I forgot that when I purchased my domain that I instantly set it up for sale at NameCheap.com so when I first got the email from domainagents.com I thought it was a scam but after doing research on them, and contacting the site directly (never click links in emails!), I realized that it was legit and someone wanted to purchase the domain from me. Apparently when they searched for the domain to buy they seen that I had it for sale so it was an easy process for both, not to mention using escrow.com made it safe. Everything went smooth and within a few days I received the money and transferred the domain with no problems. Great job!

I used domainagents to purchase a domain for a new service we are launching.
I recieved an email from them on 13th to confirm they had received our payment and asking me to provide the TAG register.
I supplied it same day.
I chased them on the 14th, 20th, 22nd and 24th via the support email to see why it had not been updated.
As of the 27th I had not recieved a reply.

UPDATE: As a result of this review they submiited the reply below. At every point at which I emailed them my outgoing email had my telephone contact details on and I also raised a support ticket on their website, so I maintain they could have done far more to contact me, but it does appear there was an email confirming the change of tag that did not initially get through. The situation is now resolved but this was far from a smooth transaction.

I wasn't really planning on selling my domain but I received an offer and went with it. The whole experience really depends on the responsiveness of the other transacting party and the people at Domain Agents are motivated to get everyone paid. It took 1-2 weeks and now I have some extra money so that's cool.

Do not use this service. It is only a money trap. Everything is just automatic, you can extend and increase the offer, but nothing actually happens, eventually, the negotiation will end, and the deadline expires. You won't hear anything from their email support. They repeat simple phrases that the owner has been contacted, but are unable to prove in any way that this was actually the case. I have also requested that if the owner does not accept my offer, that they communicate their idea for action. However, none of this has happened. Finally, I asked for a refund of credit or money and received a reply that because I wanted to approach the owner again (which I did but nothing happened) there was no refund possible. They even deleted the case in my profile in the administration on the site. I recommend not to send any money to this company.

Once started, the business was smooth! The only problem was that the contact with the domain owner happened on the third try. It could be the seller non-responsiveness, but the contact is a part of the Agents game - isn't it!?

This company is legit. When Domain Agents first approached me about someone wanting to buy a domain I owned but wasn't using, I was wary and ignored the email. I'm glad that I finally looked into them. I sold the domain and the process was very smooth. DA helped at every stage and it was a very quick and easy process.

They mediated the transaction seamlessly & very professionally. It was a very stress free experience although I had an initial anxiety.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the support from my designated executive who kept me updated on the progress at all times.

Excellent communication and great work helping to sell a commercial website for me. DomainAgents negotiated an excellent sale price and they helped overcome a potentially significant glitch. The payout from the seller to me was quick and seal when we finally closed.

I was connected to their service via Namecheap trying to make an offer on a domain name someone owned. I was directed to DomainAgents where they wanted a $20 fee to middleman my domain purchase offer. Their website states if the offer expires they will give you a credit to restart the offer or use on a new offer. My offer expired and I never received the credit. Upon emailing them they said they would "look into it" and then ghosted me. It's now been 2 weeks and they still aren't responding. At this point I feel like they stole my $20. Will not be using them again. Complete scam and lack of transparency.

Edit: They responded here claiming I did not reply to their emails. I did. In fact, I sent multiple emails. I will reconsider my review if this is a one-time occurrence and they are more reliable in the future.

Good communication from DomainExpert but the escrow partner had clunky bank transfer instructions for international wire.

Superb service by Domain Agent. I was hesitant in the beginning but finally i got the domain. Thanks a ton
