I left a review on the 8th December which was negative as I found no way to communicate with this company. Since then we have been in contact. They have corrected their phone number on their website and they processed the return I wanted very quickly and efficiently. I could not edit my previous review but wanted to post this correction.

Great customer service. A light had failed within its 5 year warranty period and a full refund was provided so that I could purchase a replacement

Very poor customer service. I have emailed requesting an RMA for a lamp which is faulty. At first Ady seemed helpful but then since Wednesday he had not responded it sent the RMA which he had said he would do. I am now out of time for the return due to Comet Lighting not dealing with this. Their returns policy stipulates emailing them prior to returning a product yet they do not respond and thus the product cannot be returned and we have no other option but to keep it but not use it.

I had issues with a light however I would like to actually say this has been dealt with and I’m impressed with the customer service. I’ve been given a full refund and I don’t have to mess around with having to pay and arrange to send it back the company have said I can just dispose of it myself. They have rang me numerous times to keep me updated and check that I have received the money back in my bank account so I’m very happy with the customer service

Good choice of products at competitive prices but they used to offer telephone sales for enquiring about specific products etc. Now it's all based by email and online ordering. I question Comet's efficiency. I ordered two items, one light unit at over £100 and a single downlight at £6. Why there were two separate deliveries on consecutive days when the down light was such a small item, it would have fitted in the same package? Reducing costs in one hand whilst incurring unnecessary costs in the other.

Placed an order on the 2nd May (18 days ago), received and confirmation email saying; "Thank you for your purchase! We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent", but since then I've not had an update despite emailing twice (just emailed for a 3rd time today) and calling on multiple occasions. Not sure what is going on as this company has many good reviews.

I’ve ordered lights from Comet on several occasions previously and my experience has always been great. Good value products, easy to order and very quick to despatch the items. I can fully recommend this supplier based on my experience.

Lights arrived in good time, but when the electrician got round to installing them, three of the four lights were found to be faulty. Reading the comments it seems to be a recurring issue that faulty stock is resold to future customers as new. Only contact with the company seems to be through email, and I cant seem to get to any conclusion.
