I was unable to amend the target amount after a payment was received and I also would like to hide/delete the crowdfund due to only receiving £10.

Please be aware that when you crowdfund, especially if it's for a personal project, only friends/people that you know in your community and friends of friends are likely to pledge.
I'm sorry if you know this already, however people can sometimes be under the misconception that when they put a project on Crowdfunder, strangers will come along and pledge lots of money on it. This unfortunately is not often the case in reality.
If you wanted to change the target amount or project closing date then it is simple to do, please just get in contact with the support team via email or through the platform for us to help you with this.

Seamless service and support

Great basic functioning, poor transparency around donation to the platform itself.
The platform worked well for the most part but a considerable issue for us was the high percentage automatically set for the donation to the platform (much higher than other similar platforms we have used) and the purposeful lack of transparency about how to change or even remove this. We had lots of complaints from our supporters about this issue.

The tip is used by Crowdfunder so that we can help more projects. We do not charge platform fees for projects that are charitable causes, not for profit and personal fundraisers. We therefore rely on the generosity of those that can afford it, to tip the platform. It's through voluntary tips that we can break even and can cover our staff costs.

People sponsoring my charity should not be asked to tip with a large % as default
I liked to ease of setting up the page and the communication and prompt payments.
I really disliked the slider that suggested £40 as a starting donation point and even more the tip slider that set the tip at 20%, didn’t slide to 0 and required an extra click in order not to tip. Crowdfunder was receiving a small % already of what I raised so this was unexpected.
