Hoggin loose delivered
I have recently purchased 40 tonnes of Hoggin from Dandy's and the team were faultless in my experience, I had to put off my delivery because of timings at my end and the team were very accommodating and flexible.
On the first delivery the wagon was unable to get into our farm, the team arranged alternative transport that had a £200 on cost, Dandy's split that with me and got all the hoggin to me in very good time by an excellent driver.
As for the product, it was exactly as I expected and what was described, highly recommended.
Will be using Dandy's products and service again as they were brilliant.

Leading by example!
I’ve used Dandy’s to rent storage during a house move to Chester, and then for turf, and topsoil for my new house.
The Dandy’s team are extremely customer centric, which unfortunately most company’s just pay lip service to nowadays. I was always looked after, staff really polite, making sure I was satisfied.
I was also struck by the positive safety culture they have when visiting, good PPE adherence, training new starters, clear instructions to drivers/visitors etc, things that aren’t often picked up on by customers but matter so much.
A real family business that deserves recognition!

Damage caused by delivery method but issued with full refund and compensation
Update: as of 18th July. Dandy's have issued a full refund plus compensation for us to fix the damaged driveway.
We ordered 7 x 1000kg bulk bags from Dandy's. The bulk bags were delivered on pallets (not on a grab lorry) and were supposed to be offloaded by a pump trolley by one delivery driver. The pump trolley was unable to hold the weight of the bulk bags which resulted in extensive damage to the tarmac, including potholes the size of footprints, and 2-3m long scratches in the tarmac. Rather than taking responsibility for the damage caused by the inappropriate delivery method, Dandy's blamed us (the client) for this, and then failed to provide a full refund for the order. We refused delivery of 5 of the 7 bulk bags to prevent further damage to the property, but Dandy's refunded us for only the 5 bags that could not be delivered.
Absolutely terrible experience, costing both time and money. We would expect a full refund and compensation for the damage caused to the property.

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m pleased we were ultimately able to resolve the issue with a full refund and compensation from the courier to cover the repairs.
We’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience caused. At the time of delivery, the extreme heat had unfortunately softened the tarmac, which led to the surface being damaged by the pump truck. Under normal weather conditions, this offload method is generally reliable, particularly as your property is flat and hard-standing, which is usually ideal for palletised deliveries.
Due to your distance from our Chester depot, HIAB (crane) offload isn’t available, as it would significantly increase the delivery cost, something we always aim to minimise for our customers.
We completely understand how frustrating this experience must have been. While this fell short of the standard we aim to deliver, we appreciate your patience while we worked to find a resolution. Please rest assured that we’re always reviewing ways to improve our nationwide delivery service.

Really great service
Really great service, the team in the sales office were great at working out whether a smaller or normal size vehicle could deliver down my small cul-de-sac. 2 jumbo bags of topsoil arrived and placed exactly where I needed it - all a very pleasant experience and I will be using them again, when I get round to finishing the rest of the garden!

ordered what I believed to be Play safe sand for chil…
I ordered what I believed to be child-safe, washed play sand. However, the product delivered contained material unsuitable for use around children. After some discussion with the Dandy's customer service, they remedied the situation by swapping the sand with the correct playsafe sand. While initially my experience was not so good, the commitment to good customer service and interest in building customer loyalty meant they supported fixing the situation.
