If I could give a no stars review I would. I never usually write bad reviews, but if any company deserves it, it's this one & I would not want anyone else falling victim to this company. I found this company through Bark.com in November 2024. Henry (Senior Business Consultant) was very charming at the start and promised me that he would do everything possible to ensure he exceeded my expectations & would never let me down. That statement couldn't be any further from the truth. Funny how things change once you part with cash. Once I paid the agreed contract price of £199 & Joe started my project, a few weeks into the project he told me I would need a "dedicated server" costing an additional £500, I queried this with Henry, as this was not mentioned or discussed before my project started, but his reasoning behind it made it sound feasible so agreed to go ahead. A few days later Joe was asking for more money stating that Google required "mandatory security add-ons", which would have cost a further £479. By this time, my suspicions that he was being deceitful in obtaining money for services that were not required was confirmed. I was not paying for services that were unnecessary & asked that he provide me with everything that I had paid for to date so that I could find a reputable company to continue. It took me over three months for him to provide my new company with my files & even when they did get them hardly anything had been done. I have emailed the company directly & received no acknowledgement or reply. Henry wouldn't answer his phone & Joe just sends messages via WhatsApp promising to respond to my emails & never does. Nearly 4 months on & my website is still not finished as it pretty much had to be rebuilt from scratch. I still haven't had a response to my emails (despite numerous chasers) & have not received a fraction of what I have paid for. Bark.com have been made aware & have assured me that this company has been suspended indefinitely. Fortunately, I have kept copies of ALL communications or lack of and have initiated court proceedings against them to recoup money lost. I am able to provide evidence should Trustpilot require it.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after eight months of ongoing frustration, financial loss, and complete disappointment, I feel compelled to share my experience with Creative Web Codes.
In October 2024, I hired Creative Web Codes under a package deal to design and develop a website for my business. What followed was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. From the very start, progress was incredibly slow.
As the project dragged on, they demanded several additional payments that were never included in the original package — including upfront charges for three years of domain registration and hosting, even though the site was nowhere near completion. I questioned why only one year wasn’t sufficient, but they insisted I pay the full amount. Reluctantly, I complied to avoid further delays. In the end, I paid over seven times the agreed package price.
As of June 2025, the website is still not completed. There’s been no progress, no follow-up, and no way to escalate the issue. The only communication I had was with a technical staff member—until even that contact stopped replying. Now, I can’t reach anyone from the company. It feels like they’ve vanished. Despite repeated attempts to contact the team by email and phone, there was no response, and absolutely no accountability.
Out of frustration, I requested a refund. Unsurprisingly, I received no response. Work on the website stopped completely, leaving me with nothing to show for the time and money I invested.
Creative Web Codes has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic customer service. Instead of receiving the functioning website I was promised, I’m left with an incomplete project, a large bill, and months of wasted time and stress.
This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I’m now planning to pursue legal action to recover my money because Creative Web Codes does not carry out their responsibility to deliver the website to me.

I got my website created through Creative Webcodes and I have nothing but the best things to say about their whole team. From the beginning, they were very patient with me in explaining everything as I'm not very good with the computers. I have an amazing website now and my clients love it. My experience with Creative Web Codes has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. I hired them to build a website, and what was meant to be a straightforward project turned into a 6+ month ordeal filled with delays, confusion, and broken promises.

It began with hidden fees and charges that were never explained upfront. Once I questioned this, communication became inconsistent and unclear. I had to repeat instructions 5–6 times before getting a proper response or action, and progress remained painfully slow.

I initially left a negative review on Trustpilot to share my experience. In response, they contacted me and pressured me to take the review down, promising to get things back on track. They offered 1 year of website maintenance and one month of social media management as compensation. I agreed, removed the review, and gave them another chance.

Unfortunately, the same problems continued—poor communication, lack of follow-through, and more delays. Eventually, I left another honest review, and this time I was threatened that my project would be suspended and the website taken down unless I removed it.

That kind of behavior is unethical and completely unacceptable. Despite requesting a refund based on all the above, they refused. Now, I’ve lost both time and money on a company I simply cannot trust.

I strongly advise others to be very cautious before doing business with Creative Web Codes. My experience has been one of broken trust, empty promises, and intimidation tactics.

The technician (Joe) who built my website was always very helpful and patient with me, designing the site perfectly according to my instructive input - so I’m more than happy. The one drawback, to be frank, was that there were two sets of add-ons after a little while building the site, both of which seemed quite high to me, although it was explained in detail how essential they were. I was thinking the original price quoted was very low, so that became clear when the extra costs came up. But, basically speaking, I’m generally happy with this company’s very professional work.

Bark is a complete new platform to me and I had no previous experience of working through them, I think I got lucky choosing Creative webcodes. Throughout the whole process they were quick to respond, understood and interpreted my requirements exactly and was so patient with me especially with a few amends towards the end of the project. I was sold this service on a website example CreativeWebCodes gave me when commissioning the website. The design was SO far from the example, I didn't like it and didn't feel like it met the brief, my concerns were ignored and I felt pressured to chose from a selection I wasn't happy witb. When I tried to refer back I felt patronised and harassed to make decision on the design. At this point I felt a refund was the only option. I was told I would have it on January, then February, and then March. I am still waiting.
