Awful experience. They billes me three times for the wrong medication and also failed to send me the medication that I'd paid for. It went missing in the post and despite me showing them proof from Ro... Mehr ansehen

Great LDN clinic
I get LDN prescribed from there and they’ve been good and reliable, not had any problems and have been with them a few months now. I would say the rates are affordable too which is a bonus. Everything was easy for me to do with them, the consultation was over the phone and the prescription gets delivered to my house. Perfect and accessible.
Dixons chemist on Main Street bridgeton…
Dixons chemist on Main Street bridgeton has honestly got to be the worst chemist out there, never got what you need, and the older lady that works there is definitely in the wrong job, never any urgency even when the queue is out the door, her attitude stinks, they couldn’t find my prescription and she decided to shout across everyone and ask what meds I’m waiting on, I don’t need to disclose the to a shop full of strangers, absolute joke of a chemist, KEEP CLEAR IF YOU CAN
PARTICK BRANCH - HORRIFIC!!!
PARTICK BRANCH - This chemist is unbelievable. Absolutely zero customer care, bad attitudes from most of them, talking to each other while serving customers and generally just appalling service. Rude, chaotic and slow. Seems like no one actually knows what they’re doing and no one’s in charge. Then we have the Pharmacist Justine Nugent who is aggressive AND passive aggressive in her manner! A very rude wee lady with a bad attitude.
Used this one for years then it changed management and it’s just a mess. It’s just full of unhappy people all standing waiting about for ages and ages. No one knows what’s actually going on.
The staff don’t seem to have any motivation they just look extremely unhappy and Justine very agitated to say the least.
I left the shop feeling very upset and frustrated at being asked loudly “what’s the problem” in front of a full shop. There was no problem only confusion over a prescription they have been unable to provide for weeks.
I will happily take my prescriptions elsewhere to avoid ever having to set foot in there ever again! Do avoid if you can.
An official complaint will be lodged with head office.
Bridgeton branch: dangerously incompetent
Bridgeton branch:
Was unable to go elsewhere until managing to switch today as nobody else seemed to have a supplier at all for one of my drugs. Thankfully that has now changed and I am finally released from this hell.
Part of their reasoning for having late and incomplete prescriptions every month (!) for 3 years (yes, really) was "we get hundreds of prescriptions we can't keep track of everything". Said in a tone of voice implying that this is entirely normal and actually it's unreasonable to ask otherwise. No. You are a pharmacy. That is quite literally your entire job. To not keep track of prescribed drugs is potentially extremely dangerous. I've reported them to the pharmaceutical council for dangerous dispensing practices and would urge everybody to get their medication ANYWHERE else. They are incompetent to the point of harm but have absolutely no intention of correcting or even acknowledging their issues.
If you do have an aversion to actually getting your prescriptions and think this sounds like a fun time be advised if you use the delivery service they do not contact you when it's been filled, they do not contact you when it's out for delivery, they do not contact you if you miss the delivery you didn't know about, and they do not contact you if there are any supply or stock issues.
If there are missing items they will all but accuse you of lying about it. They will not apologise when they later find them. They will make no note of this happening, and will not make any effort to get their act together and so each time this happens will come as a brand new surprise for them. How exciting!
They will not keep your repeat drugs in stock, no matter how long and how regularly you are prescribed them. Nothing will be ordered until after they get the scripts from the GP. The fact you once again require the same medication you have required every month for years will be a shocking revelation to them each time. How full of endless wonder their lives must be.
They will not order extra to keep on hand in case of supply issues. Not even if supply issues are a known problem. They will instead gamble with your health every month when they attempt to order *only* the *exact* amount needed for that month until they lose. When they lose this gamble they will not apologise. They will not even tell you. I hope the side effects from suddenly cold turkey ceasing whatever treatment you are on are bearable, or that someone else somewhere has some laying about. I have not been so fortunate. Let's just say that there are very good reasons doctors advise strongly against abrupt cessation of antidepressants. It's been 3 months. Who knows how much longer it will be now.
Anyway. Practice your telepathy first. You'll need it. If you're not a mindreader yourself I'm afraid you are s* outta luck. Maybe just hit up the casino instead for a more reliable gamble?
I have been on the phone for over…
I have been on the phone for over twenty minutes, listening to music. When a link was sent to pay for my prescription the link didn't work.
This company shouldn't have a licence to practice.

Karen was rude to one of my Friends who went there as they always do to have my scripts dispensed.said they were so inundated with so many to do that it would be the next day before they'd be ready despite telling her that I'd run out on one of my meds
& having said that it's also worth checking they have your requests in stock before handing your scripts over as they don't always have them.Customer service skills lacking.they have no clue.they've lost a good Customer in me where I've been going for years. Since they've changed names from Hands to Dicksons their Customer service has worsened.don't they care there are many other Pharmacies in the area to switch to that offer a much better relationship with their Customers?
Tollcross branch nightmare of a place
Tollcross branch dealt with my repeat prescription for about five months, service just got worse and worse.
Terrible customer service, lie to customers. Repeatedly “lose” prescriptions and good luck trying to get through to them on the phone would have better chance getting sturgeon on the phone.
Do you’re self a favour and steer clear
Bottom dicksons cambuslang
Do yourself a favour and move to boots before being disappointed by the service in dicksons.
