility. Sadly, that expectation was not met.
This situation has also been particularly difficult for me personally, as I am currently awaiting a knee operation and already struggling with walking and mobility. Dealing with unexpected vehicle damage, inspections, and the stress of resolving this issue has added unnecessary strain at a time when I should be focusing on my health.
I want to make it clear that I did not want to escalate this situation or leave a negative review. I would much prefer a fair and reasonable resolution, such as a full or partial refund or appropriate compensation for the damage caused while my car was in their care. Unfortunately, so far, this has not been handled in a way that reassures me as a customer.
I hope the company takes responsibility and improves how situations like this are dealt with, as this experience has left me very reluctant to use or recommend their service in the future.
Scam baiter company
So ..firstly having read all the reviews after our booking. We should have been more cynical.
This company we now know is run by to Pakistani brothers who after the years..and after reviewing reviews.
Will ..1) take your car home and use it as Thier own personal taxi.
2) rob your personal items from your car.and then state policy
3)charge you a premium ..when in fact they park your car in a field.
4) the police are fully aware of this rogue company..... Just look on comp ies house to see if it's there.! It's not
Scammers .. fraudsters and condratictory serial liars.
They smashed our car. Didnt return out calls. .
Beware.!!
Heathrow airport is fully aware of these scamming duo.
Your car will be rat food
Used this company in December. Wasn’t the smoothest of drop offs but we got it sorted in the end. Picked up our car a week later and the lights weren’t working properly on our way home, we thought perhaps since it had been sitting for a week a fuse had gone. Fuses changed - still a problem. Bulbs changed - still a problem. Finally had a garage take a look at it - multiple wires have been EATEN by what they think are rats. £300 worth of damage. Where the hell was our parked!?
Excellent service.All
Excellent service.All
Went well. The driver met us at the airport and picked up the keys.On the return we called them after getting the suitcases and the car was there by the time we got out .Reasonable price too.highly recommended.
Extra charges & poor communication - avoid.
Car was returned with a lot of debris in the footwell but otherwise in the same condition as drop off.
However there were two major issues (full details below):
- Extra charges
- Harassing phone calls and texts from the company on multiple different numbers
At Heathrow - 2 x £7.50 charge to be paid on dropping the car off and picking up for the short stay car park - only evident after receiving the confirmation email.
The main issue was the communication from the company. The day before I received a text and call whilst at work from an unknown mobile number. I am unable to have my phone whilst at work. On the drive back I received two further calls, was able to answer the second one and verbally confirmed the arrival time as per my booking.
I then received four further calls from the same number. 2 at 19.29, 2 at 19.30, followed by a text saying ‘please confirm!!!’. I replied to say that I had already spoken to them (on the same number) to confirm.
On the drive to the airport I called 3 times from 20 minutes away to the number on the confirmation email (as instructed) and it went to voicemail each time. I was then scolded by the driver on arrival for not calling & had to show him the call log!
This theme continued on the way back. At 2000 I received a call from a different mobile number asking if I had made my first call to say I’d landed yet. This was an hour before I was due to pick up the car and as we were taxiing in the plane. I was asked to call back when we were through security. 20 minutes later I received a call from the original mobile asking the same question & when I explained I had already received a call I was told ‘that was the driver he shouldn’t have called you’. 11 minutes later.. a call from the driver again. By this point we were through the passport check so were able to go up and collect the car. On arrival we were asked ‘what took you so long?!’.
Overall I would not recommend this company - significant extra charges that are not noted prior to booking & I felt harassed each side of the holiday with calls. The various people working for the company clearly do not talk to each other or have a centralised system for confirming details!
Excellent service
We have used Edward Lloyd on numerous occasions. They are friendly, professional and reliable. Wouldn’t use anyone else. Would highly recommend.

These people helped us out big time when we were scammed by another meet and greet at Heathrow. They were very helpful and pick up was very straightforward. Would definitely recommend and use again.
Great service
Great service. Friendly, courteous and really quick. Would definitely use them again.
Friendly service and prompt … however…
Friendly service and prompt … however we have received two ULEZ fines caused by them when they moved to car to the long term site they use . £180 in total . Plus they collected the car from the Atrium hotel instead of us dropping it at the airport in the morning, which obviously incurred a taxi fee .
The fact you pay extra for the car…
The fact you pay extra for the car park, £15 in total should be something the company picks up as others do this.
The guy was the same who took the car and dropped back. Simple said, 'nothing is free in life'...yet he used the passenger car seat to recline in and the car heating before we came back...yes we noticed!!
That was the most conversation I got from him. Not so much as an hello, thank you or check the car with you etc.
Somehow they also clocked up around 40 miles on the car...did the car also go on holiday?!
Just use one of the off airport parking ones who drop you in a coach, it's much easier.
Don't bother using anyone else for Heathrow Meet and Greet
I park for Heathrow a couple of times a month on average. Use Edward Lloyd parking every time, they are reasonably priced, courteous, prompt and reliable.
