Credit karma is more interested in protecting someone who has committed a crime than in helping a victim of it. Their site is unregulated, and someone was monitoring my most intimate financial details for eight years without me knowing. I tried to contact them numerous times to find out the details of the fraud committed on me and they refused to help. Do not use this company.

Lots of information

I was solicited by Intuit Credit Karma while on their app to apply for a balance transfer with Citi Card. The benefits would include a balance transfer with no interest for about 14 months. I applied, was accepted and then transferred some of my American Express balance. About $5500. I did not incur higher balances, I just moved some owed money to a no interest account.
My credit score plummeted from 815 to 793 on Transunion and 798 on the Equifax. At no point does anyone explain that following Intuit Credit Karmas recommendation will result in massive credit score reduction. I almost believe it is a direct and intended purpose is to lower good scores so banks can charge higher interest rates.

Great availability on Credit Karma great service and overall great

Well, to begin with, I had bad credit and they offered me credit cards to improve my credit, and it was worse. So, if you know that those cards you recommend steal from people, why do you do it? You're thieves too.

I find it very useful overall. It is easy to understand, highly educational, and provides excellent resources for gaining a deeper understanding of this scoring system. The design creates a positive user experience. I would recommend its use.

Not happy. Applied for a Credit Card through Credit Karma. Have had an account for about 7 yrs. Followed their Karma Promise links where it states 3 times!! That this will NOT effect your Credit. But it sure did. Hard inquiry. 3 points. When I contacted them they keep blowing me off daying they are looking into it. Not playing games with these jokers. Closing my account amd sill be in touch with Mastercard , BBB and a Lawyer. Even Google AI says they are bad for doing this. Dont trust these clowns.

While the app offers helpful guidance, it is not always accurate. My credit score with the other agency is much higher, and my financial advisors can't understand why that is the case.
