I'm so glad we went with Cunningtons, as first time buyers with a hectic home life Cunningtons couldn't have made the whole process more simple. I have dealt with so many lease transactions before, but Nicholas Brothers is the best. They are very professional and take their client's every step with care and attention. Commercial lease can be very complex. It was peace of mind having the most influential legal professional handling it.

I'm deeply upset and distressed by my recent experience with Aymer Hutton. Our lease holder backed out of the deal because they didn't want to work with him ( that says it all) and now Aymer Hutton is withholding funds being super awkward and resistant -still not received our money asking several times- that they received in 2021 after house sale . Held funds was for a change in lease variation but unfortunately didn’t happen as he wants to go through a different solicitor as refuses to deal with him
We have asked again several times to move on and be refunded but also not been advised what the additional interest that will be included on the figure owed .
After it coming from my account originally and providing ample evidence of our bank account is active and no involvement in money laundering, they are still refusing to release the funds until a personalised signed letter from my husband is received ??
That’s just made matters worsen ,so unprofessional so outdated (no words ) so delaying timescales again
Aymer Hutton has requested a letter from my husband, to put it back into the account it came from which is his wife’s!! which seems unnecessary and confusing.
A signed letter this is 2023 !!?? Dumbfounded is all I can say

This situation has caused me significant financial hardship, as I sold my house in order to purchase a prosthetic leg. Losing the lease has only compounded my difficulties. I am at a loss for words to express how distraught I feel about this entire experience. It's understandable that we feel upset and frustrated with the situation and would always want to advise on our awful experience with this company to avoid it for anyone else

Aymer Hutton is being uncooperative lost our lease variant and withholding funds that rightfully belong to me .

The cunningtons portal that allows you to log into gives you a real time guideline of how things are progressing with the sale of your property. I personally cannot fault the service provided Tahira and Cunningtons and will be usingb their services again for the sale of my other property.

Tahira Khan at Cunningtons at the Solihull branch has gone above & beyond with the service she has provided me which has been a prolonged year with the process of selling my house with my issues with buyers pulling out & then the external mortgage crisis/ rising interest rates .She has provided a very professional plus also caring service & has kept me informed throughout & persisted with calls to other solicitors for updates in our sale which at many times has not been very forthcoming but she has continued to chase until resolved.