A call from them to check you are on the way, clear communication about pick up and drop off times and places.
I have used may other Meet and Greet companies in the past, none of them come near to Edward Lloyd service.
Highly recommended
Awful
Awful. Told us on arrival back in the uk to meet him at the drop off area rather than in the short stay car park (where we dropped off) as this would avoid the car park charge. One week later and we have a fine for £70 for our car being in the drop off area! They have been useless in their communication response.
The guys were very attentive and…
The guys were very attentive and communicative. Adem was waiting for me on arrival and was very helpful when i realized i did not have the key card for my car. He set up the App to have control and all was good. Arranged to meet where there was no cost for collection.
Great service, thank you.
A joke of a company.
A joke of a company.
On drop off we were forced to pay £20 cash. But some rough looking fella called maps.
On collection. We noticed our rear taillight smashed.
They said it was like that on drop-off. No accountability.
The worst of the worst. Beware!!
Heathrow T2 - £80.00 Parking Fine on return from Holiday!
Heathrow T2 - thought we would try this service out. Good communications when we made booking. Called driver in time slot prior to arrival advised that drop off location changed to middle drop off bay T2. We arrived , met by driver all fine. Upon return we duly called driver who informed us of another change in collection location now Hilton Hotel. met driver, car caked in mud but otherwise OK.
Got home found £80 (£40 if paid in timeframe) parking fine for the T2 drop off zone! No one told us we had to pay online and that the driver OR Edward Lloyd would ignore this so 2 weeks holiday greeted with a fine. Emailed EL but no response at all , they dont want to know. Would I use them again, sorry No.
Car damaged beyond repair. Avoid this companyar damaged beyond repair
Car damaged beyond repair. Avoid this company
We left our car with Edward Lloyd Meet and Greet whilst on holiday. We drove our car to Heathrow and handed it over to the driver at terminal 3 in April 2024
It drove well and exhibited no faults. It was a Jaguar XK8. The driver checked it over and found no fault.
On our return seven days later, we called to say we had landed. They said our car had a “flat battery” and they couldn’t start it. They would not assist us, but we were to make our way to the yard in Datchet.
We paid £50 for a cab and arrived at the yard. We called several times asking for someone to come and speak to us. No one would come. We called again and someone said that they had tried to jump start the car and “because it was a large engine, they didn’t have anything big enough to charge it”! They said we had to call for assistance.
We called the AA, their mechanic managed to charge the battery and then tried to start the engine. It sounded like a load of rocks in a tumble dryer. We had to get the car removed and taken back home. Since then, we have had three mechanics reports all saying the same.
There was extensive damage, and there was a connecting rod through the side of the engine. We asked them how this could have possibly happened. They all said in their experience this was due to the car being forcibly over revved.
There would have been a considerable loud bang when the connecting rod went through the side of the engine so it could not have gone unnoticed.
The car is beyond repair.
We contacted Edward Lloyd several times and only once, after seven weeks and a visit from the police, they responded by saying “Unfortunately mechanical issues can arise at any time with any car, as per our terms and conditions we cannot accept liability for the issue that has arisen with your vehicle. Regards Shane”
This type of “mechanical issue” could not have just arisen by itself. The magnitude of damage to the engine of our car is considerable. Our lovely old car has now been written off.
They have never even tried to explain how the connecting rod went through the side of the engine. This is no small “mechanical issue”, and the noise alone would not have gone unnoticed by their staff.
All this damage was caused by Edward Lloyd, by their drivers, in their yard, whilst our car was in their care. They have been unhelpful from the start. Four months on we are still waiting for a refund after cancelling a further booking with them after this event. We are thousands of pounds out of pocket and this disreputable company simply does not care about their customers or their property. Please avoid using this company at all costs. This cowboy outfit is now being investigated by Trading standards.
Good value, reliable and car was as I left it on return
I used this company a couple of years ago at Heathrow with no issues.I booked them again for July 2024,but was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews(I needn’t be).Drop off was fine and the driver was very friendly.Upon arrival, they text me to confirm I had arrived and met me at the airport 10 minutes later. The car was as I left it.I will definitely use this company again.
Left keys on the car, unsecured, and just left.
Unbelievably insecure service. Our car was in the Heathrow T5 multi-storey ready to collect but no sign of anyone when we arrived. Tried calling multiple times no answer. Finally got through to someone. Was informed the car key was simply left on the front windscreen by the wipers!!!!! Not only that but the delay meant we had to pay an even higher car park fee.
Complete disregard for our car - it (or our contents) could have easily been stolen. Completely goes against the ethos of Meet and Greet. Avoid at all costs. You have been warned.
Lack of respect for my property
Booked this through APH and would be very wary of doing it again. My car was dropped off and all of my settings had been changed. Completely understand that seats and mirros...etc would need to be adjusted to drive the car.
But performance settings had been adjusted to high performance mode after I always drive in eco-mode. Mine is a high powered car, and it seems someone, during the care of Edward Lloyd, wanted to try that out. It disappoints me the lack of respect which has been shown for my property.
