I like to read my credit report on Credit Carma as it gives information that I believe to be true and accurate, without having to pay a fee beforehand to get what I need to make decisions. I do have a minor complaint, that is when I look at a card, it sometimes says you have an excellent chance of approval but the issuer says only a good chance, this leads me stop from deciding to apply and wait for a while, possibly weeks. In a nutshell sometimes offers differ from what Credit Carma says and describes about my offfers.

When I first discovered Credit Karma many years ago, I first thought it was a scam only to discover it was one of the best tools to hit the internet. I love it because: (a) it's free; and (b) it provides not only one's credit score, but so many useful tips, a slew of credit card options from which to choose based on each of their offerings that work best for an individual, as well as loan companies if ever needed. The highlight of using Credit Karma is that, as mentioned, it's free. It is always at your fingertips versus having to send written communication to Equifax or Transunion to request a credit report (one of which I believe still charges a fee, which is crazy), which would probably be out of date by the time it was received. Using Credit Karma provides you with an up-to-date report each time, and the site is easy to navigate for whatever you want to view.

Now, if I could only win the monthly $5,000 prize they offer ...

Where Credit Karma is the best the best app on I like it. It’s working good for me. It’s one of the best. The only thing I can’t get any money. I don’t know why.

I like being able to regularly check that there are no surprises regarding what I believe is happening with my credit card etc.

I don’t however understand why my score fluctuates when the situation stays consistent.

Since I have an excellent credit score, I find it very disappointing that people with much lower scores are given the opportunity to win $5000 while it’s impossible for me to raise my score enough to qualify.

Love credit karma. They keep me informed and help me with my credit when I need it. They give me credit tips too. Thank you Credit karma.

I went with the free Credit Karma Canada and it won't even allow me to see what my rating is! I am not only frustrated trying, but, I am not happy. I try again everytime I receive an email from Credit Karma claiming that my score went up. I get nothing.

It has been for me the place to keep an eye on my personal finances and credit rating, thanks to the credit monitor it’s offering, I was able to spot collections that weren’t even supposed to be there. Great app, with very informative options and easy to navigate!
I hope I will be on of the Members of the month one of these days!

100% recommended. When I first started to use Credit Karma my score was very low. I had no idea how to fix it until I started to explore the app. I was given tips, tricks and tutorials on how to boost my scores and it worked, my score went up. The app is user friendly and good at notifying if/why your score changed. I also like how it will recommend credit cards based on your score avoiding any unnecessary hits on your credit. I look forward to checking in weekly/biweekly, it makes me feel like I have more control over my credit score.