Bottom dicksons in Cambuslang is full of inexperienced, rude & under trained staff looking for an argument at all costs. Waited in a large queue & the staff were rude to 80% of that queue. I asked a member of staff how do you make a complaint… she had no idea what a bloody complaint was, yet she’s in charge of handing over medication. Move to boots Cambuslang, they actually make you feel like a person rather than a nuisance.
Time to get your act together
Mine and my husband’s repeat prescription was put in bottom Dixons Cambuslang on 12thDecember ,it’s now after 4 on 16th still not delivered , I’ve tried phoning since yesterday and today I phoned and I was caller number 2 for 4. Minutes then customer number 1 for 36 minutes they are taking the mickey ,I’ve just came back to give update on my delivery I got someone to go into chemist at 4oclock and they were told they’ve to go back in 45 minutes as it’s not ready ,,really , they’ve had it 4days shocking
Prescriptions should be ready to collect
I collect my repeat prescriptions from 1024 Tollcross Road Glasgow G32.
Today I waited half an hour in this chemist to have my prescription found and checked.
For the third time this year, my repeat prescription for Gaviscon Advance ANISEED flavour could not be located and was not in stock. My record has been labelled for this flavour as mint flavour makes me sick.
For the third time I am having to return to the chemist to collect this item when it is in stock. Can this situation be remedied?
having a really poor experience with…
having a really poor experience with this chemist. Booked a private consultation. Didn't get a confirmation email, (spam folder checked btw) so had to email them to ask and then I got the confirmation. Had my consultation and got approved for a prescription - I once again waited for confirmation of next stage, but heard nothing. Had to send another email to ask what the next stage was..and at that point they sent me an email asking me to login and pay for my prescription. So I did that 4 days ago.
Once again received I no confirmation of the payment or any further notification of when to expect the prescription. So for last 2 days I've been ringing (which I discovered is pointless as no one answers in any dept) . My last email asking for an update never got answered, so I've no idea when to expect it. In fact when I log in to their portal it seems to suggest I haven't paid for it, which I have, its clearly shown on my bank statement.
Anyway, can't speak for the prescription itself, but their communication is extremely poor. Don't expect to be able to get hold of anyone to get any information.
Dixons in Cambuslang zero…
I would give Dixons in Cambuslang zero if I could. They repeatedly get my repeat prescription wrong. Items missing, and saying they didn't have it on their system.
It's time they got their act together
Poor service re delivery of medication
For the last three months Ive had difficulty having my medication delivered from Viewpark branch to the extent I've run out of medication. A few weeks ago I went in for medication I had run out of which had not been delivered and had to wait while pharmacist looked for it, date on box was a week previous. I phoned yesterday regarding a prescription which I was told was dated 30th November this now being 6th December and told script not made up yet, would be delivered next day but couldn't promise still no delivery by 5pm next day. Phoned and told it was in as urgent. Driver did deliver at 5.30pm but missing some of my medication. This is disgusting service when it comes to peoples health needs. Will be changing now to a more reliable pharmacy
Bottom chemist staff so rude to…
Bottom chemist staff so rude to customers. One in particular threw the tablets on the counter that she hadn't put in with rest of prescription and stormed off as if it was my sons fault. Not, sorry you had to come away back down because I didn't put them in. Just not good enough.
Poor service
My wife has a prescription which is an insulin injection pen. she takes 1 injection every week on Wednesday the pen has 4 doses in it but no matter when we order the prescription it never seems to be ready. We ordered it on Friday last week and were told it would be ready on Wednesday but when I went to collect it wasn't ready because they don't hold it on stock and would need to order it last month, we ordered it a week early and were told it wasn't ready because we ordered it too early. The staff seem to be taking people's health very lightly
Very messy confusing website
Very messy website. Hoping I get my consultation but information and subsequent phone calls for help were of no help at all.
I need to add information to my request. It didn't say how I could access my form again. So it means a third phone call on Monday.
My confidence is low so far!
Slow
Bottom shop trainee did not ask relevant questions when I was purchasing cocodamol also the other girl Was rude to gentleman in collecting daughters prescription
Very slow service even tho only 2 customers in shop
Went to pay for my tablets and girl
Said I had pay with card as had no change in till but there was no notice to say card payment only
You could write a review every week…
You could write a review every week about Dickson's the chemist and in my opinion has not got any better I've complained a few times and it never improves strange how when it was Leslie's It seem to be better run the people at the top are not doing their job properly in my opinion payed big money but not doing enough about some of the bother the customer is having and stopping the lies would be a great start..
Cheers John
Changed chemist to boots
Changed chemist to boots, I am on a lot of medication and on more than one occasion have told my wife “we are waiting on a specific item coming in” when I have ordered a few items and instead of giving my wife the rest of the prescription they don’t inform my wife they have the rest of the items. I called about this and found them to be very unprofessional and said “most patients like to collect things together”. They also for 2 full weeks held on to one of my inhalers and repeatedly told me they didn’t have it when they did.
Excellent service
I have had experiences with Uddingston & Rutherglen stores.
I have found staff to be very efficient, reliable, professional & caring.
Staff in store & delivery drivers have gone over and above at times of personal difficulty for me to ensure I get the help I need, as soon as possible.
Cannot recommend them highly enough.
