Your offer will be taken by DomainAgents if the seller declines your offer. Is something not clear at all and is literally a scam.
Do not use their service unless you know about this.

When you make an offer, there is an upfront cost of $19.95 to engage our services and open the negotiation. It shows that you are serious and $10 of the credit is paid to the domain owner to review the offer. You only pay for the domain if you reach an agreement. We guarantee that we will present your offer and once the offer is presented, that credit is considered spent. We're sorry you were not able to reach an agreement with the domain owner.

These are a bunch of GANGSTERS they do it by giving you a pitch about how it will only cost 20$ which 200$ offer will be made. Then these come back with 5000$ for a Domain that hasn't been used in 20 years. PURE GANGSTERS STEER CLEAR OF THESE SO CALLED DOMAIN BROKERS.

Way to expensive for 0 service
You pay 19$ for each request and you don't get any dedicated "service" that an assigned agent does. It's useless and overpriced in my opinion. I got way further in either contacting the owner directly (whois request) or kindly asking hoster/provider to forward the purchasing-request.
DONT WASTE MONEY HERE!

Hi Fabian, unfortunately privacy laws make contacting German domain owners difficult. You were refunded when we couldn't reach the domain owners in question. We're sorry we weren't able to help you in this case.

I hated dealing with Escrow.com. Why couldn't we have just written a check for the whole amount or put the whole amount on a credit card? If it is because of some type of government regulation, then I wish that would have been made clear. If not, then it's you inconveniencing me because you can't control fraudulent transactions on your end, thus forcing clients to drive to a local bank, incur bank fees, and then wait 24 hours for everything to transpire because of wire transfer constraints.

What a scam!
What a scam!
They say they help you negotiating the sell of an already purchased domain while they are completely passive.
You send an offer based no information and simply tell you whether the owner accepted or not.
No counter, no insight on what could be the good price.
And if you complain you don't receive counters they send you one for 1M $
Just a waste of money

In your case, your offer was reasonable, but unfortunately the owner of the domain seems to have an unreasonable belief in it's value (or they are far along in their development and don't want to change).
