I couldn't find how to get the routes to my Tomtom, and was unable to get the required response from the support, as I feel there is no straight forward way to reach out support team

We do provide a detailed “How to Use” guide on our website which walks through the full process step-by-step, including importing routes into TomTom devices via MyDrive. Most customers are able to follow this successfully, but we understand it can feel unfamiliar if you’ve not done it before.
We’re also always happy to help directly. We didn’t receive any support request from you, but if you’re still having trouble, please do get in touch and we’ll guide you through it personally — it’s usually a quick fix once we know exactly where things are getting stuck.

Very very fiddly to use. You need to have a Tom Tom subscription and then painstakingly upload the routs on a PC not possible on a mobile device. I gave up in the end and waisted my money 😡

Our routes are specifically designed to work with TomTom, which is widely regarded as one of the most accurate and reliable satnav systems for real-world driving. Unlike basic route apps, TomTom provides lane guidance, clear turn instructions, and consistent routing — all of which are particularly valuable when practising driving test routes in realistic conditions. This is why we’ve chosen to build our routes around it.
That said, using TomTom does require uploading the route files via a computer, which we understand can feel a bit fiddly if you’re not expecting it.
For future reference (and for other customers), we always recommend trying the free sample route first. This allows you to test the full process — including downloading, uploading, and using the route — before committing to a purchase, especially if you’re unsure about how it works.
We also provide a detailed “How to Use” page with step-by-step instructions to guide you through the setup process, which many users find makes everything much clearer and easier.

Avoid. I purchased multiple driving test route packs and found them full of inaccuracies. Some routes send you into road closures, private property with security barriers, dead ends, impossible U-turn locations, residents-only roads, and even illegal turns. One route did not work at all.
This is not a minor mistake here and there. The routes are unreliable and, in some cases, impossible to follow. That makes the product poor value and not fit for the purpose it is sold for. I would not recommend buying from this company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback.
All of our driving test routes are created from real test centre areas and are checked carefully before being published. However, roads do occasionally change due to temporary closures, new traffic restrictions, or local highway updates. When customers notify us of any such changes, we update the routes as quickly as possible.
It is also worth noting that the sat-nav apps used to follow the GPX files normally prevent illegal turns or restricted manoeuvres, as they rely on the latest road data from the mapping provider.
If you have encountered specific locations that appear incorrect, we would genuinely appreciate you letting us know which routes these were so we can review and update them if necessary.
We were also a little surprised by your review as our records show your first download was on 26 October last year, and you have downloaded nine route packs, with the most recent on 21 February. If you experienced problems, we would have been more than happy to help or investigate sooner.

Although we found that these are not the exact routes used in the driving test, they are still very helpful for practising in the test area. In many cases, parts of two or three routes from this app can combine to form one actual test route, so it works well for preparation. This really helped me to practise effectively.
The only issue is that if you lose track of the route during practice, it becomes difficult to return to it. Additionally, the app often freezes in such situations. The only option then is to return to the test centre and start again.
Reply to Driving Test Route App comment- I used your App from drivingtestroutesapp and took one month membership. You can't say, I have taken the service from someone else. I got the test route in my exam and passed it. However, this route was not available in your all 22 routes available on App. Be honest, please!!

Hi SS, not that we are unhappy to get a 5 Star review but we checked our records and you only downloaded the sample file for Cardiff from our website, this sounds like you went elsewhere and downloaded a Driving Test Route App, we sell driving test route files (GPX Files) which you can use with the TomTom Go app and you wouldn't have had any of those issues, we are systematic with all the Test Route Apps, plus are routes are all up to date, but like we said we do like a 5 Star review but guys this isnt are product to be honest.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the download process was somewhat cumbersome. Initially, I had to download it to my iPad, then email it to myself to finally save it on a PC. The instructional video on setting up TomTom and uploading files was extremely useful. We only managed to try out two routes, but fortunately, they were the same ones used on the test day. Doing the practice routes was a huge advantage, and I passed on my first attempt!

Miss leading - is this a scam ?
This is absolutely terrible. Please do not even attempt to purchase. They refused to refund after we contacted them stating it did not work.. IS THIS A SCAM ?. They create something where they don't have to refund you (as per Consumer Act) and are the reviews actually real ?. i can only post this review as factual. The website is completely misleading and should be taken down. They are exploiting young adults trying their best. There are platforms out there that actually work and don't use out of date software. We successfully used 'driving test routes app' . Excellent service with direct chat facility.

