Let me tell you how PHENOMENAL this entire experience has been. About two months ago I was looking for customized whiskey bottles for a buddy of mine. At first, I was only expecting to find regular bottles (Jack, Johnnie, etc). When I stumbled on DD's website I instantly fell in love.
The entire site is very well laid out and super informative. After spending a bit of time on there, I decided to order a bottle. During the order I was able to make my own custom blend. They give you a breakdown of each barrel selection with tasting notes and useful info. Solid work. I created my own blend from four different barrels, chose my proof strength, then customized my label. Great online experience.
Two days after I ordered I needed to make a change to the proof. I emailed them with my change and they promptly confirmed it. From the initial order to delivery took less than 7 days.
The packaging is BEAUTIFUL. The presentation is next level. The bottle...the bottle was EVERYTHING. From the shape, the weight, the feel, down to the label...top notch.
We JUST cracked it open last night bc we've both been busy. All this hype and we couldn't wait to taste it. If you're still reading this, just know that I felt obligated to do an entire write-up. THIS WAS ONE OF THE SMOOTHEST WHISKEYS THAT I HAVE EVER TASTED!! I don't know if it was the perfect percentage of each blend I created (I don't remember what it was bc the hand written blend card is at my buddy's house) but this blew our minds and palettes away. So much so that what started with two pours each ended with us emptying the entire bottle. *** Extra bonus for zero hangover after 3 hours of sleep ***
From start to finish, this was one of the best purchasing and tasting experiences I've had. I don't care if you're on the fence about buying it or hardly bought in, make the purchase and be ready to be blown away.

Best Birthday Gift Ever!!!
