Not sure what problem you have faced, but all our routes are tested once created and as they are GPX files and run on what are waypoints that are used on satnav devices they will only take you on roads between the waypoints. If you are still needing to use them please send us some screenshots of your problem and we will happily advice you on correcting any issues you may have.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review, all be it, it's not a great review but still it gives us a n opportunity to communicate with people who maybe interested in buying our driving test route files and this is the point why you have only given us a 1 star review. It would seem that you didn't pay attention to what you were buying and although we make this very clear on our website people sometimes overlook this point. The product we sell are driving test route files they are in GPX format and will work across all major SATNAV devices we do not sell a driving test route app, you either need to have a SATNAV device or as stated you can use them with the TomTom GO app that is available to download on the App Store or the Play Store it comes with a 7 day trial (this is stated in the documentation on our website). We aim to help people pass their driving tests and as such I would like for people to be aware of what they are buying and have no issue to explain here for them to read. I hope this response will help other to not make the same mistake as yourself but wish you good luck with your test.

Hi NYE, not sure why we only managed to get a 1 star review from you for a free sample that you have downloaded, It may well have been that you were unable to get it to work for yourself, we do understand there is a little bit of technical knowhow required, but we are always very happy to help out and guide people through the process along with the detailed how to use guide that is available on our website I am sure we could have got you sorted out. Any how if any one is reading this and put off, don't be we will be more than happy to help you out, and as the sample that NYE had was free, there is always a try-before-you-buy option on every test route that we have. Hope you've past your test NYE.
Poor use experience
The app proved to be extremely unfriendly and inconvenient. It only functioned within the test centre premises, making it unusable even in the nearby car park. As waiting directly in front of the test centre was not allowed, I had to park across from it, activate the app, walk to the test centre, and then return to my car just to utilize it. Furthermore, the app's navigation was unresponsive, causing delays that I couldn't afford while driving. Overall, my experience with the app was severely lacking in value.

Hi Tim, I think you have reviewed the wrong company, we have checked are records and have no customers called Tim also what you are describing is not what we sell. We sell GPX files that can be used in SATNAV devices or the app that we recommend to use them in is TOMTOM GO app which does not behave or work as you’ve described your issue. Additionally when we create our test routes we never start them from within test centres for the exact reason that you have stated that you are not allowed to practice in them. It’s upsetting for us to receive a 1 star review especially when it sounds like it wasn’t even for us but negatives into positives and all that I hope anyone reading this will appreciate that the product we sell works well and is not as described in Tim’s review

Very helpful, but...
I found the routes very handy to get used to the roads I was likely to meet on my Test.
My only quibbles which deny them the full Five Stars are firstly that there has been no "pruning" of the route, so the Track keeps records of how someone drove three times around a car park and you have to follow that route exactly.
The second quibble is that there's no dates on when the routes were recorded. One I tried took me through a housing estate with purple brick road surface and it seems very unlikely that that would have been on the Test route today.

Wouldn’t download any of the routes , tried everything and nothing worked . Luckily I passed first time anyway , but a waste of money in the end.

Hi Shay, we are sorry that you were unable to use the routes, but your review says you were unable to download them but we can see that you did actually download them, maybe the issue was that you couldn’t work out how to use the files, there is a full detailed how to use page on the website and enclosed in the zip file that is supplied is another copy of it, one issue we have come across is that people don’t know how to open a zip file which on some phones isn’t straight forward and requires some very basic computer skills, we also suggest that you do this on a laptop/PC. We also offer a free sample on every pack of routes that we offer so people can test them before purchasing.
However we are pleased to hear that you passed anyway, if anyone else is reading this review please feel free to reach out to us if you have any issues with our routes and we will talk you through it.

Hi Alex, of course we are never pleased to receive low star ratings but in your case it is a great opportunity for us to explain our service and product to customers. We offer Driving Test Routes to people to help them with their driving test preparation and we know these can great advantage on the day of your test. We do know how ever that the type of file that we offer is not straight forward to load into SATNAV devices or onto the TOMTOM App that is why we offer very clear instructions on our website and also we offer a free sample so that you can download it before making a purchase at no cost to yourselves. As with industry standard we do not offer refunds on digital downloads and this is clearly listed out in our refund policy.
In your case we can see that you downloaded the free version and actually downloaded it 3 times, the next day you then went ahead and purchased the full version and downloaded it 4 times you then emailed us and I will quote it "I have ordered the wrong route and unable to download as i do not own a PC or laptop, can you please refund" I am sure that you can appreciate that your responses and actions do not match the review you have provided but once again we do appreciate your feedback as it will hopefully help other learner drivers know the best way to use our product and be assured that we in no way are try to behave in an unprofessional manner but are here to help them with their driving tests. I have no idea what I even bought. I thought I was going to have the test routes for Sidcup so I could set up the Sat Nav and my students could follow the routes.

Hi Elizabeth, we will be happy to help you get these set up, The file you purchased is a GPX file, you can use these with all major SATNAV devices, we recommend the TOMTOM GO App as it is the most accessible for people especially driving students who wouldn't necessarily own a SATNAV device but they can use it on there mobile phone, however it sounds like you are an ADI Driving Instructor so if you can let us know which SATNAV device you are using we can send you the details of how to install the files on your device.

Hi Caroline, what we are providing is the detailed content of the driving test routes, these files are whats called a GPX file and they do require some level of IT knowledge to install on a SATNAV device, we recommend the TOMTOM GO APP as it is the most accessible for people, we are sorry to hear that you were unable to get it to work for yourself which is why we do always offer people a free sample, which we can see was the case with yourself, we will be very happy to reach out to you if you need some further explanation of how to use the files, one common mistake people make is that the download file is a zip file and does need to be unzipped/decompressed to be useable. once unzipped there is a copy of the how to use file enclosed to help you but do feel free to contact us and we can see if we can get the free sample working for you. many thanks for your interest in our product office@drivingtestroutes.uk