We hate reviews like this — and we’ve had a few — but they’re actually really helpful, because they give us a chance to clarify exactly what we provide. We don’t sell “software” or an app; we provide GPX route files of official driving test routes, which can be used with Garmin, TomTom, or free mobile apps.
It’s worth noting that this customer successfully downloaded the product four times — so while we completely understand their frustration, it does seem it was more a case of poor reading skills on their part rather than anything misleading.
We’re very transparent about what we sell, which is why we offer a free sample route for every town, so anyone can test compatibility before purchasing. And as our Refunds page explains, digital downloads can’t be refunded once accessed — that’s standard for this type of product.
So while we’re sorry this wasn’t what you expected, we hope this helps others understand exactly what we offer — and maybe even try the free sample first before deciding if it’s right for them.
And to anyone still wondering — yes, the routes do work, provided you actually know how to use a GPX file. 😉

Thought this would be a great way of…
Thought this would be a great way of gaining experience in local area and other area. Invested time and money into app to find complications with app whilst switched on using app. No voiceover or movement to locate where we were going. Not worth money spent even stopped to see if app would work. Didn't connect up properly. Tried settings to change still wouldn't work. Bit disappointed. So I have cancelled it as it's pointless using an app which doesn't allow to use it as a sat nav. Yes you can see routes offline. Once you download it flashes on screen and doesn't allow you to exit screen. Contacted customer support to tell me to re load app and change settings. Did this in car other time, still didn't work. Probably would have been easier to just use Google.

Salisbury Test Routes
Bought the Salisbury test routes a few months ago to use while supervising my daughter's driving practice pre practical test.
We found them to be really useful for giving our driving sessions added structure and to be pretty accurate, having heard from others the routes they'd been taken on during their own tests.
My daughter took her test yesterday. Although she wasn't taken on an actual route featured in the files, she had previously driven in all areas that featured in her actual test route, due to using the test routes beforehand.
She smashed it and was even complimented by the examiner on her lovely and confident driving.
We both firmly believe that having, and using, the test routes we bought here was a big contributing factor in building her confidence and her success yesterday.

You have truly summarised the exact point of the test route files that we offer, they give you structure to your private practice and although sometimes the test centre will change the actual route they are a combination of routes/roads they always use.
Kings Lynn
Spent 2 days in Kings Lynn driving all 13 routes, the app was helpful, however half of my sons test took place on roads not included in the marked routes. The Hardwick roundabout also is marked incorrectly on the app, sending you all the way around the round about to travel west on the A47 from either the Hardwick RD or A149, this route completely contradicts the road signs which send you straight over and up to a satellite roundabout that sits on the A47, this should be fixed before it causes a crash. Over all the app provided a decent amount of practice, though pricey if you remain subscribed to it for more than a month or two.

Hi Andy, Nice to get a 4 star review but I think you have confused us with the App, we sell GPX routes of driving test routes but we are not an app and we don't have a subscription service, plus we only have 11 accurate routes of Kings Lyn rather than 13 inaccurate ones. Still I hope your son passed their test
UK driving test routes are NOT…
UK driving test routes are NOT published anymore, so there is no way this app could know the routes unless they have actually driven on all of them during a test. Don’t waste your money. If you’re ready for your driving test, you should be able to drive on any roads without knowing what is coming up!
Further to the very polite response below, I woukd still say do NOT buy this app! Their ‘research’ is based mostly on guesswork; I am driving instructor and do not know of a single driving instructor in my area, that has been approached for details of test routes for this company.
Also, one of my pupils claimed that the app shows there are 8 test routes in my area, when in fact there are least 20. So you might learn 8 test routes, but still get a route you’re not familiar with! Save your money!
This is my 2nd response to this super sarcastic and patronising company! I’m not sure where you get your facts from, but I’m NOT from York?! It appears that your geographical knowledge isn’t as great as you think, so therefore my review is definitely correct.

You're absolutely right—UK driving test routes aren't officially published anymore. That’s why we spent years carefully collecting, verifying, and mapping them based on real test-takers' experiences, dashcam footage, and local knowledge. But hey, if being resourceful counts as cheating, we’re guilty as charged! 😅
Of course, if you're truly test-ready, you should be able to drive anywhere, anytime, blindfolded—though we really wouldn’t recommend that.
Our app is simply for those who want a confidence boost, local knowledge, and a little less sweating on test day. Crazy, we know.
